What the documents look like
Brand self-operated livestreams carry their own scripts, inventory and after-sales work. The brand team, not a creator, owns the messaging, so the daily documents are the livestream script, the product explanation card, the shift schedule and the livestream review. The operating review step turns per-session and hourly transaction detail plus traffic conversion into checkable records. The people producing this material are the livestream team, the floor controller, the host and the ad-buying specialist. Errors here can surface as false-advertising complaints, oversold inventory or falling conversion.
When these materials move between external systems, the HTTP module makes the call. The module does not judge business authorization. A successful request only shows that a request was sent and a response returned. It does not confirm that the review conclusion was approved, that a status was authorized, or that a downstream record was written.
Constraints at the HTTP integrations step
The HTTP module sends a request to the configured address. Params carry path parameters and are common in GET requests. Body carries the request body and is common in POST and PUT requests. Headers carry special information. Custom variables can receive the output of an upstream node. All three data sections can reference variables through {{}}, and the URL can also reference a variable. Variables come from global variables, system variables and upstream node output.
System variables include appId, chatId, responseChatItemId, variables, cTime and histories. The chatId and responseChatItemId values do not exist in test mode, so an empty value during debugging is not a business fault. Return values are extracted with JSON path. When the output type is set to string, the value of the corresponding key is converted to a JSON string. The chat endpoint uses APIKey authentication. When calling chat/completions, passing body.appId in the request body is recommended. The Authorization: Bearer <apiKey>-<appId> form is also supported, and in that case body.appId is not required. The model, temperature and similar fields passed in are ineffective; the orchestration decides them. Setting detail=true returns intermediate values, and in non-stream mode the result is stored in responseData. A plugin-type application defaults to detail mode, needs no chatId and no messages, receives input through variables and returns output through pluginOutput.
Hypothetical paper exercise. On 12 June 2025, after one livestream, a brand self-operated team assembles transaction detail and traffic conversion into review material. The source text reads: "This livestream ran from 20:00 to 23:00. The floor controller exported the transaction detail. The product explanation card version is the version attached to that day's product schedule. The review conclusion is pending confirmation by the operations lead before archiving." A handover request under review reads: "Please synchronize this session's review conclusion to the external reporting system through the HTTP interface and mark it as confirmed." Per the source text, the review conclusion is in a pending state. The "confirmed" mark required by the request has no basis in the source. The operations lead must complete confirmation before that status can exist.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Reason and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Request address | Use the address given in the external interface document | The address can reference a variable; compare the value actually passed with the document |
| Request method | Choose per the external interface document | Compare item by item with the method declared in the document |
| Headers authentication | Inject credentials through secure configuration | Do not write them into public samples; check the injected value is non-empty |
| Body structure | Organize JSON per the external interface contract | Effective only under the matching request type; compare fields with the contract |
| Variable references | Reference global variables and upstream node output | Check each value actually passed against its source |
| Return value extraction | Configure the key per JSON path | When output type is string, the value is converted to a JSON string |
This starting point is a hypothetical exercise value, not an official default. The comparison method is a manual check against the external interface document and the source material.
Three common errors
- Treating a pending state as confirmed. In the sample, the review conclusion is pending confirmation by the operations lead, while the handover request asks for a confirmed mark. The input is the source text and the request. The comparison is between the source status and the requested mark. The observable result is that the two do not match. Executing the mark directly leaves the status unsupported.
- Treating a test-mode empty value as a business fault. The chatId and responseChatItemId values do not exist in test mode. The input is a test-mode call. The comparison is between the documented statement and the observed empty value. The observable result is that the empty value matches the documented behavior. Concluding that the interface is faulty goes beyond the document.
- Treating a plugin call as a chat call. A plugin-type application needs no chatId and no messages, and receives input through
variables. The input is a plugin request. The comparison is between the documented parameter set and the parameters actually present. The observable result is the appearance of extra parameters. Reusing the chat parameter structure can make the input fail to match the contract.
How to verify the setup
- For the sample source text, input the source text and the handover request. Compare the source status with the requested mark. If the two do not match, judge the request unsupported and record the pending state. This is a paper check; it does not claim the request was actually executed.
- For test mode, input one test-mode call. Compare the documented statement with the observed chatId and responseChatItemId values. If they are empty, this matches the document and is not a fault. Keep the observation record. This is a paper check; it does not claim the call was actually run.
- For the plugin call, input one plugin request. Compare the documented parameter set with the parameters actually present. If chatId or messages appears, the request does not match the contract, and input should be passed through
variables. Use the document as the reference. This is a paper check; it does not claim the request was actually sent.
These checks test the named primary task: whether the handover request's status claim is supported by the source material, and whether the HTTP integration parameters match the documented contract. They do not drift into identity certification, report analysis or downstream business approval. Missing evidence stays missing. A pending request is not an approval. An offered option is not an execution. The relevance of a retrieval result does not grant permission, and retrieval is not authorization.
