What the documents look like
Livestream sample inspection and product selection happens before a broadcast, and the central question is whether a product can be sold and whether it suits livestream display. In the inventory procurement and supplier records step, the working materials are supplier qualification files, inspection agency reports, sample evaluation forms, and prohibited-item lists. These materials update weekly and per product, and the brief records this cadence without implying any batch synchronization, full synchronization, real-time update, or transaction-triggered mechanism.
Supplier qualification files and inspection reports usually come from different issuing parties. A report carries a testing institution, a sample name, tested items, and a validity period. A sample evaluation form records a trial conclusion. A prohibited-item list comes from a platform negative catalog. Once these materials enter a knowledge base, retrieval finds candidate fragments. Retrieval does not confirm whether a material is valid or whether its use is authorized. The citation limit is counted in tokens, and the minimum relevance value takes effect only in semantic retrieval or result reranking. Neither setting performs permission filtering or entity isolation.
Constraints at the citation tracing step
The knowledge base search node outputs a citation array whose length can be zero, and an empty array still passes through the output path. An empty array does not mean the workflow has errored or terminated. A search node can associate one or more knowledge bases that use the same vector model, and knowledge bases with different vector models cannot be associated together. During a check, first compare the vector model identifiers, exclude those that do not match, and record what is actually observed. Do not run a cross-model retrieval to compare missed recalls.
Retrieval output needs to be passed to the answer step, and each answer statement is compared against the cited source text. Citation display is checked with traceable samples, and a thinking process or fluent answer does not replace source evidence. Material timeliness is tested with current-version and historical-version documents, and whether a citation is adopted still depends on a valid-version review. Optional paths in the documented overall flow are not executed on every request. Image retrieval requires a corresponding image input and model capability, and reranking requires a rerank model and must be enabled by configuration.
Hypothetical paper exercise sample: a batch sample evaluation form states "Sample number S-2401, supplier Hongyuan Daily Chemicals, evaluation date 12 March 2024, trial conclusion: may proceed to the next round." The inspection report for the same batch states "Report number Q-2401, tested object S-2401, tested item total colony count, report date 15 March 2024, conclusion: within limits." The supplier qualification file states "Qualification number Z-2401, entity Hongyuan Daily Chemicals, valid until 31 December 2024." The draft handover sentence to be assessed is: "S-2401 has passed inspection and completed supplier qualification review, and procurement can be arranged." This sentence merges three facts—evaluation, testing, and qualification—and states neither a qualification review conclusion nor a procurement authorization.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration or check item | Hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Reason and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Associated knowledge bases | Select the supplier records base and the inspection report base | First compare the vector model identifiers; exclude those that differ; do not run cross-model retrieval |
| Search mode | Hybrid retrieval | Report and sample numbers need keyword hits; natural-language descriptions need semantic recall; compare candidate differences between the two modes |
| Citation limit | Set to a smaller value as the starting point for this exercise | The starting point observes how the number of citations changes; compare with the citation set returned at a larger value; this is not stated as a default |
| Minimum relevance | Set to a middle value as the starting point for this exercise | Takes effect only in semantic retrieval or result reranking; compare citation counts at higher and lower values |
| Result reranking | Enabled per configuration when a rerank model is available | The rerank score is used for filtering; compare with candidate order when reranking is not applied |
| Citation content handoff | Retrieval output connected to the answer step | Compare each answer statement against the cited source text for subject, object, and date |
Three common errors
- Treating a retrieval hit as authorization. Input: a retrieved supplier qualification fragment. Compare the fragment content with the procurement authorization record. If only a validity period is present and no authorization conclusion is recorded, the authorization status remains unsupported.
- Writing a pending-review state as a passed review. Input: the draft handover sentence "S-2401 has passed inspection and completed supplier qualification review." Compare the inspection report conclusion with the qualification review record. The report conclusion covers only the tested item, and the qualification review conclusion is absent, so the sentence remains unsupported.
- Treating values from different fields as a contradiction. Input: the sample evaluation date 12 March 2024 and the report date 15 March 2024. These belong to different fields, and the date order does not constitute a contradiction. A contradiction requires mutually exclusive values in the same field.
How to verify the setup
- Input the qualification source text from the hypothetical sample and the draft handover sentence. Compare the two fields of qualification validity period and procurement authorization conclusion. If the authorization conclusion is not stated, the observed result should be that the authorization status is pending verification.
- Input the inspection report source text from the hypothetical sample and the draft handover sentence. Compare the tested items covered by the report conclusion with the scope of the phrase "has passed inspection." If the report covers only total colony count, the observed result should be that the conclusion scope is pending verification.
- Input the case where the citation array is empty. Compare the design of the downstream answer step. If the downstream step has an explicit statement for handling an empty array, the observed result should be that the path continues. This is a paper check and does not claim that a fictional rule retrieval will necessarily return an empty array.
This page addresses only livestream sample inspection and product selection / inventory procurement and supplier records / citation tracing. During operational handover, which materials, operations, or requests are in what authorization state cannot be treated as authorized execution by retrieval or by a form.
