Group-buy leader operations: citation tracing for copy drafting

Review citation tracing for copy drafting in Group-buy leader operations. Check document scope, failure paths and source evidence through controlled tests.

What the documents look like

Group-buy leader operations manage community nodes and commission, and do not perform cold-chain quality inspection. The daily documents for this category are leader agreements, commission tables, pickup lists and community announcements. The update frequency given for this category is daily or per group. Product and marketing copy drafting draws checkable wording from these materials. A leader agreement may state the scope of cooperation and settlement conditions. A commission table may state the commission base and rate. A pickup list may state items and quantities. A community announcement may state the status of an activity. When a promotional sentence in a draft touches price, gifts, timing or authorization, the sentence is checked line by line against the corresponding source text. Fields the material does not state remain unknown. The presence of online certification or electronic contracts in other categories does not establish that this category has or lacks the same fields.

A hypothetical paper exercise sample is used below. The leader agreement text states: "This agreement takes effect on the date both parties sign, and is valid from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025." The commission table text states: "Fresh category is commissioned at 5% of the order's actual received amount." One draft sentence to be judged is: "This group's fresh products are commissioned long-term at 5% of the received amount, effective immediately after the agreement is signed." The comparison objects are the agreement and the commission table above. The period is the 2025 calendar year. The fields are the agreement's effective condition, its validity period, and the commission rate. The agreement text does not state "long-term" or "immediately." The commission table does not state an applicable period. The words "long-term" and "immediately" in the draft sentence are not supported. The "5%" and the agreement's effective condition each need to be checked against their own field. A pending review does not show a lack of operating permission. Signing, reaching cooperation and contract effectiveness are three distinct facts.

Constraints at the citation tracing step

The dataset search node outputs cited content as an array, and the length may be zero. An empty array means the output path still runs; it does not mean the workflow has errored and stopped. The node can select one or more knowledge bases that use the same vector model. Bases with different vector models cannot be associated together; check the vector model identifier first and exclude those that do not match. The minimum relevance value is a filter threshold and only takes effect under semantic retrieval or result reranking. It does not perform permission or entity isolation. RRF is the fusion step for hybrid retrieval results and is not written as a separate switch that can be turned on. Image retrieval requires the corresponding image input and model capability. Reranking requires a rerank model and must be enabled in settings. The optional paths shown in the overall document flow diagram do not mean every request executes all of them.

For the draft sentence above, the check is whether the cited content contains source sentences matching the sample subject, period and field. If no such sentence appears, record it as not retrieved. Do not infer that access was denied or that the record does not exist. The minimum relevance score is not a category, entity or permission filter, and a similarity setting does not exclude unrelated businesses or unauthorized records. Retrieval is not authorization. Forms collect values; business verification, approval, database writes and external synchronization need their stated downstream implementation. Scheduled triggers and hidden controls are not assumed.

Configuration and implementation checks

Configuration itemRelevant setting or check on this pageRelation to the sample
Associated knowledge basesSelect one or more knowledge bases with the same vector modelCheck whether the vector model identifiers of the base holding the agreement and the base holding the commission table match
Citation limitEach search cites at most n tokens of contentFor this hypothetical exercise the starting value is set to 2000 tokens, because the sample source text is short and eases sentence-by-sentence comparison; compare with the displayed value and adjust
Minimum relevanceA 0-1 value, effective only under semantic retrieval or result rerankingFor this hypothetical exercise the starting value is set to 0.5, because the sample question is explicit; compare against each returned cited item
Search modeSemantic retrieval, full-text retrieval or hybrid retrievalThe sample contains "5%" and dates, so full-text retrieval or hybrid retrieval can be selected
Result rerankingRequires a rerank model and must be enabled in settingsWhen enabled, the rerank score assists ordering; the score does not replace checking the source text
Cited content outputArray format, length may be zeroUse the paper input [] to check the downstream handling design; do not claim that a fictional rule search must return an empty array

The token figure above is a hypothetical exercise starting value with a stated reason, not an official default. The relevance figure is likewise a hypothetical exercise starting value. Neither is a documented default, limit or unit.

Three common errors

  1. Treating minimum relevance as a permission or entity filter. Input: the sample draft sentence and the two knowledge bases. Comparison: the returned cited content against the agreement and commission table source text. Observable result: whether the cited content contains source sentences matching the sample subject, period and field. If none appears, record it as not retrieved; do not infer denied access or a nonexistent record.
  2. Forcing knowledge bases with different vector models into one association. Input: the vector model identifiers of the agreement base and the commission table base. Comparison: whether the two identifiers are the same. Observable result: only matching identifiers may be associated together; when they differ, exclude the non-matching base and record it, and do not run a cross-model search to compare missed recalls.
  3. Treating a pending review or a quotation validity period as an effective authorization. Input: the sample agreement text and the draft sentence. Comparison: whether "takes effect on the date both parties sign" and "effective immediately after the agreement is signed" are the same field with the same value. Observable result: the agreement text does not write "immediately," so that wording is not supported; a quotation validity period does not indicate a supply period, and a pending review does not show a lack of operating permission.

How to verify the setup

  1. Citation source check. Input: the sample draft sentence "This group's fresh products are commissioned long-term at 5% of the received amount, effective immediately after the agreement is signed." Comparison: the leader agreement source text and the commission table source text. Expected observation: list, sentence by sentence, the source location for each of "long-term," "immediately" and "5%"; mark fields with no corresponding source text as not supported or to be verified, and do not mark them as negated or conflicting. The material needed for this check must sit inside a target retrieval scope the operator has access to, or in an explicit manual input; when missing, record the gap.
  2. Empty citation handling check. Input: the paper input []. Comparison: the design of the downstream answer step. Expected observation: the downstream step can accept an empty array without erroring and stopping. Do not claim that a fictional rule search will certainly return [].
  3. Material timeliness check. Input: the current version and a historical version of the leader agreement. Comparison: the value of the same field. Expected observation: record a contradiction only when the same field shows clearly mutually exclusive values; when only evidence of a related stage exists, record it as to be verified. Signing, reaching cooperation and contract effectiveness remain three distinct facts, and a pending review is not an approval.
