Complaints and official replies: multi-turn prompts for copy drafting

Review multi-turn prompts for copy drafting in Complaints and official replies. Check input mappings, source evidence and failure handling before use.

What the documents look like

Complaint and regulatory reply copy drafting draws on the 12315 platform, platform complaint centers, customer service chats, and order systems. The output is addressed to a platform or a regulatory body. The difficulty at this step is that the draft must organize order evidence, chat records, and rectification statements into text that can be checked line by line, while the source material is scattered across several systems and refreshed case by case rather than on a fixed schedule.

Multi-turn prompts do two jobs here. First, they gather the checkable content of complaint tickets, regulatory inquiry letters, order evidence, and rectification reports into a drafting basis. Second, they keep the subject, period, and fields of the same case consistent across follow-up questions. The prompt must state the material scope, the answering task, and the handling of missing evidence, so the model does not fill in business facts on its own.

Constraints at the multi-turn prompts step

History records determine which turns are carried into a follow-up. A new session and a continued session take different inputs, so checking what was actually carried in is more reliable than checking the number of turns shown in the interface. Question optimization applies when a knowledge base is used in continuous conversation, to resolve references and expand questions; short questions are not all suited to it. Model and length settings must be checked against context capacity and reply limits, because long material combined with follow-ups can exceed the referenceable length of a single request. Reply format follows the downstream consumer; when json_schema is selected, the corresponding format requirement must be filled in and the returned structure verified.

Hypothetical drill sample. Material text one: "This store received order A-20250312-07 on March 12, 2025; the product is a stainless steel vacuum flask, quantity 2." Material text two: "Customer service chat records show the buyer raised a missing lid sealing ring on March 15, 2025, and customer service replied the same day that a replacement shipment was possible." Material text three: "The rectification report draft states: the buyer was contacted by phone about the replacement arrangement, and the shipment has not yet been sent." Draft sentence to be judged: "This store completed the replacement shipment on March 15, 2025 and obtained the buyer's acceptance." Basis for judgment: material two records only that customer service replied the same day that a replacement was possible, and material three states the shipment has not been sent. Neither "completed the replacement shipment" nor "obtained acceptance" is supported, so the sentence must be changed to pending verification.

Configuration and implementation checks

Configuration itemHypothetical starting point for this drillReason for the choice and comparison method
AI modelA model that supports multimodal recognition is selectedOrder screenshots must be read; compare with a model that does not support multimodal input to see whether the option appears in the dialog
Memory turnsHypothetical starting point 4The sample has three rounds of material and all follow-ups must be covered; compare with 2 to see whether the first-round order information is lost
Reply limitHypothetical starting point 800The rectification reply must state the evidence fully; compare with 400 to see whether evidence citations are truncated
TemperatureHypothetical starting point lowThe draft must restate the material stably; compare with a higher value to see whether two outputs from the same material agree
Reply formatDefaultThis sample has no downstream structured-read requirement
Multimodal recognitionImage recognition onOrder screenshots must be recognized; when the model does not support it, the item is not shown

These values are hypothetical starting points for this drill, not official defaults. For continuous conversation over a knowledge base, the same-vector-model requirement constrains only the libraries that can be associated together; it does not extend to business registration sites or other external systems.

Three common errors

  1. Writing a completion state that the material does not record. The draft sentence "completed the replacement shipment and obtained the buyer's acceptance" conflicts with material three, "the shipment has not yet been sent." Check: input material two, material three, and the draft sentence; compare the status value of the replacement field. If the material reads "not yet sent" and the draft sentence reads "completed," the check fails.
  2. Treating a pending review as a lack of operating authority. If a ticket shows "rectification reply pending review," a statement such as "this store has no right to submit" cannot be drawn from it. Check: input that status field and the draft sentence; compare whether a permission conclusion appears. If it appears, the check fails.
  3. Treating a similarity score as a permission or entity filter. A retrieval score does not separate unrelated businesses or unauthorized records. Check: input one low-score citation and one unauthorized citation; compare whether either is treated as citable evidence. If either is treated that way, the check fails.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input material two, material three, and the draft sentence; compare the replacement field status with the wording of the draft sentence. The condition is met only when the sentence is changed to "the replacement arrangement has been communicated, and the shipment status is pending verification."
  2. Input a hypothetical empty citation list []; compare whether the downstream node is designed to accept an empty result. The condition is met only when no fabricated citation content appears.
  3. Input three follow-up turns for the same case; compare the subject, period, and fields carried into each turn. The condition is not met if any cross-case mixing appears.

Retrieval checks record only the hits and failure branches actually observed; they do not guarantee a first hit or full recall. Libraries using different vector models cannot be associated together; verify the identifier first and exclude those that do not match. Image retrieval requires a corresponding image input and model capability, and reranking requires a model and must be enabled by its setting. A workflow that reaches an interactive node returns directly, and internal runtime fields such as entryNodeIds are not returned.
