What the documents look like
For after-sales questions in Warehouse picking and packing, this page examines FastGPT retrieval. Separate order configuration, sample-picking text and current-parcel evidence in warehouse aftercare retrieval. The examples are hypothetical.
Constraints at the retrieval step
A proposed warehouse aftercare packet has an order for a cup with a lid, a picking page for a lidless sample and a service question asking which version belongs to this parcel. A customer asks whether this order lacks a lid. No actual parcel contents or sample-order relationship is supplied. Retrieve order configuration and parcel evidence separately. A relevant lidless-sample page does not establish an omission, and an order does not establish that packing was completed. Compare literal product phrases and the full question, retaining the subject of each actual candidate.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Material check | Conditions in this test | Implementation evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Order configuration | Cup with lid | Keep separate from parcel evidence. |
| Sample purpose | Lidless sample | Do not make current packing. |
| Rewritten subject | Order or sample | Compare full questions. |
| Reference transfer | Configuration in candidates | Inspect delivery to answer. |
| Missing evidence | Current parcel contents | Keep unresolved if absent. |
Documented conditions
| Documented item / implementation check | Condition |
|---|---|
Associated knowledge bases | Knowledge bases associated with one search node must use the same embedding model. |
Search mode | Semantic, full-text and hybrid modes are available. |
Citation limit | Citation limits are measured in tokens. |
Minimum relevance | Range 0–1; active for semantic search or reranking. |
Question optimization | Resolves references and expands questions. |
Three common errors
First, a sample page may replace order evidence; inspect candidate purpose and parcel correspondence rather than adopting a shared cup term. Second, question optimization may replace this order’s omission with whether the sample includes a lid; retain both questions and check the changed subject. Third, recalled order wording may never reach answering; compare candidates, actual references and output. These concern source, rewritten identity and transfer. Raising relevance thresholds to remove another source cannot by itself establish that the underlying evidence problem has been resolved for the actual parcel.
How to verify the setup
Ask what the order includes, what the sample describes and which parcel evidence remains missing, inspecting returned originals. Compare semantic, full-text and hybrid retrieval with the same questions without replacing identity checks. Token-limited references need configuration and subject qualifiers retained. Added parcel inspection changes only supported claims; another parcel’s image supplies no current evidence. This exercise does not determine whether an omission occurred or who is responsible, and it executes no replacement. Missing physical records remain unresolved rather than filled by a confident answer, retrieval score or the stated composition of an unexecuted order.
