Data characteristics of this category
Data comes from multiple business documents of suppliers of automotive brake, steering, chassis and other parts. These documents include control plans, process flowcharts, work instructions, first article and inspection records, SPC reports, PPAP documents, and 8D reports. Data sources cover customer drawings, special characteristic lists, ERP/MES systems, measuring tool data, equipment process parameters, and supplier quality certificates. Update cadence is per batch, per shift, or continuous collection. Fields include process parameters, test results, batch identifiers, and other relevant fields. Units are mostly standard process-related units such as millimeters, newton-meters, and seconds.
Constraints for model access and configuration
Data for this category is scattered across multiple systems and document formats, with high update frequency. This requires the model access link to support incremental data synchronization and multi-source data aggregation. Business documents contain strongly formatted process parameters and test records. Parsing logic adapted to the standard document structure of the automotive industry must be configured. Restricted by the quality systems of vehicle customers, model output must match the fixed field requirements of PPAP and 8D reports. The output structure cannot be altered arbitrarily. Batch production generates large volumes of batch data. The context capacity of a single task must be limited to avoid processing timeouts that disrupt production schedules.
Configuration settings
The following configurations are based on FastGPT v4.17.0, and meet the model access and configuration requirements for mass-produced automotive parts scenarios.
| Configuration Item | Recommended Value Range | Rationale |
|---|---|---|
maxContext | 8000–12000 token | Adapts to multi-batch data aggregation needs for mass-produced automotive parts, avoiding exceeding context capacity limits |
maxTokens | 4000–6000 token | Limits the output length of single-round responses, avoiding exceeding the reference range of business documents |
temperature | 0.1–0.3 | Maintains output rigor for quality analysis scenarios, reducing random generation probability |
AIPROXY_API_ENDPOINT | TEI service address deployed on cloud computing servers | Adapts to self-developed or third-party deployed vector model services, matching the deployment location of computing resources |
quoteMaxToken | 1500 token | Retains complete references to key process parameters and test data in business documents, meeting traceability requirements |
| Workflow/API tool selection | auto | Allows the model to automatically choose whether to call tools to process structured data, adapting to multi-source data access scenarios |
Three common configuration errors
- Phenomenon: After redeploying the model and passing tests, each retrieval returns false as the reranking result. Cause: The reranking model and retrieval task are not bound in the model access configuration, or the configured reranking model version does not match the deployed version.
- Phenomenon: The MCP plugin is configured and tested normally, but only the XML or JSON code block of the AntV Chart is output during response, and the chart is not rendered. Cause: The front-end rendering adaptation switch of the MCP plugin is not enabled, or the trigger conditions for chart rendering are not configured.
- Phenomenon: After model access, key test values of measuring tools are missing from the retrieval results of batch data. Cause: Field mapping rules for measuring tool data are not added to the data synchronization configuration, causing some data sources to fail to load correctly.
How to verify a completed configuration
- Perform a retrieval test on batch data, and check whether the returned results include specified document fragments such as control plans and SPC reports.
- Trigger a root cause analysis task, and check whether the output format conforms to the standard structure of 8D reports.
- Call the reranking model for testing, and confirm that the returned result sorting matches the business logic.
- View the logs of the model service, and confirm that the synchronization frequency and update rhythm of multi-source data meet the requirements of per batch or per shift.
