What the documents look like
Fresh-food supplier claims pursue quality responsibility for goods as received. They do not handle natural in-store shrinkage, and that boundary shapes the whole document set. The working materials come from four sources: the quality inspection system, WMS receiving, the supplier contract, and financial reconciliation. Each delivery batch produces a quality anomaly form, photo evidence, and a deduction notice; each month produces a claims reconciliation statement. Fixed evidence, deduction calculation, and negotiation over replacement or compensation consume most of the handling time. Operating reports and anomaly reviews therefore have to collect documents scattered across four sources, group them by batch and by supplier, and then check the deduction basis against the contract and the inspection record.
The practical consequence for this page is narrow. The task here is operating reporting and anomaly review, and the feature under discussion is workflow routing. Routing can gather required information and branch on a human decision. It cannot itself establish that a supplier accepted a deduction, that finance completed a calculation, or that a reconciliation record was written.
Constraints at the workflow routing step
The documented Form Input node is a user-interaction node. When it triggers, the conversation enters an interaction state, the workflow state is recorded, and execution continues after the user completes the interaction. It collects the required information the user submits and passes that information to later nodes. The documented User Selection node is also a user-interaction node with the same interaction-state behavior; when the user makes a choice, the node evaluates that choice and executes the corresponding "yes" branch. Both nodes wait during the interaction. No business action occurs while they wait.
Claims material carries deduction amounts and supplier responsibility determinations. Routing can carry information collection and branch selection. Order writes, document backfill, and external status synchronization require a separate business interface or a later process. Retrieval and form submission do not constitute authorization. At operational handover, the state of each item must be distinguished: submitted, pending review, or confirmed.
Hypothetical paper exercise sample: an inspector submits a quality anomaly form whose text reads, "Supplier A, delivery batch B-0312 received 12 March 2025, spinach pesticide residue test failed, deduction amount pending finance calculation." A separate draft sentence reads, "Supplier A has confirmed the deduction for this batch." A pending request reads, "Push this deduction notice to the supplier reconciliation process." The sample contains no supplier confirmation record and no finance calculation result. The draft sentence lacks a confirming party, and the request lacks an amount basis and a connected write path.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Value or check on this page | Basis and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Form Input node | Collect batch number, supplier, anomaly type, evidence number | Node documentation states required information is collected and passed to later nodes |
| User Selection node | Set a "deduction basis confirmation" branch; verify the "yes" branch connection item by item | Node documentation states the "yes" branch runs according to the user's choice |
| Interaction state check | Record the state as interaction-node behavior; add no separate global state switch | Node documentation states the interaction state is entered on trigger |
| Output handoff check | Pass collected form information explicitly to a later judgment or interface node | Compare each output against its input |
| External action split | Deduction notice push and reconciliation write require a separate business interface | Node documentation does not cover write or synchronization capability |
| Hypothetical trial starting point | Leave the deduction amount field empty until finance calculates it | This page's hypothetical starting point; compare against the reconciliation statement amount |
Three common errors
- Treating the draft sentence "Supplier A has confirmed the deduction for this batch" as a confirmed fact. The sample contains no supplier confirmation record, so the sentence is unsupported and must be marked pending verification.
- Treating "push to the supplier reconciliation process" as already executed. The sample has no reconciliation write interface, so the request remains pending and does not constitute execution.
- Using retrieval results in place of an authorization judgment. Retrieval does not perform permission or entity isolation. A supplier responsibility determination requires support from both the contract and the inspection material.
Corresponding checks: compare the draft sentence against the quality anomaly form text and confirm whether a supplier confirmation field exists; if it does not, record the sentence as unsupported. Compare the request against the interface configuration and confirm whether a reconciliation write is connected; if it is not, record the request as pending implementation. Compare the retrieval scope against the authorization material and confirm whether the responsibility basis is complete; if it is not, record the evidence gap.
How to verify the setup
- Verification one: input the quality anomaly form text above together with the draft sentence. Compare whether the source text contains a supplier confirmation record. When the source text has no such record, the draft sentence is unsupported and must not be marked confirmed.
- Verification two: input the pending request "push this deduction notice to the supplier reconciliation process." Compare whether the workflow has a connected reconciliation write interface. When no interface is connected, the request stays pending and must not be treated as executed.
- Verification three: input an empty-result handoff case, using the explicit paper input [] to check the downstream design, and observe whether the downstream node handles it along the empty-input branch. Do not claim that a fictional rule retrieval necessarily returns [].
All three verifications use the hypothetical sample as input, and the comparison objects are the sample source text and the configuration items. When the condition is met, record a pass; when it is not met, keep the evidence gap and do not supply an authorization or effective clause.
