What the documents look like
Settlement and foreign exchange work concerns the collection of funds for orders that have already closed. It does not handle fraud chargebacks, which belong to payment risk control. The records come from the platform settlement center, bank statements, payment institution back ends, and ERP orders, and they update on a weekly or monthly basis. Day-to-day materials include platform settlement statements, exchange rate tables, service fee invoices, and receipt reconciliation tables.
In after-sales question handling, a seller's finance staff member often raises a follow-up about a settlement difference on one transaction, the basis for an exchange rate conversion, or the attribution of a service fee. The answer rests on these materials. Errors in this category produce incorrect profit calculation, deviation in tax filing, or a shortage of funds. Conversation logs and audit therefore need to tie each question and answer to the corresponding settlement material, the session identity, and the run detail, so that a later check is possible.
A practical constraint follows from the document set. The conversation, dialogue, and run detail that an interface returns only show what the system recorded. Reconciliation, retention, and compliance requirements need a complete business solution implemented separately. Retrieval results do not constitute authorization. A form collects values. Business verification, approval, database writes, and external synchronization each need their stated downstream implementation. A business datum that is not returned cannot be presumed to have been retained in full.
Constraints at the conversation logs step
Log retention and business compliance audit are two separate matters. The interface can return a session, a dialogue, and run detail, and those returns describe system records. They do not confirm that reconciliation was completed or that filing was authorized.
Run detail requires the documented setting. Per the official contract, set detail and inspect responseData for module status and the complete result. When detail is false, responseData is not returned, so module status and the complete result cannot be treated as saved on the basis of that response.
Session source matters. When source is api, the history list returns sessions created through the API and does not return sessions from the page. Mixing sources misaligns the log against the business record.
A relevance score is not a category, entity, or permission filter. A similarity setting does not exclude unrelated businesses or unauthorized records. Retrieval is not authorization.
Hypothetical paper test case. A cross-border seller's finance staff member, under session chatId C-2024-10-001 and application appId A-66e29b, raises a follow-up about the service fee amount on line 3 of the October 2024 platform settlement statement. The two source sentences supplied for checking read: "The service fee amount on line 3 of the platform settlement statement 2024-10 is 120.00 USD; the amount on line 3 of the service fee invoice 2024-10 is 120.00 USD." The proposed draft sentence to be judged reads: "This service fee has completed reconciliation and can be used for filing on this basis." The judgment must use the same subject, the same period, and the same field. The materials show only that the two amounts agree. They do not state that reconciliation was completed or that filing was authorized. The proposed sentence is unsupported and cannot be treated as a completed reconciliation or a granted filing authorization.
Configuration and implementation checks
The table below lists documented settings or implementation checks relevant to this feature and the primary task, tied to the sample above. The values are starting points for this hypothetical trial. Each reason states why the value was chosen and what it is compared against. These are not official defaults.
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting value | Reason and comparison object |
|---|---|---|
| appId | A-66e29b | Sample application identifier; compare against the application the material belongs to |
| chatId | C-2024-10-001 | Sample session identifier; compare against the session in the business record |
| dataId | Sample dialogue ID | Locates one question-and-answer round; compare against the run detail return |
| detail | true | Needed to inspect responseData; compare against the return when false |
| source | api | Returns API-created sessions; compare against page sessions to keep them separate |
| loadCustomFeedbacks | true | Reads custom feedback; compare against the return when false |
Three common errors
- Treating a retrieval result as an authorization basis. In the sample, retrieving matching service fee amounts does not support a conclusion that reconciliation was completed or that filing was approved. Retrieval does not perform permission or entity isolation, and a relevance score is not a category, entity, or permission filter.
- Mixing sessions from different entry points. The session with
chatIdC-2024-10-001 and a page session have different sources. Whensourceisapi, page sessions are not returned. Mixing them misaligns the log against the business record. - Presuming that a field not returned was retained. When
detailis false, responseDatais not returned, so module status and the complete result cannot be treated as saved on that basis. Setdetailper the official contract and inspect the actual return.
How to verify the setup
- Input the two source sentences and the proposed draft sentence from the sample. Compare the material fields against the assertion in the draft. The materials show only that the two amounts agree, and do not state that reconciliation was completed or that filing was authorized. The draft sentence is unsupported, and the evidence gap must be recorded. A match on the amount field alone does not satisfy the condition.
- Input
chatIdC-2024-10-001 withsourceset toapi. Compare the returned session list against the business record. If the list does not contain that session, the source or the identifier does not match; check both and retry. A first-item hit is not guaranteed. - Input
detailtrue anddetailfalse in two requests. Compare whetherresponseDataappears. With true, module status and the complete result appear; with false, they do not. When they do not appear, the datum cannot be presumed retained, and the actual observation must be recorded.
These checks concern the primary task of the conversation logs and audit step. Reconciliation, retention, and compliance requirements remain with the complete business solution implemented separately. The presence of a log does not amount to a completed compliance audit.
