Livestream sample inspections: HTTP integrations for procurement

Review HTTP integrations for procurement in Livestream sample inspections. Check sources, input boundaries, error handling and repeatable test evidence.

What the documents look like

Sample inspection for livestream selling happens before a broadcast. The question is whether a product can be sold and whether it presents well on camera. The working materials are sample evaluation forms, inspection agency reports, supplier qualification documents and prohibited-item lists. These update weekly and per product. In the inventory procurement and supplier records task, the HTTP module retrieves inventory, qualification and inspection conclusions from an external system into the orchestration so later nodes can use them. The external interface address, method and authentication scheme are set by the counterparty's documentation. FastGPT sends a request according to that contract and parses the response. The supplied documents do not describe scheduled triggers or batch synchronization for this task, so no such behavior is assumed.

Because inspection sits before the broadcast, a wrong conclusion about whether a product is sellable reaches the audience directly. The consequence is returns after a failed promotion, a finding of false advertising, or a platform penalty. The HTTP step is where external inventory and qualification data enter the flow, so the request carries the boundary between what the materials state and what a downstream action would require.

Constraints at the HTTP integrations step

The HTTP module can be added repeatedly, is configured manually, and executes when triggered. Params carry path request parameters and are used mostly with GET. Body carries the request body and is used mostly with POST and PUT. Headers carry request headers for special information. All three, and the URL as well, can reference variables through {{}}. Variables come from global variables, system variables and upstream node outputs.

System variables include appId, chatId, responseChatItemId, variables, cTime and histories. The histories variable takes at most 10 records by default and its length cannot be changed. chatId and responseChatItemId do not exist in test mode, so an empty value during debugging is a property of that mode. Return values are extracted with JSON path syntax by configuring a key. When the output type is set to string, the value at that key is converted into a JSON string.

Hypothetical paper exercise: a supplier submits a batch of samples. The material text reads: "Supplier A states on this sample submission form that the batch of vacuum flasks is food-contact-grade stainless steel, the submission date is this Monday, and the quantity is 30 units; the attached inspection agency report number A-01 concludes compliance with food contact material requirements; the copy of the supplier's business license is within its validity period." The draft handoff request reads: "Enter this batch of vacuum flasks into the inventory procurement list as qualified samples and synchronize to the supplier records database." The point to decide is that the submission statement, the report conclusion and the qualification validity period are separate fields, and the request to enter as qualified and synchronize has no stated authorization or downstream implementation in the materials.

Configuration and implementation checks

Configuration itemSetting or check on this pageBasis and boundary
Request address and methodFill in per the external interface documentation; the address may reference variablesDocumented: the address can reference variables
Params and HeadersCheck path parameters and request headers separately; inject authentication credentials through secure configurationDocumented: both are used similarly to Postman
BodyUsed only under the relevant request type; check the JSON structure against the contractDocumented: Body takes effect only for specific request types
Variable referencesCheck each global variable, system variable and upstream node outputDocumented: three sources
Return value extractionConfigure the key with JSON path; choose string output type as neededDocumented: extraction syntax and formatting
Debug identity fieldschatId and responseChatItemId do not exist in test modeDocumented: absent in that mode

Three common errors

  1. Treating retrieval or a form as authorized execution. In the exercise, the request asks to enter as qualified and synchronize to the supplier records database, while the materials give only the submission statement, the report conclusion and the qualification validity period, with no stated authorization for entry or synchronization. The check input is the request text and the three material statements; the comparison is whether an authorization field for entry and synchronization exists; the observable result is that it is unsupported, and the evidence gap is recorded.
  2. Merging separate fields into one fact. The submission statement, the inspection report conclusion and the qualification validity period are different fields. A check must use the same subject, the same period and the same field; only clearly mutually exclusive values in the same field constitute a contradiction. In this exercise the field values are not mutually exclusive, so the status is pending verification.
  3. Treating a debug empty value as a business fault. If chatId or responseChatItemId is empty in test mode, this is a documented property of that mode. The check input is the current run mode; the comparison is whether the field exists; the observable result should match that mode, and no interface fault is concluded from it.

How to verify the setup

  1. For the draft request in the exercise, check whether an authorization field for entry and synchronization already exists. The input is the request text and the three material statements; the comparison is the presence or absence of an authorization field; the condition is met only when the field is explicitly stated. If it is not stated, record it as pending verification and do not perform entry or synchronization.
  2. For return value extraction, build a paper response using report number A-01 and configure the key by JSON path. The input is the paper response and the extraction configuration; the comparison is the extracted value against the corresponding field in the response; the condition is met when the values match. If they differ, record the actual observation and do not infer a failure cause.
  3. For field determination, list the submission date, quantity 30 units, report number A-01 and qualification validity period item by item. The input is each field's original text; the comparison is whether values within the same field are mutually exclusive; the condition is met only when the same field clearly holds mutually exclusive values. Otherwise record it as unsupported. Retrieval results carry no permission or entity isolation, and a relevance score is not a basis for authorization.
