What the documents look like
Producer export tax refund replaces the separate calculation used by trading companies with a combined treatment: domestic sales tax offsets are netted against the refundable amount. That combined structure means any tax figure, refund rate or goods attribute appearing in product and marketing copy has to trace back to the declaration detail schedule, the export contract, the sales subsidiary ledger and the customs export declaration. Copy drafting works with the fields and statuses those four documents already record.
The four documents are the monthly declaration detail schedule, the export contract, the sales subsidiary ledger and the customs export declaration. This category processes them monthly, and the version of the monthly materials can change from period to period. Citation tracing therefore requires every business statement in a draft to point to a specific document, a specific field and a specific period, rather than to the category as a whole.
Constraints at the citation tracing step
Hypothetical paper exercise sample. The monthly materials of an export producer contain the following. The export contract states: "Model A goods, quantity 1,200 units, FOB basis per the contract annex." The customs export declaration states: "Model A, quantity 1,200 units, transaction term FOB." The sales subsidiary ledger states: "Model A, current period export revenue recognized, quantity 1,200 units." The declaration detail schedule states: "Model A, current period declared for exemption, offset and refund, quantity 1,200 units." The draft sentence to be assessed is: "The enterprise exported 1,200 units of Model A goods this period, and all of it has completed the exemption, offset and refund declaration."
Checking the four materials, the model and quantity agree across all of them, so the quantity statement is supported. The phrase "has completed the exemption, offset and refund declaration" must be compared against the declaration status field of the declaration detail schedule. The sample does not record the value of that field, so this part is unsupported and cannot be judged complete. Citation tracing requires separating the supported part from the part awaiting verification; agreement on quantity does not establish the declaration status.
Retrieval output feeds a downstream answer step as an array whose length may be zero. A relevance score filters low-relevance results only in semantic search or when reranking is used; it is not a category, entity or permission filter, and it does not exclude unrelated businesses or unauthorized records. Retrieval is not authorization. Forms collect values, and business verification, approval, database writes and external synchronization each need their stated downstream implementation.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration or check item | Hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Reason and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Associated knowledge bases | Select knowledge bases sharing the same vector model | The documented condition is that only knowledge bases with the same vector model can be associated together; verify the identifier first and exclude those that do not match |
| Search mode | Hybrid search | Model and quantity statements suit keyword hits, while natural-language statements suit semantic recall; observe each with its own sample |
| Citation limit | Hypothetical starting point set to cover the summaries of the four materials in tokens | The documented control is by tokens; compare against the summary length of the sample materials and adjust |
| Minimum relevance | Hypothetical starting point set to a medium threshold | The documented condition is that this value takes effect only in semantic search or with reranking; observe the filtering effect on the sample draft sentence |
| Result reranking | Enabled per configuration | Reranking requires a model and must be enabled by configuration; compare the rerank score against the sample source text |
| Citation handoff | Retrieval output passed to the answer step | The output is an array whose length may be zero; use an empty-array sample to check whether the downstream path runs through |
Three common errors
- Treating matching quantity as matching declaration status. The input is the model and quantity in the four materials; the comparison object is the declaration status field of the declaration detail schedule; the sample does not record that field, so the observable result is that quantity is supported while status remains to be verified.
- Treating a retrieval hit as an authorization pass. The input is the citation array returned by retrieval; the comparison object is the draft sentence; the observable result is that the citation content supplies source text only, not an approval or permission conclusion.
- Treating an empty citation array as a workflow error. The input is the explicit paper input []; the comparison object is the downstream handoff design; the observable result is that the documented length may be zero and the output path runs through, so the downstream handling of an empty array needs checking.
How to verify the setup
- Input the four source materials and the draft sentence from the hypothetical sample, compare the quantity statement in the draft against the model and quantity fields of the materials, and observe that the quantity statement traces to specific materials while the declaration status part is marked unsupported.
- Input the explicit paper retrieval output [] and compare whether the downstream handoff step runs through; observe that an empty array does not break the path, without claiming that a fictional rule search necessarily returns [].
- Input two knowledge base identifiers sharing the same vector model and one identifier with a different vector model, compare the associable scope, and observe that the different vector model is excluded; record the actual observation without running a cross-model retrieval to compare missed recall.
This page addresses only producer export tax refund, product and marketing copy drafting, and citation tracing. Whether a specific promotional sentence in product copy is supported by the materials cannot be converted into an enterprise identity certification tutorial.
