What the documents look like
For document comparison in Warehouse picking and packing, this page examines FastGPT access controls. Inspect documents by picking, recheck and packing task while preserving wave, parcel and consumables identities. The examples are hypothetical.
Constraints at the access controls step
A comparison exercise contains a wave pick list, recheck note and consumables attachment. Pickers need the wave’s goods, reviewers need corresponding records, and a packing supervisor checks material conditions. Test actual accounts against each resource and operation. Job labels describe tasks without configuring roles; one wave also does not open every buyer address. Preserve wave and parcel identity rather than assigning equivalent scope to similarly named records.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Permission check | Warehouse-document relationship | Acceptance object |
|---|---|---|
| Task allocation | Picking, recheck and packing needs | Actual accounts and operations |
| Label boundary | Separate product lists and addresses | Full response with restricted address |
| Wave correspondence | Wave, parcel and recheck record | Matching names do not match scope |
| External device | Inspect WMS, labels and weighing separately | Interface versus resource tests |
| Work result | Reading scans or dispatches nothing | Actual records and responsibility |
Documented conditions
| Documented item / implementation check | Condition |
|---|---|
Team roles | Inspect roles for the actual member identity. |
Resource permissions | Inspect reading, editing and management by resource. |
Document classification | Classification and tags do not replace authorization. |
External-system permissions | Verify external-interface authentication separately. |
Per-account validation | Test the same source with authorized and unauthorized accounts. |
Three common errors
- If picker or reviewer names become grants, inspect actual account-resource operations. The owner confirms missing correspondence; a signature establishes no system read.
- If a product-list identity receives complete label addresses or another wave, retain full response. Wave or warehouse grouping cannot enlarge access.
- If WMS or label connectivity grants every internal source, inspect external identity and FastGPT rights separately. Readable rechecks prove neither dispatch nor suitable packing.
How to verify the setup
Ask picking, recheck, packing and unrelated-wave identities about the same goods and parcel, recording originals, operations and denials. Correct access with another wave’s review needs input and version checks rather than wider rights. Retest accounts after adding material or weighing sources, leaving absent evidence unresolved. Technical reading scans, packs, dispatches and compensates nothing. Actual work needs WMS, device or responsible records; a summarized document does not establish completed execution.
