Group-buy presale orders: tool calls for document comparison

Review tool calls for document comparison in Group-buy presale orders. Check document scope, failure paths and source evidence through controlled tests.

What the documents look like

Presale group buying collects orders first and organizes procurement and fulfillment afterward. The comparison task at this stage works across four document types: the presale product table, the group-order result, the procurement plan, and the cut-off notice. These materials update by day or by session, and the comparison must align the committed terms for one product with the corresponding order and procurement records around the cut-off point.

The party, product object, quantity unit, price basis, validity period, and authorization status sit in different documents. A tool call node has to connect document retrieval, plugin parameters, and human review before anyone can judge whether a proposed sentence or handover request has support. The category differs from leader relationship operations because the core sequence is order collection followed by procurement and fulfillment, and the consequences of error include stock-out refunds, fulfillment delay, and leader complaints.

Constraints at the tool calls step

A tool description tells the model what the tool does, and the model uses context semantics to decide whether to call it. Tool parameters include a parameter description and a required flag. When no suitable required parameter exists, the model may not call the tool, and interaction can guide the user to supply the parameter. A parameter description explains meaning and does not guarantee execution. After parameters are completed, the actual request content still needs review.

In advanced orchestration, available tools connect to the tool call module, and testing with a small number of tools first is recommended. The tool call termination node can be attached after a tool; when the workflow reaches it, the current tool call ends, no other tools are called, and the AI does not summarize the tool result. Retrieval and similarity scores do not carry permission or entity isolation. Libraries using different vector models cannot be associated together; identifiers must be checked first and non-matching items excluded.

Hypothetical paper exercise. Source text one: "Party A, a named platform, and Party B, a named supplier, agree on presale supply of 'spring bamboo shoots, 3-jin pack,' with the unit price settled according to the group-order result on the cut-off date, and the supply period from 1 April 2025 to 30 April 2025." Source text two: "The cut-off notice dated 12 April states that the group-order quantity for spring bamboo shoots, 3-jin pack, is 1,200 units for this session; the procurement plan was generated the same day and its status is pending review." Proposed sentence for judgment: "Party B completed all supply of spring bamboo shoots, 3-jin pack, on 12 April." Party, object, period, and field values all require item-by-item comparison. A pending-review status does not show that supply was completed.

The hypothetical starting point for this page is one tool call node connected to a material retrieval plugin and one connected to a contract field comparison plugin. This starting point is chosen because the sample involves only two source texts and one proposed sentence, and it needs comparison with the call record produced when only one tool is connected.

Three common errors

  1. Treating a parameter description as an execution guarantee. The description only explains what the parameter means. When a required parameter is missing, the model may not call the tool; interaction can complete the parameter and then the actual request is checked. Inferring that comparison already ran from the parameter description is not supported.
  2. Treating pending-review status as completion. In the sample, the procurement plan status is pending review while the proposed sentence states that all supply was completed. Both refer to the same party, the same period, and the same field, and the values are mutually exclusive, so the proposed sentence is unsupported.
  3. Treating a retrieval hit as authorization. A retrieved material only shows that the text exists. It does not show operation permission or business execution. Authorization status requires a separate system implementation to check.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input source text one, source text two, and the proposed sentence. Compare "completed all supply" in the proposed sentence with the pending-review status of the procurement plan. Observe whether the output identifies these as mutually exclusive values in the same field. If the output reports unsupported or pending verification, the condition is met.
  2. Input source text one and compare the supply period "1 April 2025 to 30 April 2025" with the date "12 April" in the proposed sentence. Observe whether the date falls inside the period. If the output places it inside the period while the completion status remains pending verification, the condition is met.
  3. Input the empty-result paper input [] and compare whether downstream nodes handle it according to the empty-input design. Observe whether an unsupported deterministic conclusion appears. If the output records the evidence gap without inventing authorization or effective clauses, the condition is met.

These checks are paper comparisons. They describe what to compare and what observable result would satisfy the condition. They do not report a completed test, approval, refund, or deployment. Where a document field is not provided, the value remains unknown, and a pending request is not approval.
