What the documents look like
Channel receivables collection begins after credit sales. The operating focus is credit granting and cash recovery. The material set draws on the finance system, bank receipts, distributor orders, and sales contracts. Day-to-day handling covers the receivables aging table, dunning letters, credit agreements, and shipment freeze notices. Operating reporting and exception review need to answer: what stage a given receivable is in, whether a given letter has been sent, and whether a given freeze has a basis. Those judgments depend on evidence from the same entity, the same period, and the same field. The retrieval step only recalls the relevant materials. It does not confirm authorization status, and it does not execute freeze or collection actions.
The category differs from B2B matchmaking because the work happens after credit sales, so credit exposure and cash recovery carry the weight. Data updates weekly or monthly, which matters for how aging snapshots and letter status are dated. The three most time-consuming steps are analyzing aging, communicating repayment plans, and freezing shipments beyond credit. Those steps shape what a reviewer needs to pull back from the knowledge base.
Constraints at the retrieval step
The dataset search node can associate one or more knowledge bases that use the same vector model. Knowledge bases using different vector models cannot be associated together. When candidate bases are present, check the vector model identifier first, exclude those that do not match, and record the actual observation. Do not run a cross-model retrieval to compare missed recalls.
Cited content is output as an array, and its length can be 0. Even when no content is found, this output path still completes.
Hypothetical drill sample. Source text one: "The aging table for Distributor A for March 2025 shows that as of March 31, receivable number A-2025-031 has an outstanding balance of 120,000 yuan, a payment term of 60 days, and a due date of April 30, 2025." Source text two: "The credit agreement for Distributor A provides a credit limit of 100,000 yuan; shipments beyond the credit limit require written consent from brand finance." Draft sentence to be assessed: "Distributor A's A-2025-031 is beyond the credit limit and shipments should stop." The comparison checks the entity (Distributor A), the object (A-2025-031), the state (balance of 120,000 yuan against the credit limit of 100,000 yuan), and the effective scope (whether the credit agreement covers that period). The source text does not state whether a freeze notice has been issued. That status is unsupported and the evidence gap remains.
Configuration and implementation checks
The table lists only documented settings or implementation checks tied to this page's main task. The hypothetical trial starting values are for comparison and are not official defaults.
| Configuration item | Hypothetical trial starting value | Reason and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Associated knowledge bases | Select only one base whose vector model identifier matches | Check the identifier first, exclude non-matching bases, then observe whether recall covers the aging table and the credit agreement |
| Search mode | Try hybrid retrieval first | Compare recall content for the same test question against semantic retrieval and full-text retrieval separately |
| Citation limit | Set to cover one complete aging table segment | Test content completeness with actual materials of different lengths, then adjust |
| Minimum relevance | Mark relevant and irrelevant samples first, then set | This value takes effect only under semantic retrieval or when result reranking is used |
| Question optimization | Enable for short questions and multi-turn follow-ups | Compare the original question with the optimized question and check whether the entity was altered |
| Result reranking | Enable when candidates are many and a rerank model is available | Rerank scores are 0-1 and can be used for filtering; do not describe this as a switch |
Three common errors
- Treating retrieval recall as authorization confirmation. The input is "A-2025-031 is beyond the credit limit." Compare the credit limit in the credit agreement with the balance in the aging table. The observed result is only a numeric difference. Whether a shipment freeze has been executed belongs to a downstream business action, and the retrieval result does not provide that status.
- Treating a pending review as a lack of operating permission. The input is "dunning letter pending review." Compare the letter status field. The observed result is a review stage. Signing, reaching cooperation, and contract effectiveness are three distinct facts and cannot substitute for one another.
- Treating a similarity score as a permission or entity filter. The input is the same question retrieving materials for multiple distributors. Compare the returned content with the entity identifier and observe whether other entities are mixed in. Minimum relevance is only a filtering threshold; it does not exclude unrelated businesses or unauthorized records.
How to verify the setup
- Use hypothetical source text one and the draft sentence as input. Compare whether the recalled content includes both the aging table source text and the credit agreement source text, and observe whether the entity, object, and period match. If only one of the two is recalled, record the gap and do not conclude that the draft sentence holds.
- Use hypothetical source text two as input. Compare how full-text retrieval and semantic retrieval hit "credit limit of 100,000 yuan," and observe whether an exact identifier-style query goes through full-text or hybrid retrieval. Do not guarantee a first-position hit or complete recall.
- Use an explicit paper input of an empty array to check the downstream design, and observe whether the output path completes when citations are empty. Do not claim that a fictional rule retrieval necessarily returns an empty array. For cross-model bases, only check the identifier and exclude non-matching ones; do not fabricate the runtime result of a shared association.
