Marketplace category access: conversation logs for after-sales questions

Review conversation logs for after-sales questions in Marketplace category access. Check input mappings, source evidence and failure handling before use.

What the documents look like

Category access work happens before listing or store onboarding, and the core materials are the business license, trademark registration certificate, brand authorization chain, and industry license. The order fulfillment and after-sales question stage produces conversations about correction progress, gaps in the authorization chain, and whether a license matches the applied category. Three features of this material shape the implementation on this page.

First, one onboarding entity often has materials supplied separately by marketplace recruitment operations, the store onboarding specialist, and the brand channel manager. Conversation identity must be checked against chatId and the business record together, and sessions from different entry points cannot be counted as one.

Second, qualification material status changes over time. A conversation log records the content of one question and answer at one point in time. The existence of a log entry does not mean the material passed review.

Third, the audit object is the conversation itself. Reconciliation, retention, and compliance requirements are carried out by a complete business plan elsewhere. Retrieval and relevance scores do not carry permission or entity isolation duties, and the same-vector-model requirement for a knowledge base does not extend to business registration sites or other external systems.

Constraints at the conversation logs step

Checking the target conversation against the business record by chatId is the first step of an audit. When the conversation interface is used to obtain run details, detail is set according to the official contract, and module status and complete results are read from responseData. In non-stream mode the result is stored in responseData; in stream mode the result is distinguished by event. The log is compared against the fields the interface actually returns, and business data that is not returned cannot be assumed to be fully retained. Identity fields in test mode may differ from a formal call, so input, history, and returned content are checked separately. Retrieval and the relevance score do not carry permission or entity isolation duties. The same-vector-model requirement for retrieval libraries cannot be extended to industry and commerce sites or other external systems.

Hypothetical paper exercise: an onboarding specialist submits a brand authorization chain material. The source text reads: "Authorizing party A, authorized party B, authorized brand C, authorization period from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, authorization scope limited to online sales in mainland China." On the same day a proposed draft sentence reads: "B has obtained complete authorization from C and can immediately list all categories." The point to be judged: whether the authorization scope covers "all categories," and whether the authorization period supports the wording "immediately list."

Configuration and implementation checks

Configuration itemDocumented setting or implementation checkRelation to the sample
chatIdA non-empty string uses the database session; length is less than 250Check that the sample conversation belongs to one onboarding entity
detailSet to true returns intermediate values and complete resultsInspect the module response of the authorization chain question
responseChatItemIdWhen passed, it becomes the response message ID stored in the database and must be unique under the current chatIdMark the response record of the sample conversation
streamDistinguishes how event and responseData carry valuesCheck returned content according to the actual call mode
authProxyRequires the team owner to enable it; the proxy identity still needs permission on the target app and sessionConfirm the authorization boundary of a handover operation
loadCustomFeedbacksOptional; reads custom feedbackCheck the feedback record of the sample conversation

Three common errors

  1. Treating the existence of a log as proof that a qualification passed. In the sample, the authorization chain material records only that the authorization scope is limited to online sales, while the draft sentence says all categories can be listed. The input is the draft sentence and the source material text, the comparison is the authorization scope field, and the observable result is that the two do not agree.
  2. Treating a retrieval score as a permission filter. The input is a query and a returned score, the comparison is that score against the business authorization record, and the observable result is that the score contains no entity or category permission information.
  3. Mixing test-mode identity fields with a formal call. The input is the appId and chatId of two calls, the comparison is the identity fields of the two calls, and the observable result is that they may differ and must be checked separately.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input the sample source material text and the draft sentence. Compare the authorization scope and authorization period fields. When the draft sentence contains "all categories" or "immediately list" while the source text does not state this, the result is judged unsupported.
  2. Input a query and the returned quoteList. Compare the score against the business authorization record. The presence of a score does not mean the record is authorized; the entity and category are checked separately.
  3. Input the appId and chatId of two calls. Compare the identity fields and historical content. When the two differ, they are recorded separately and not merged.

A pending request is not an approval, an offered option is not an execution, and an unsigned termination is not a completed termination. Any document field not supplied remains unknown, and any missing evidence remains missing.
