What the documents look like
For procurement in General import declarations, this page examines FastGPT citation tracing. Manufacturer descriptions, trader supply notes and unresolved origin material retain different source roles. The examples are hypothetical.
Constraints at the citation tracing step
A proposed import procurement packet contains a manufacturer introduction saying it produces connector products, a trader supply note offering connection components for this purchase and a review sheet awaiting origin material. A question about production of the current batch lacks a complete relationship. The introduction concerns a category, the trader note concerns proposed goods and origin evidence is missing. Citations must preserve who states what. Similar categories cannot establish that this factory manufactured these goods, while awaiting material cannot become a negative origin finding for the shipment.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Procurement source check | Proposed material and scope | Evidence action |
|---|---|---|
| Category description | Manufacturer introduction scope | Do not expand into current-batch manufacture. |
| Supply statement | Trader proposed goods | Check goods relationship. |
| Party roles | Manufacturer and trader differ | Inspect actual role evidence. |
| Source gap | Origin material awaited | Distinguish absence from denial. |
| Citation separation | Each party text retains identity | Trace each conclusion to its original. |
Documented conditions
| Documented item / implementation check | Condition |
|---|---|
Associated knowledge bases | Knowledge bases associated with one search node must use the same embedding model. |
Citation output | The output is an array; an empty array can continue. |
Citation input handoff | Inspect citations actually received by the answer step. |
Citation display check | Trace displayed sources to their originals. |
Document-validity check | Inspect source identity and applicable version separately. |
Three common errors
First, category coverage may become actual manufacture of this batch; seek manufacturing or source material linked to the goods. Second, the trader name may become manufacturer identity; inspect party roles and their relationship to the current goods. Third, missing origin material may become definite exclusion of a place; inspect any explicit source wording and distinguish absence from denial. These require goods correspondence, party relationships and evidence-type checks. A company introduction or a source label cannot perform those separate tasks or establish the requested sourcing conclusion.
How to verify the setup
Acceptance should ask which products the manufacturer describes, what the trader offers here and the state of origin material. Preserve proposed supply and awaiting evidence, leaving manufacturing relationship and origin dependent on applicable documents without a qualification or compliance determination. If citations merge manufacturer and trader text, inspect actual identities and wording; empty references cannot establish that no supply relationship exists. Later material still needs goods and batch applicability checked. Trace each conclusion to its own original rather than extending one shipment relationship to every product associated with a party.
