What the documents look like
Near-expiry markdown handling follows the shelf-life cycle of store inventory. It differs from per-order weighing and sorting, where each order is weighed item by item. The working materials here are the near-expiry list, the markdown approval, the damage report, and the promotional shelf label. Data comes from POS stock-age records, store inspections, ERP inventory, and quality inspection records, and updates on a daily or shift basis.
In store service and internal training, sharing and embedding concerns how these materials move between the store manager, the loss administrator, and the finance auditor. The approval result, signature status, and effective scope written on a material form the basis for checking at handover. A near-expiry list marks the batch and remaining shelf time; a markdown approval records the markdown range and approver; a damage report records the isolated and destroyed quantities; a promotional shelf label corresponds to an effective store and time window. When one material or one request is passed to the next role, the first step is to confirm what state that material is in.
Constraints at the shared access step
The documented no-login window parameters include expiry time, QPM, points cap, identity verification, real-time running status, view quote snippet, view full quote, and download or open source text. Some parameters are configurable only in the commercial edition. Identity verification is a POST root address. Initialization, conversation start, and conversation end each send a request to the corresponding interface. Access passes only when the response returns success as true and the uid in data is a string that does not contain "|", "/", or "\" and does not exceed 255 bytes.
In the anonymous case, the localId depends on the same device and the same browser. Records across devices require separate design of identity and session management. Retrieval and relevance scores do not carry out authorization checks. The quote list and the uid belong to different layers of information. A share link that opens only shows the access address is valid. Whether a markdown approval was granted, and whether a damage report was completed, are independent states recorded on the material itself.
Configuration and implementation checks
The following settings relate to the sample on this page. Values are hypothetical starting points for this exercise, used to fix a comparison object. They are not official defaults.
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Check method and comparison object |
|---|---|---|
| Expiry time | Set to the day after the sample handover date | Compare with the effective date on the markdown approval to confirm the link window covers the handover moment |
| QPM | Set to 10 requests per user per minute | Compare with consecutive operations by the same account recorded in the training sign-in sheet; record any excess as an observation |
| Points cap | Set to cover a single training demonstration | Compare with the cumulative totalPoints returned by the result reporting interface |
| Identity verification root address | Filled with the internal verification service root address | Compare with the success and uid fields in the interface response; uid must meet the character and byte-length requirements |
| authToken concatenation | Generated by the training system and appended to the share link | Compare with the token value in the authentication interface body to confirm both match |
| Conversation record scope | Assumed to cover the same device and same browser only | Compare with cross-device login records to confirm cross-device records fall outside this link |
Three common errors
- Treating the share link identifier as business authorization. A link that opens only means the access address is valid. Whether a markdown approval was granted, and whether a damage report was completed, are independent states on the material. Check: input the sample link and the markdown approval, compare the approver field on the approval with the link parameters, and record the case as pending verification when the approval carries no approver.
- Treating the uid returned by identity verification as store permission. The uid is used to pull and save conversation records. It does not indicate that the user may view or modify the near-expiry list. Check: input the successful authentication response and the store inspection record, compare the uid with the role field in the inspection record, and do not merge the two into one judgment when they belong to different fields.
- Treating retrieval relevance as a means of entity isolation. A similarity value does not exclude unrelated batches or unauthorized records. Check: input the quoteList returned by retrieval and the batch number on the near-expiry list, compare whether the batch numbers match, and record the case as pending verification when they differ, without inferring that isolation has occurred.
How to verify the setup
The following verification uses one hypothetical drill sample. Three source sentences from the sample materials are provided for checking. The first sentence is: "Near-expiry list: Store A, batch 20240612-03, 6 hours of shelf time remaining, status pending markdown." The second sentence is: "Markdown approval: batch 20240612-03, markdown range undetermined, approver field blank, approval date 12 June 2024." The third sentence is: "Damage report: batch 20240612-03, isolated quantity 0, destroyed quantity 0, status not executed." The draft sentence to be judged is: "Batch 20240612-03 markdown approved, damage report may be executed."
- Input the three source sentences above and the draft sentence. Compare "approved" in the draft sentence with the two states on the markdown approval: the approver field is blank, and the approval date is filled. When the approver field is blank and no other approval record exists, the draft sentence is not supported and should be recorded as pending verification.
- Input the damage report source sentence and "damage report may be executed" in the draft sentence. Compare the three fields on the damage report: isolated quantity 0, destroyed quantity 0, status not executed. When the status is not executed, the damage action remains unexecuted, and the draft sentence is not supported.
- Input the authentication interface response for the share link and the sample link parameters. Compare whether success in the response is true, whether the uid meets the character and byte-length requirements, and whether the token in the body matches the authToken in the link. When all three are satisfied, this only shows that the request passed identity verification. It does not show that the markdown approval or the damage report has been authorized. When any one is not satisfied, record the field values actually observed and do not infer a specific failure cause.
