Store cold-chain receiving: HTTP integrations for operating reviews

Review HTTP integrations for operating reviews in Store cold-chain receiving. Check sources, input boundaries, error handling and repeatable test evidence.

What the documents look like

Cold-chain receiving at a store turns on transport temperature, arrival batches, and the receiving decision. The working documents are the cold-chain temperature record, the arrival inspection sheet, the rejection note, and the supplier delivery note. Data comes from the refrigerated vehicle's temperature control, the WMS, the store receiving system, and quality inspection photos. Each batch requires temperature measurement, quality sampling, and rejection-reason entry, and the daily update rhythm means an interface may carry several batch writes and status returns in a single day.

Operating reviews need these results, rejection reasons, and temperature readings gathered into a traceable record. The HTTP module sends a request to an external address; Params, Headers, and Body can each reference variables, and the URL can also reference a variable. Return values are extracted through JSON path syntax, and the output type can be formatted as a string. Those mechanics decide whether receiving-floor data reaches a review view at all. The category differs from fruit procurement: receiving checks transport temperature and the arrival batch, and does not handle origin price inquiry.

Constraints at the HTTP integrations step

When receiving data is written to an external system, the address and method follow the external interface document, and the address may reference a supplied variable. Headers carry authentication information, with credentials injected through security configuration rather than written into a public sample. Body takes effect only under the corresponding request type, and its JSON structure must match the external interface contract. Variable references are checked item by item against the value actually passed in, so an unassigned debug field is not treated as business data.

In the chat interface, chatId and responseChatItemId do not exist in test mode. A missing value in a debug run is an environment difference and does not by itself indicate a business fault. Passed fields such as model and temperature are decided by the orchestration and do not change with API parameters. A retrieval result or a value collected by a form does not amount to business authorization; receiving release, rejection confirmation, and supplier settlement still need the downstream system to act under its own rules.

Hypothetical drill sample: a fresh-produce warehouse and distribution entity holds a paper record whose original text reads, "On 12 March 2025, refrigerated vehicle C-07 arrived at the store, the compartment temperature record showed 6.8°C, the store receiver entered on the arrival inspection sheet that the leafy-vegetable sample for this batch passed inspection, and the supplier delivery note number was SD-0312." A separate draft sentence awaits a determination: "This batch has completed receiving release and may proceed to settlement." The record states only the temperature reading and the sampling entry, and does not state a release approval or a settlement authorization. To judge the draft sentence, the comparison is between the recorded status in the original text and the release and settlement status asserted by the draft, with the subject, batch, and date required to match.

Configuration and implementation checks

The table below is built around that sample and lists documented settings or implementation check items tied to this feature and the primary task. The values are starting points for this hypothetical trial, not official defaults.

Three common errors

  1. Treating a chatId or responseChatItemId missing from a debug environment as a business fault. The input is a debug request, the comparison is against the formal session fields, and the observed result is that the debug response carries no corresponding value, which is recorded as an environment difference.
  2. Treating a receiving entry collected by a form as release authorization. The input is the sampling entry on the arrival inspection sheet, the comparison is against the release approval record, and the observed result is that the material states no approval field, so the claim is unsupported.
  3. Treating a similar record returned by retrieval as the outcome of a permission filter. The input is the retrieval request, the comparison is against the access permission of the target record, and the observed result is that a similarity score does not perform permission judgment, so the authorization scope must be checked separately.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input the hypothetical sample original text and the draft sentence, compare the recorded status in the material against the release and settlement status asserted by the draft, and where subject, batch, and date match, the draft sentence is still judged unsupported because approval evidence is absent.
  2. Input a request configuration that references a variable address, compare the header authentication key and value against the security configuration, and observe that the token has been injected into the header and the address variable has been assigned; the condition is met under those observations.
  3. Input an empty result [] as a paper-based downstream case, compare how the downstream review view is designed to handle an empty list, and observe that the downstream does not render the empty result as completed receiving; the condition is met under that observation.
