What the documents look like
Tmall flagship store operations center on brand authorization, flagship identity, and Tmall points compensation rules. The working materials for this category include product listing pages, brand authorization letters, delivery commitment records, and after-sales work orders, with updates occurring daily and per order. For operating reports and exception reviews, the conversation log and audit step draws on customer service chat records and interface call records as supporting material when reviewing delayed shipments or after-sales disputes. The presence of a stored log does not by itself grant business authorization, and it does not mean a compliance audit has been completed. When reconciling, the conversation identity must be aligned with the business record, and sessions from different entry points must not be counted together.
The data sources for this category are the Tmall merchant backend, the Tmall rules center, ERP order tables, and customer service chat records. The typical practitioners are brand e-commerce departments, Tmall store managers, and agency operations companies. Errors in this area can lead to product delisting, delayed shipment compensation, and a decline in store rating. The three most time-consuming steps are verifying category qualifications, maintaining the 48-hour delivery commitment, and handling delayed shipment compensation.
Constraints at the conversation logs step
The conversation interface documentation states that when calling chat/completions, passing body.appId in the request body is recommended. It also supports Authorization: Bearer <apiKey>-<appId>, in which case body.appId is not required. The appId priority order is body.appId, then <apiKey>-<appId>, then the appId associated with the apikey for legacy compatibility. When chatId is a non-empty string, the system automatically retrieves the session from the database and uses the last item in the messages array as the user question, ignoring the remaining messages. The chatId must be unique and shorter than 250 characters. When responseChatItemId is passed, it becomes the ID of the response message for that turn and is stored in the database; it must be unique within the current chatId. When detail=true, intermediate values are returned in responseData for non-stream mode, and distinguished by event for stream mode. The event values include answer, flowNodeStatus, flowResponses, and error, among others. The conversation CRUD endpoints provide session lists, session basic information, conversation lists, single conversation run details, and feedback updates. Setting source=api returns only sessions created through the API, not sessions from the page.
Retrieval similarity and quoteList are recall results and do not carry permission or entity isolation responsibilities. The existence of a log does not equal a completed compliance audit; reconciliation, retention, and compliance requirements are implemented separately through a complete business plan. A relevance score is not a category, entity, or permission filter.
Hypothetical exercise sample: the material text reads, "The delivery commitment records for this store's orders from March 1 to March 31, 2025 show that Order A was placed on March 5, was committed to ship within 48 hours, and actually shipped on March 9." A draft sentence awaiting judgment reads, "This session record can prove that responsibility for Order A's delayed shipment has been confirmed." The subject required for judgment is the store operator, the object is Order A, the status is shipped beyond the committed window, and the effective scope is March 1 to March 31. The draft sentence treats the existence of a log as confirmation of responsibility, which exceeds what the material supports.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Reason for selection and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| appId delivery location | body.appId in the request body | Compared with the <apiKey>-<appId> form in Authorization, verify which source actually takes effect |
| chatId | The session identifier for this exercise | Check uniqueness and length under 250, align with the target business record |
| detail | true | When intermediate values are needed, compare with detail=false and observe whether responseData appears |
| stream | false | Compare with stream=true and confirm the difference in event-based distinction |
| source | api | Compare with page sessions and confirm the session list returns only API-created sources |
| loadCustomFeedbacks | true | Compare with omitting the parameter and observe whether custom feedback fields are returned |
These values are hypothetical starting points for this exercise, not official defaults.
Three common errors
- Using chatId as a business order number. The input is a session identifier, and the comparison object is a field in the ERP order table. If the two have similar naming but different origins, the session record cannot be directly mapped to the order.
- Treating the similarity in quoteList returned by detail=true as a permission filter result. The input is a recall item, and the comparison object is the target retrieval scope. A high similarity score does not mean the session has the right to access that business record.
- Treating log retention as confirmation of responsibility. The input is the draft sentence, and the comparison object is the original delivery commitment record. The material shows only the actual shipment date and does not state attribution of responsibility, so the claim is unsupported.
How to verify the setup
- Input the delivery commitment record text from the hypothetical sample and the draft sentence. Compare whether the draft sentence exceeds the subject, object, status, and effective scope stated in the original text. If the draft sentence adds a responsibility confirmation conclusion while the original text does not state it, the draft is judged unsupported.
- Input two requests, one with detail=true and one with detail=false. Compare whether responseData contains intermediate values. If responseData includes module responses when detail=true and does not return them when detail=false, the behavior matches the documented condition.
- Input a session list request with source=api. Compare whether the returned list contains only API-created sessions. If page-source sessions do not appear, the behavior matches the documented condition. An empty result can be checked against a paper input of [] to verify downstream design, without claiming that a fictional rule retrieval necessarily returns empty.
The identity of the conversation must be reconciled with the target conversation and business record using chatId, and sessions from different entry points must not be counted together. When conversation interface run details are needed, set detail according to the official contract and inspect responseData. Verify the fields actually returned by the log and interface; business data not returned cannot be presumed to be fully retained. Identity fields in test mode may differ from production calls, so inputs, history, and returned content are checked separately. Reconciliation, retention, and compliance requirements are implemented through a complete business plan, and the existence of a log does not equal a completed compliance audit.
