What the documents look like
Commission settlement happens after a sale closes. The comparison work centers on valid promotion and post-sale commission deduction, so the materials that matter are commission setup records, settlement statements, refund deduction details, and invoices. These materials update on a weekly or monthly rhythm, and a comparison holds only when the same period and the same field are placed side by side. A recurring shape in this category is that the same business entity appears across documents while the field definitions differ: a commission rate written into a creator contract has to be compared with the rate actually settled on a statement, and a deduction amount in refund deduction details has to be matched against an adjustment line on the statement. Context and token settings govern how much of each material fragment enters the model request and how much of the search result is quoted, so a trimmed fragment can drop a field that the comparison depends on.
Constraints at the context limits step
One comparison request can carry more material than a model can reference in a single call. Maximum context is the length of content a model can reference in one request. Reply limit controls how long a single answer may run. These are different settings and one does not substitute for the other. The knowledge-reference limit controls, in tokens, how much content each search may quote; when a single material fragment is long, quoted content can be trimmed, and the question sample has to be checked to confirm whether the decisive fields entered the context intact. History input changes the material range sent to the model, so the same question run with empty history and with history produces different inputs; a comparison should hold the history condition fixed. When a fixed reply format is used, field completeness and successful parsing need verification, and checking text length alone does not confirm structural completeness.
Configuration and implementation checks
Hypothetical drill sample: a creator contract states that the commission rate is fifteen percent of the valid order amount confirmed on the settlement statement. The settlement statement shows a valid order amount of one hundred thousand for the period and commission of fifteen thousand. The refund deduction details show a refunded order amount of ten thousand for the period with a corresponding deduction of one thousand five hundred. The draft sentence awaiting judgment reads: "Commission payable for this period is fifteen thousand; no refund commission deduction is required." The source materials carry the entity, the object, the amount, and the period, while the correspondence between the refund deduction details and the statement adjustment line still needs to be checked.
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting point for this drill | Reason and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum context | The value shown for the selected model | Compare with the total tokens of the materials to confirm the contract, statement, and deduction details can enter together |
| Reply limit | Long enough to state the basis and the handling action | Compare with the number of fields the draft sentence needs; a short limit truncates the deduction explanation |
| Reference limit | Set in tokens to cover the key sentences of the three materials | Compare with the length of each single fragment to confirm the deduction amount is not trimmed away |
| History input | Empty history | Compare with a history-bearing run to exclude history material from interfering with this comparison |
| Reply format | Fixed field structure | Check field completeness and successful parsing, not text length alone |
| Minimum relevance | The threshold that applies under semantic search or rerank | Compare with recalled fragments to confirm the deduction details are not filtered out as low-scoring |
The values in the table are hypothetical starting points for this drill, not official defaults. Minimum relevance is a filter threshold and does not perform permission or entity isolation.
Three common errors
- Treating the reply limit as the full context window. The reply limit controls answer length only; whether material enters depends on maximum context and the reference limit. For a check, input the same material set, compare the token range actually sent to the model against the total material length, and observe whether the decisive fields appear.
- Overlooking the correspondence between refund deduction details and the statement adjustment line. The draft sentence says no refund commission deduction is required, which conflicts with the one thousand five hundred in the deduction details. For a check, place the deduction amount beside the statement adjustment line and observe whether both point to the same refunded order.
- Checking an empty-history sample under history-bearing conditions. History input changes what is sent. For a check, run the same question once with empty history and once with history, compare the two inputs, and observe whether the deduction field is pushed out by history material.
How to verify the setup
- Check one: input the three source passages above (contract, statement, deduction details) together with the draft sentence, and compare the draft phrase "no refund commission deduction is required" against the deduction details entry of one thousand five hundred. If both point to the same refunded order and the amounts are mutually exclusive, the draft sentence is not supported and the evidence gap should be recorded.
- Check two: run the comparison request with empty history and compare the token range actually sent to the model against the total length of the three materials. If the deduction amount field appears in full, the reference limit satisfies this sample; if the field is missing, record the trim position and do not infer that the model necessarily raises an error.
- Check three: run with the fixed reply format and compare returned fields against the required field list. If the deduction amount, refunded order number, and period fields are complete and parsing succeeds, structural carry-through satisfies the sample; if fields are missing, record the missing items and do not assert that parsing necessarily fails.
A pending review status does not demonstrate an absence of operating permission. Signing, reaching cooperation, and contract effectiveness are three distinct facts. Retrieval or a form collecting values does not constitute authorized execution; payment and database writes require a separate downstream implementation. Empty-result carry-through can be checked with an explicit paper input of an empty array against the downstream design, without asserting that a fictional rule search necessarily returns an empty array.
