Livestream violation appeals: context limits for document comparison

Review context limits for document comparison in Livestream violation appeals. Check input mappings, source evidence and failure handling before use.

What the documents look like

Livestream violation appeals respond to penalties that have already been issued. The materials come from the platform violation center, livestream replays, customer service records and the product qualification library. A single appeal typically requires checking the penalty target and violation segment named in the violation notice, the spoken or displayed content in the replay, the validity scope of the product qualification file, and the factual statements in the appeal explanation. These materials update irregularly and form a separate group for each violation. Whether the materials are complete inside the appeal window directly determines whether the comparison can be completed.

This page addresses the context and token step of contract and transaction material comparison: when the violation notice, replay record, qualification file and appeal explanation are placed into one comparison request, how to control the length of content sent to the model, the number of history turns, the citation limit and the reply length, so that the comparison basis is not truncated and unrelated materials are not pushed into the context.

Constraints at the context limits step

The comparison request input is assembled from several materials, and a single material may contain timestamps, product names, penalty clause numbers and screenshot descriptions. When the citation limit is controlled by tokens, the actual content sent in must be checked against the length of a single segment and the question sample to see whether truncation occurred. The model maximum context and the reply limit are two different quantities: the reply limit restricts output length and cannot be used as the complete context window.

The same comparison question produces different model input under empty history and under history, so the two inputs must be compared to rule out context differences. When a fixed reply format carries the comparison conclusion, field completeness and parse success must be verified rather than checking text length alone. Semantic recall and relevance affect only the ordering and filtering of candidate content and do not carry permission or entity isolation; whether retrieval libraries can be associated together depends on whether the vector model identifier is the same, and the same-model requirement cannot be extended to external systems.

Hypothetical paper exercise sample: the material text reads "The violation notice states: the penalty target is Store A, the violation segment is the livestream replay from 20:15 to 20:18 on 10 May 2024, and the violation reason is that the product qualification was not shown in the spoken content. The product qualification file states: qualification number Z-2024-0510, applicable product is Product B, valid until 31 December 2024. The appeal explanation draft writes: this store displayed all qualifications of Product B during the livestream on 10 May 2024." The sentence to be judged is "this store displayed all qualifications of Product B during the livestream on 10 May 2024." Whether this sentence matches the replay record and the qualification file in the same subject, the same period and the same field must be checked item by item in the comparison request; whether the replay actually displayed the qualification is an unstated fact and remains pending verification.

Configuration and implementation checks

Configuration itemHypothetical starting point for this exerciseReason and comparison object
AI modelChoose a model that supports the required context lengthCheck the maximum context against the total material length
Memory turnsSet to 0 turnsCompare with the same question under history input to rule out context differences
Reply limitKeep enough length to state the basis and the handling actionCompare with the number of fields required by the draft sentence to avoid a truncated conclusion
Citation limitSet by token to cover the key segments of the sample materialsCompare with single-segment material length to check whether truncation occurred
Reply formatSelect json_schema and fill in the field requirementsCompare with the fields required by the comparison conclusion and verify parse success
TemperatureKeep the default low settingCompare with the stable-output requirement of a rule-clear scenario

These values are hypothetical starting points for this exercise, not official defaults. The citation limit uses the token unit described in the documentation and is not converted into an item count. The thinking budget belongs to the thinking configuration and cannot be moved to serve as the citation token limit.

Three common errors

  1. Treating the reply limit as the complete context window. Input is a long replay record plus a qualification file; the comparison object is the model maximum context; the observable result is that the model still outputs a conclusion after the material was truncated. Check method: compare the length of the content sent in with the maximum context and confirm whether truncation occurred.
  2. Mixing empty history and history input in the same comparison. Input is the same draft sentence under two history conditions; the comparison object is the content sent in both times; the observable result is inconsistent conclusions. Check method: fix the memory turns and rerun, then compare the input differences.
  3. Treating a semantic recall score as a permission or entity filter. Input is cross-store material; the comparison object is the material subject identifier; the observable result is that an unrelated subject enters the candidate set. Check method: check the vector model identifier and the material subject, exclude non-matching items and record the actual observation.

How to verify the setup

  • Verification one: input the violation notice text, the qualification file text and the draft sentence from the hypothetical sample, compare whether the three agree on subject, period and field, and observe that the qualification display claimed by the draft sentence has no corresponding record in the replay record. When this condition is met, the result is judged as pending verification and not as a contradiction.
  • Verification two: input the same draft sentence under a memory-turns setting of 0 and under a history setting, compare the material content sent to the model in both requests, and observe that the two inputs are identical. When this condition is met, the influence of history differences is ruled out.
  • Verification three: input an empty-result carrying scenario, use the explicit paper input [] to check the downstream node design, compare how the downstream handles an empty citation, and observe that the downstream carries the empty citation as designed without claiming that a fictional rule retrieval will necessarily return []. Libraries under different models cannot be associated together; check the identifier first, exclude non-matching items and record the actual observation.
