What the documents look like
In platform multi-store matrix management, brand e-commerce leads, channel operations staff, and distributor e-commerce teams work from platform merchant backends, ERP channel pricing, brand anti-counterfeiting systems, and distributor reports. Compared with single-store advertising, this category places more weight on cross-store authorization and price order. At the copy drafting step, whether a promotional sentence can enter a product detail page or a marketing asset depends on whether store authorization lists, price control tables, cross-territory complaint forms, or monthly sales reports contain source text that supports it. Material update frequency is daily and monthly. This page does not infer batch synchronization, real-time, or transaction-triggered mechanisms from that frequency.
For citation tracing, the practical question is narrower than general retrieval quality. A retrieved passage shows that a document was recalled. It does not show that the drafting subject holds authorization, that a price claim is accurate, or that a complaint has been resolved. The drafting team needs to compare each promotional point against the subject, period, and field recorded in the source material, and to record gaps where the material is silent.
Constraints at the citation tracing step
The knowledge base search node selects one or more knowledge bases that share the same vector model as the search scope. Its output is an array of cited content, and the array length can be zero. When nothing is found, the output path still runs. Retrieved results pass through similarity filtering and a citation cap measured in tokens. The minimum relevance value is a filter threshold and takes effect only under semantic retrieval or when result reranking is used. It does not perform permission or entity isolation, and retrieval itself does not constitute authorization. Hybrid retrieval merges multiple result paths through RRF. Reranking requires a rerank model and must be enabled by configuration. Image retrieval requires image input and matching model capability.
A hypothetical paper exercise sample. The source text supplied for comparison is: "Store authorization list (March 2025 version) records that Store A and Store B are authorized distribution stores, with authorization valid through 31 December 2025." "Price control table (March 2025 version) records that Model A has a suggested retail price of 199 yuan and a minimum transaction price of 179 yuan." "Cross-territory complaint form (number C-2025-014) records that the complained party is an unauthorized online store, and the handling status is pending verification." One draft sentence to be assessed is: "This store is an officially authorized brand store, Model A is the lowest price across the entire network at 179 yuan, and counterfeit goods are compensated tenfold." The handover request is: "Please determine from the above materials whether this draft sentence can be used directly on the Store B product detail page."
Two boundaries follow from this sample. First, the complaint form status is pending verification, so the tenfold compensation claim has no supporting field in the supplied material and remains unsupported. Second, the request asks about Store B specifically. Whether Store B appears in the authorization list and whether the authorization period covers the intended publication date must be checked against the source text; any part not stated there is an evidence gap.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration or check item | Purpose on this page | How it is judged |
|---|---|---|
| Associated knowledge bases | Select the libraries holding the store authorization list, price control table, cross-territory complaint form, and monthly sales report | Confirm the vector model identifier is the same across libraries; exclude any library that does not match and do not run cross-model retrieval comparisons |
| Citation cap | Control the maximum tokens of content cited per search | For this hypothetical exercise, the starting value is set to cover the source text of the three materials above; compare it with the actual token length of those materials and adjust |
| Minimum relevance | Filter low-relevance results | For this hypothetical exercise, the starting value is set to a middle value; compare it item by item with the citations returned for the draft sentence |
| Search mode and reranking | Determine the recall paths | Confirm whether a rerank model exists and is enabled by configuration; when it is not enabled, check against the actual paths in use |
| Citation output handoff | Pass the citation array to the drafting or review step | Check that the output array corresponds item by item with the draft sentence, and that an empty array is handled as an empty array |
Three common errors
- Treating a retrieval hit as proof of authorization. When retrieval returns the source text of the store authorization list, that only shows the material was recalled. Whether Store B falls within the authorized scope, and whether the authorization covers what the draft sentence states, still requires manual comparison against the subject, period, and fields in the source text.
- Treating minimum relevance as a permission or entity filter. That value is a filter threshold. It cannot be used to conclude that records of unauthorized stores have been excluded, and it cannot be used to conclude that retrieved results have passed business review.
- Treating a pending-verification status as an established fact. The cross-territory complaint form has handling status pending verification. The tenfold compensation claim in the draft sentence has no corresponding material support, so it is unsupported; it does not constitute a negative conclusion about another party's conduct.
How to verify the setup
- Input the three source passages and the draft sentence, and check store identity, price scope and compensation separately. The list supports Store B as an authorized dealer; the extra claim of official brand status needs separate evidence. The minimum transaction price of CNY179 is a price-control field and does not establish a comparison across all online sellers. The claims of the lowest price across the web and tenfold compensation are not supported by the supplied materials.
- Input the handover request and compare whether Store B appears in the source text of the authorization list. The authorization subject condition is satisfied when Store B is in the authorization list and the authorization period covers the intended publication period. Whether the period covers the intended publication date must be compared against the dates in the source text; anything not stated there is recorded as an evidence gap.
- Input an explicit paper empty citation array [] and check whether the downstream drafting or review step continues with the empty array. The condition is satisfied when the downstream step accepts the empty array and marks the absence of sources. If the downstream design stops when no source exists, record that design; do not claim that a hypothetical rule-based search necessarily returns an empty array.
