Multi-warehouse inventory: shared access for staff training

Review shared access for staff training in Multi-warehouse inventory. Check document scope, failure paths and source evidence through controlled tests.

What the documents look like

Multi-warehouse allocation happens at the order routing stage and determines which warehouse ships an order, which separates it from carrier handover. The main data sources are WMS, OMS, ERP inventory and platform inventory interfaces. Typical roles are supply chain planning, WMS administrators and e-commerce operations. Daily documents are allocation rules, inventory sync tables, transfer orders and stockout alerts. Errors lead to oversell refunds, higher cross-region freight and delayed shipment.

This page covers one task: sharing and embedding allocation rules, inventory sync tables, transfer orders and stockout alerts with store staff or internal trainees. It describes which materials, operations and requests sit in which authorization state. Retrieval and form submission do not constitute authorization or execution.

The shared no-login window creates a temporary accessible address. Any internet user can use the application through that address, and costs accrue to the team that owns the application. The system generates a localId for each user and pulls conversation records from the cloud. That mechanism only holds on the same device and the same browser; switching devices or clearing browser cache loses the records. The system allows pulling the last 30 days and 20 records. Identity verification is a POST root address: initialization, conversation start and conversation end each send a request to a specific endpoint under that address. The interface returns success true to allow the user to continue. The uid must be returned and must be a string without the characters "|", "/" or "\\" and no longer than 255 bytes, otherwise the system returns Invalid UID. The authToken is appended as an extra query parameter to the share link, and FastGPT carries token=[authToken] in the body of the authentication interface. The result reporting interface has no specified return value; totalPoints and token are the fields of interest. Expiry time, QPM, points cap and identity verification are configurable only in the commercial edition.

Constraints at the shared access step

The no-login link is an access address, not an authorization record. Opening it lets a user reach the application; it does not grant permission to change allocation rules, edit inventory sync tables, approve transfer orders or close stockout alerts. Any change to those documents needs its own downstream implementation.

The identity verification flow adds a second layer. The root address receives POST requests at the initialization, start and finish endpoints. The response must return success true for the user to continue. The uid identifies the user for pulling and saving conversation records. A missing or malformed uid produces Invalid UID. A pending request is not approval, an offered option is not execution, and an unsigned termination is not a completed termination.

Conversation records pulled under the anonymous localId depend on the same device and the same browser. Cross-device records require a separate identity and session design, which this page does not claim to implement.

Hypothetical paper training sample: a supply chain planning role hands a document titled "East China allocation rules" to store trainees for self-study. The material text reads: "East China orders ship first from the Shanghai warehouse; when Shanghai sellable inventory falls below the safety value, the Hangzhou warehouse ships instead. This rule applies to East China store orders from 1 March 2025." The draft sentence to be judged is: "Store trainees can use this share link directly to change the Shanghai shipping priority." The source text states shipping order and effective scope only, and grants no modification right. No real customer, company or identity number is used.

Configuration and implementation checks

Configuration itemUse on this pageCheck method
NameRecords the link name, for display onlyCompare against the training batch label; do not treat it as an authorization identifier
Expiry timeAfter this time the link cannot be usedSet by training cycle; check whether the deployed edition supports it
QPMMaximum visits per user per minuteSet a hypothetical starting value for this training cohort and compare against access logs
Points capMaximum billing data produced by the linkCheck the owning team for cost; compare against usage records
Identity verificationThird-party authentication and conversation callbacksConfirm commercial edition scope; judge by success and uid
Real-time running statusWhether to show the currently running nodeDecide by whether the training needs node display

The QPM starting value is a hypothetical figure chosen for this paper exercise because the cohort size is not documented; it is not an official default. Compare it against actual access logs rather than assuming a platform limit. This page does not involve vector models for the retrieval library, similarity thresholds, reference token caps or thinking budget.

Three common errors

  1. Treating the share link as an authorization credential. The link identifier only enables access; it does not mean store trainees hold permission to modify allocation rules. Check input: the draft sentence and the source material text. Compare whether both state a modification right. The material does not state one, so the draft sentence is unsupported.
  2. Treating retrieval or a form as business execution. Retrieved content does not represent authorization, and a form collecting values does not mean approval, a database write or external synchronization has occurred. Check input: the request and the source material text. Compare whether an authorization or execution record appears. If neither appears, the action remains unimplemented.
  3. Treating a pending review as missing permission. A pending review only shows the process is incomplete; it does not establish that the operation right is absent. Check input: the status field. Compare the same subject, same period and same field value. If the field is not stated, record it as pending verification.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input the hypothetical sample material text and the draft sentence. Compare whether the source text states a modification right for store trainees. The source text states shipping order and effective scope only, and no modification authorization appears, so the draft sentence exceeds the source and is judged unsupported. This is a paper comparison, not a completed test.
  2. Input the identity verification root address from the share link configuration and the authToken concatenation method. Compare the interface response success and uid against the documented format. Success true with a compliant uid string satisfies the condition. An Invalid UID return or success not true is recorded as an observation; the specific cause remains unknown without a documented error code or an actual observation.
  3. Input the conversation record pull scope. Compare whether it falls within the last 30 days and 20 records, and whether it depends on the same device and same browser. Cross-device records require a separate identity and session design. This page does not claim that such a design has been implemented.
