Douyin storefront operations: workflow routing for after-sales questions

Review workflow routing for after-sales questions in Douyin storefront operations. Check input mappings, source evidence and failure handling before use.

What the documents look like

Douyin storefront operations center on product cards and store experience scores. Compared with live-room operations, which depend on the rhythm of a single broadcast, order fulfillment and after-sales question handling draw on the Douyin Shop workbench, the Douyin e-commerce learning center, Selected Alliance data, and logistics interfaces. The documents handled day to day include product qualification pages, experience score details, shipping violation appeals, and store announcements. These materials update daily and per order. Experience score details and shipping violation appeals directly affect traffic, violation point deductions, and consumer compensation, so workflow routing must carry the subject, object, status, and validity scope from each document item by item. Retrieval results and form entries are not authorization evidence.

Constraints at the workflow routing step

When a form input node triggers, the conversation enters an interaction state, the workflow state is recorded, and after the user completes required fields and submits, the node passes the collected information to later nodes. A user selection node evaluates the user's choice and executes the corresponding "yes" branch. State recording during interaction is behavior of the interaction node; no separate global state-recording switch is documented. Collected information must be explicitly passed to later retrieval, judgment, or interface nodes. Order writes, document backfill, and external status synchronization require a separate business interface or downstream process. Retrieval does not perform authorization. Semantic recall and relevance scores do not handle permission or entity isolation. Libraries built on different vector models cannot be associated together; identifiers must be checked first and non-matching items excluded. Optional paths shown in the overall document flow diagram do not mean every request executes all of them. Image retrieval requires a corresponding image input and model capability, and reranking requires a model enabled according to settings.

Hypothetical paper exercise sample: a Douyin shop operator handling order fulfillment and after-sales questions receives a source document reading: "Store announcement: from March 1, 2025, this store files delayed-shipment reports for out-of-stock orders. The reporting scope covers paid orders from March 1 to March 31. Shipping violation appeals must be submitted after the experience score details are generated." The draft sentence to be assessed is: "This announcement has authorized direct compensation completion for all out-of-stock orders from March 1 to March 31." The draft conflates reporting scope with compensation execution. The announcement states no compensation authorization and no compensation subject or amount, so the draft sentence is unsupported.

Configuration and implementation checks

Configuration itemSetting or check contentRelation to the sample
Form input nodeEnters interaction state on trigger, collects required fields, passes them on after submissionCollects out-of-stock order number and payment date for later judgment
User selection nodeExecutes the corresponding "yes" branch after the user makes a choiceVerifies the "submit report" branch connection one by one
Interaction state checkState recording is interaction-node behavior; no separate global state-recording switchChecks whether state recording occurs during the interaction wait
Output handoff checkExplicitly passes collected information to later retrieval, judgment, or interface nodesCompares form output with later node input for consistency
External operation divisionOrder writes, document backfill, and external status sync require a separate business interface or downstream processCompensation execution is not completed inside this workflow; a separate interface is required
Retrieval scope checkChecks identifiers and excludes non-matching items across different vector modelsConfirms the sample document enters a target retrieval scope with access rights

Three common errors

  1. Treating retrieval results as authorization evidence. The sample announcement states only the reporting scope and no compensation authorization. Using the retrieved announcement directly to trigger compensation treats retrieval as authorization. Check method: input the sample announcement text, compare the "report" and "compensation" fields, and observe whether a compensation execution action appears; the condition is met when it does not appear.
  2. Treating form entries as business verification. The form input node collects required information and passes it on, but business verification, approval, database writes, and external synchronization require separate downstream implementation. Check method: input the sample order number and payment date, compare the form output with the later interface node input, and observe whether only information passing occurs without an order write.
  3. Treating optional paths as executing on every request. Optional paths such as image retrieval and reranking shown in the overall document flow diagram do not mean every request executes all of them. Check method: input the sample document, compare whether the actual input includes an image and reranking model settings, and observe whether the corresponding path does not execute when conditions are absent.

How to verify the setup

  • Verification one: input the sample announcement text and the draft sentence, compare the field values of "report" and "compensation." If the draft sentence claims authorized compensation while the announcement states no compensation authorization, the draft sentence is judged unsupported.
  • Verification two: input the sample order number and payment date, compare the form input node output with the later retrieval node input. If the two are consistent and the retrieval node does not trigger an order write, information passing and external operation division meet the condition.
  • Verification three: input the sample document, compare whether the actual input includes an image and reranking model settings. If the corresponding conditions are absent and the image retrieval and reranking paths do not execute, this matches the documented description of optional paths. If the document is missing, record the gap and keep the status pending verification.
