What the documents look like
Franchise filing management operates through the commercial franchise information management system, enterprise licences, store lists and contract ledgers. The daily documents are franchise contracts, operations manuals, filing materials and information disclosure documents. Filing work handles legal disclosure and the commerce department system; it does not handle specific site engineering. That distinction shapes this page: citation tracing for order fulfilment and after-sales questions requires each statement in an answer to be matched back to a checkable source text among contract clauses, manual entries, filing materials and disclosure documents. Version and validity scope of the material become the core of the check.
Constraints at the citation tracing step
The knowledge base search node can associate one or more knowledge bases that share the same vector model. Its output is a citation array, and the length may be zero, which means the output path still completes even when nothing is retrieved. The minimum relevance value takes effect only in semantic search or when result reranking is used; it is a filter threshold and does not carry permission or entity isolation. Hybrid search merges results through RRF. Reranking requires a rerank model and must be enabled in settings. Image retrieval requires image input and the corresponding model capability.
Hypothetical drill sample. A franchisor head office legal team submits a draft sentence for review: "According to the filing materials, the brand's two stores one year condition is satisfied, and the franchisee obtains all information disclosure documents on the signing date." The source text supplied for comparison reads: "The filing materials list states: the number of directly operated stores is pending review by the commerce liaison; information disclosure documents are delivered separately after submission through the commerce department system; the contract ledger records only signed contracts." The subject is the franchisor head office; the objects are the filing materials and disclosure documents; the status is pending review and pending submission; the date and quantity scope are not stated. The draft sentence turns "pending review" into "satisfied" and turns "delivered separately after submission" into "obtained on the signing date." Both statements exceed what the source text supports.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration or check item | Setting on this page | Basis and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Associated knowledge bases | Select only the filing materials base and the contract ledger base that share the same vector model | The document states that only bases with the same vector model can be associated together; verify the identifier first and exclude non-matching bases |
| Search mode | Hypothetical trial starting point is hybrid search | Clause numbers and clause names suit full-text recall; compare hit results against pure semantic search |
| Minimum relevance | Hypothetical trial starting point is 0.3 | Chosen because the sample question contains an explicit clause name; compare the number of remaining results after filtering against 0.5 |
| Citation cap | Hypothetical trial starting point is 2000 tokens | The sample source text is short; compare against 1000 to see whether disclosure document entries are truncated |
| Result reranking | Enabled per settings, with a rerank model already available | The document states reranked scores are 0-1 and can be used for filtering; compare ordering before and after reranking |
| Question optimisation | Enabled per settings in multi-turn follow-up scenarios | The document states this adds one model call and increases latency; compare the search terms before and after enabling |
Three common errors
- Treating a retrieval hit as an authorisation basis. Error: the draft sentence states "obtains all information disclosure documents on the signing date," while the source text states only "delivered separately after submission." Check: input the draft sentence and the source text, compare the field "time of obtaining"; where the source text does not state obtaining on the signing date, record it as unsupported.
- Writing a pending-review status as completed. Error: the draft sentence states "the two stores one year condition is satisfied," while the source text states "the number of directly operated stores is pending review." Check: compare the value of the same field; "pending review" and "satisfied" are different statuses, so the statement is judged to exceed the source text.
- Treating an empty citation array as an error. Error: a downstream step halts because the citation length is zero. Check: input the paper citation array [] and compare whether the downstream design continues to accept it; the document states the output path still completes when the array is empty.
How to verify the setup
- Input the hypothetical sample source text and draft sentence above, and compare the two statements in the draft sentence against the corresponding fields in the source text. The condition is satisfied only when the draft sentence is changed to "the number of directly operated stores is pending review" and "disclosure documents are delivered separately after submission through the system."
- Input the identifiers of two bases sharing the same vector model and the identifier of one base with a different vector model, then compare the association result. The condition is satisfied only when the non-matching base is excluded and the matching bases are retained. Cross-model retrieval is not executed to compare missed recalls.
- Input the paper citation array [] and compare the downstream acceptance design. The condition is satisfied only when the downstream step continues to run and records the empty citation. This check does not claim that a fictional rule search necessarily returns an empty array.
Signing, reaching cooperation and contract effectiveness are three distinct facts; pending review does not demonstrate a lack of operating authority. Retrieval and form-collected values do not constitute authorisation, and business verification, approval, database writes and external synchronisation each require their own downstream implementation.
