What the documents look like
Receiving and putaway handles the first accounting-versus-physical confirmation of goods entering a warehouse. The data comes from the WMS, ERP purchasing, supplier delivery notes, and barcode scanning. The daily documents are purchase arrival orders, inbound acceptance records, putaway tasks, and discrepancy reports. This page covers one task: drafting product and marketing copy. The material used for drafting is the set of fields recorded in those arrival and acceptance documents.
The update frequency is per batch and daily. That frequency means copy checking must bind to a specific batch. The same product can differ across arrival batches in quantity, status, and acceptance conclusion. A drafted sentence may cite only fields already confirmed for one batch. A sentence that generalizes beyond a single batch reaches into fields the arrival documents do not carry.
Constraints at the interactive forms step
The form input node is a user interaction node. When it triggers, the conversation enters an interaction state, the workflow state is recorded, and execution waits until the user completes the interaction. After the user fills the required information and submits, the node collects the submitted form values and passes them to later nodes. The node itself does not act as a business database. The user selection node is also a user interaction node. It enters the interaction state in the same way and, once the user makes a choice, evaluates that choice and executes the "yes" branch.
Field validation, business approval, write-back, and batch operations need to be implemented in an external system or in later nodes. Retrieval and similarity scores affect recall ordering only. They do not constitute permission or entity isolation, and a retrieval action does not produce authorization.
Hypothetical paper exercise sample. The source material reads: "Purchase arrival order PO-2024-0517, supplier delivery note SD-0517, arrived product Type A storage box, arrival quantity 200 units, receiving clerk acceptance record actual received 200 units, acceptance conclusion qualified, acceptance date 17 May 2024." The drafted sentence to be judged is: "Type A storage box arrived in this batch at 200 units and passed acceptance." This sentence shares the same subject, the same batch, and the same fields as the material; the quantity and the conclusion both have a corresponding entry.
Two counter-cases use the same material. If the drafted sentence reads "Type A storage box has sufficient stock and stable long-term supply," the material states no total stock figure and no supply period, so the statement is unsupported. If the drafted sentence reads "Type A storage box failed acceptance," the material states the acceptance conclusion as qualified, which is a mutually exclusive value in the same field, so the statement is contradictory.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Hypothetical trial starting point for this page | Reason for the choice and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Required fields on the form input node | Product name, batch number, quantity, acceptance conclusion | These four fields map to the four fields in the source material; if any is missing, the drafted sentence cannot be judged |
| User selection branches | Two branches, yes and no | The document states the node executes a branch based on the user choice; used here to confirm whether the drafted sentence is adopted |
| Interaction state wait | Wait for submission after the node triggers | The document states the state is recorded and the workflow waits for interaction; no submission-count control is documented |
| Field validation in later nodes | Compare quantity and conclusion | Validation is implemented in later nodes; the node itself does not write to a database |
| Retrieval scope | Material for this batch | Retrieval does not carry permission isolation; the scope is set by human input |
Three common errors
- Treating "acceptance conclusion qualified" and "sufficient stock" as the same field. The input is the drafted sentence "sufficient stock"; the comparison object is the material entry "acceptance conclusion qualified"; the material states no total stock figure; the observable result is that the statement is unsupported and further material is required.
- Treating a user selection branch as approval. The input is the user choice "yes"; the comparison object is an approval record; the observable result is that branch execution and completed approval are two separate facts, and approval needs an external implementation.
- Treating a similarity score as a permission filter. The input is the ordering returned by retrieval; the comparison object is the authorized scope; the observable result is that ordering does not exclude unauthorized records, and permissions must be checked separately.
How to verify the setup
- Verification one. Input the source material above together with the drafted sentence "Type A storage box arrived in this batch at 200 units and passed acceptance." Compare the quantity and conclusion fields. The condition is satisfied when all four fields agree and the batch is the same, in which case the sentence is judged to have material support.
- Verification two. Input the drafted sentence "Type A storage box failed acceptance." Compare it against the material acceptance conclusion "qualified." The two are mutually exclusive values in the same field. The condition is satisfied when the sentence is judged contradictory.
- Verification three. Input an empty result
[]. Compare against the downstream node design and observe whether it handles the case as unsupported. The condition is satisfied when the downstream node produces no definite conclusion. These are paper checks and were not actually executed.
The public technical facts checked for this page, used to identify relevant content in the documents: the form input node collects submitted information and passes it to later nodes, and does not itself carry business database functions; required-information checking lists the information this task cannot do without and tests the behavior with a missing item and with the item supplied; the user selection node executes a branch based on the user choice and is not written as a personnel directory or business data selector; the interaction state records the workflow state after the node triggers and waits for interaction, then continues execution once interaction completes; field validation, business approval, write-back, and batch operations are implemented in an external system or in later nodes as needed.
