What the documents look like
Short-video affiliate sales relies on long-term content exposure and product-link conversion. Real-time explanation is not the main mechanism. The material handled day to day includes short-video scripts, product lists for linked items, commission plans, and violation feedback. These materials are updated daily or weekly and directly affect whether a video can carry a product link and whether commission can be settled. Spoken lines in a script, product codes and names in a product list, percentage ranges in a commission plan, and rectification requirements in violation feedback all need to keep paragraph integrity inside the knowledge base. Conditions and the content they constrain should not be split apart.
A short-video script often pairs a selling-point sentence with a specific product code. A linked-product list pairs a product code with a product name and a commission rate. A commission plan pairs a rate range with the products it applies to. Violation feedback pairs a violation type with a rectification deadline. These pairings define the smallest unit that should stay together during chunking. The update frequency given for this category is daily and weekly. This page does not derive batch synchronization, full synchronization, real-time triggers, or transaction-triggered mechanisms from that frequency.
Constraints at the document chunking step
Chunking needs to inspect paragraphs according to the structure of each specific material. A selling-point sentence in a script and its product code should sit in the same data group. A rate in a commission plan and the product scope it applies to should stay in the same data group. A violation type in violation feedback and its rectification deadline should stay in the same data group. One group of original data can map to multiple indexes. A more concise and accurate index raises retrieval precision while reducing retrieval range. The reference limit is measured in tokens per search. The minimum relevance value takes effect only under semantic retrieval or when result reranking is used. Retrieval or a form does not constitute authorization to execute. Commission rate changes, product listing, and violation appeals each need their own downstream implementation.
Hypothetical drill sample: On 10 June 2025, a content operator organizes a linked-product list. The source text reads: "Product code A-102, product name Portable Juicer Cup, commission rate 15%, applicable video type Kitchen Favorites. Product code A-103, product name Folding Kettle, commission rate 12%, applicable video type Outdoor Travel." On the same day a draft sentence is received: "The commission rate for A-102 is 20%." The task is to determine whether the draft sentence matches the source text, and whether the operator has authority to modify the commission rate.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Hypothetical trial starting value for this sample | Verification method |
|---|---|---|
| Search mode | Hybrid retrieval | Compare candidates returned by semantic retrieval and full-text retrieval separately, and observe whether code A-102 is matched |
| Minimum relevance | 0.3 | This value is a hypothetical starting point for this trial, used to compare whether A-102 is still recalled at different thresholds |
| Reference limit | 2000 tokens | This value is a hypothetical starting point for this trial, used to compare whether returned content covers a complete product entry |
| Question optimization | Enabled | Compare retrieval results for the short question "A-102 commission" before and after enabling |
| Result reranking | Enabled | Compare the ranking position of the A-102 related entry before and after reranking |
| Data index | Add a product-code index to the A-102 entry | Compare full-text retrieval matching with a text-only index and with the added code index |
The minimum relevance value is a filter threshold, not a final ordering rule. A relevance score is not a category, entity, or permission filter. It does not exclude unrelated businesses or unauthorized records. The reference limit uses the documented token unit. Cross-model retrieval association is not available; identifiers should be checked first and non-matching items excluded. A library using a different vector model cannot be jointly associated. The optional paths in the overall document flow do not all execute on every request. Image retrieval requires an image input and model capability. Reranking requires a model and must be enabled by configuration.
Three common errors
- Splitting a commission rate and its applicable product scope into different data groups. The check: input "A-102 commission rate" and compare whether the returned content contains both A-102 and 15%. If only the rate value is returned, the segmentation is incomplete.
- Treating the 20% in the draft sentence as source fact while the source text states 15%. The check: compare the value of the same field in the draft sentence and the source text. 15% and 20% are mutually exclusive values in the same field, so the draft is judged contradictory.
- Treating retrieval of a commission rate as equivalent to the operator having authority to modify that rate. The check: verify whether an authorization record or approval status exists. A retrieval result and a filled form do not constitute authorization. When the authorization record is absent, record the item as pending verification.
How to verify the setup
- Input "A-102 Portable Juicer Cup 15%" from the hypothetical source text, and compare whether the returned content contains the complete product entry. If the returned content lacks the product code or the rate, the condition is not met. If the returned content fully contains the code, name, and rate, the condition is met.
- Input the draft sentence "The commission rate for A-102 is 20%," and compare the value of the same field in that sentence and the source text. The source text states 15% and the draft states 20%. These are mutually exclusive values in the same field, so the draft is judged contradictory. If the source text does not state a rate, record the draft as unsupported.
- Input "A-102 commission rate modification authority," and compare whether the returned content contains an authorization record or approval status. If the returned content contains only the commission rate value, record the item as unsupported. If the returned content contains a clear authorizing subject and authorization scope, the condition is met. For an empty result, a paper input of [] can be used to check the downstream design. This page does not claim that a search for a fictional rule necessarily returns an empty array.
An unsigned termination is not a completed termination. A pending review does not prove the absence of operating authority. Signing, reaching cooperation, and contract effectiveness are three distinct facts. Retrieval is not authorization. Business verification, approval, database writes, and external synchronization each need their stated downstream implementation. Where a document field is not provided, the value is unknown.
