Cross-review of technical documentation for precast concrete components: Model access and configuration

Precast concrete component data comes from BIM detailed design documents, rebar and concrete batch ledgers, mold table and curing kiln operation

Data characteristics of this category

Precast concrete component data comes from BIM detailed design documents, rebar and concrete batch ledgers, mold table and curing kiln operation records, laboratory test reports, and product QR code traceability systems. Daily generated documents include component detailed drawings, rebar cutting lists, mold inspection forms, pouring and vibration records, curing logs, and demolding and factory inspection reports. Data is generated per individual component, each batch of materials, and each curing cycle in a kiln. Fields include component ID, rebar diameter, design strength, curing duration, and more. Common units are millimeters, megapascals, and hours.

Constraints on model access and configuration

Multi-source heterogeneous document formats require model access configurations to support multiple data types, including vector drawing text, table ledgers, and log records. Unlike fluid building materials delivered by the truckload, precast concrete components have individual piece attributes. Each batch’s validation must cover all associated parameters for a single component. High-frequency updates at the individual component, batch, or kiln level require the configured context window to hold all associated documents for a single batch of components. Component errors can cause on-site installation deviations or scrap, so model output must have high accuracy, and generation randomness must be limited. Additionally, cross-system data traceability requirements require the configuration to retain the associated path of original document references.

How to set configurations

This configuration is based on the interface and parameter logic of FastGPT v4.17.0.

Configuration ItemRecommended SettingRationale
maxContext8000–12000 tokenAdapts to the total length of associated documents for a single batch of precast concrete components, preventing truncation of core validation information
maxTokens2000–3000 tokenControls the output length of single-round review results, ensuring coverage of key validation items such as component dimensions and rebar configuration
quoteMaxToken1500 charactersRetains complete reference fragments from original documents, facilitating traceability of validation bases such as rebar cutting lists and curing records
temperature0.1–0.3Reduces generation randomness, improves accuracy of technical document reviews, and prevents outputs that do not comply with industry standards
AIPROXY_API_ENDPOINTFill in the actual proxy address based on the deployment environmentAdapts to external models or locally deployed model call paths, ensuring normal forwarding of requests
AIPROXY_API_TOKENValid token obtained from the proxy serviceCompletes identity verification, allowing calls to the configured large model interface

Three common configuration errors

  • Calling a locally deployed Ollama model returns empty content. Cause: AIPROXY_API_ENDPOINT is not correctly configured to point to Ollama's proxy forwarding address, or the token does not match the local Ollama service permissions.
  • Model context is unexpectedly truncated, leading to incomplete validation. Cause: maxContext value is too small, failing to cover the full length of associated documents for a single batch of components.
  • External model call fails with an identity verification error. Cause: AIPROXY_API_TOKEN is entered incorrectly, or the corresponding model permissions are not bound in the proxy service.

How to confirm successful configuration

  • Navigate to the FastGPT model management page, view the configured external model list, and confirm the target model has been added and displays a normal status.
  • Upload a single precast concrete component rebar cutting list and detailed drawing, trigger a test review, and check if the returned result includes clear validation conclusions and reference sources.
  • View the proxy service logs, confirm there are no 401 identity verification errors or timeout errors, and the interface request response time meets expectations.
  • Configure a model node in the workflow, select the connected model, and confirm the returned content after the test call is non-empty and valid, with no format abnormalities.

The values listed above are common starting points, and should be evaluated against the reader’s own samples.
