What the documents look like
For after-sales questions in Amazon FBM fulfillment, this page examines FastGPT citation tracing. Waybill entry, awaiting collection and a buyer question each have their own scope. The examples are hypothetical.
Constraints at the citation tracing step
A proposed FBM aftersales query uses a dispatch-management entry saying waybill information entered, a carrier-query excerpt saying awaiting collection and a buyer message asking for dispatch time confirmation. No actual collection scan or receipt proof is supplied. An answer about parcel progress must separate administrative preparation from carrier activity. Entered information establishes the recording action, the excerpt establishes the state shown in that query and the message establishes an information request. None establishes that the carrier physically received the parcel. Entered waybill information does not show that the entered reference is associated with an actual carrier event. A collection answer needs a matching event and parcel identity. The administrative entry alone cannot establish that relationship, and a scan for another parcel cannot be imported because its timing appears similar.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Task check | Material condition | Evidence action |
|---|---|---|
| Recording action | Waybill information entered | Trace the management entry. |
| Carrier state | Excerpt says awaiting collection | Retain the query time. |
| Question identity | Buyer requests timing confirmation | Do not turn the question into a reply. |
| Dispatch evidence | Actual collection event absent | Obtain carrier-activity evidence. |
| Currency | Older excerpt cannot establish unchanged state | Check newer material before concluding. |
Documented conditions
| Documented item / implementation check | Condition |
|---|---|
Associated knowledge bases | Knowledge bases associated with one search node must use the same embedding model. |
Citation output | The output is an array; an empty array can continue. |
Citation input handoff | Inspect citations actually received by the answer step. |
Citation display check | Trace displayed sources to their originals. |
Document-validity check | Inspect source identity and applicable version separately. |
Three common errors
Investigate two expansions of scope: deriving actual dispatch from entered waybill information and deriving confirmed timing from a buyer question. The first needs actual collection evidence; the second needs a merchant reply and its basis. FastGPT source tracing should preserve the interrogative nature of the message rather than extracting only dispatch time. A citation array containing management material still lacks carrier-event evidence. If the awaiting-collection excerpt is older, it also cannot establish that the current state definitely remains unchanged without a more recent check.
How to verify the setup
Acceptance should ask about the recording action, the available carrier state and the basis for actual dispatch timing separately. Trace the first two to entered information and awaiting collection, then identify the newer carrier event or supported reply required for a timing conclusion. Inspect actual citations for the excerpt time and source role, ensuring that a question has not become a statement. Empty references require checking current scope and passage transfer; they cannot establish that a waybill was never created or supply an otherwise unevidenced transport stage.
