Creator commission settlement: conversation logs for operating reviews

Review conversation logs for operating reviews in Creator commission settlement. Check input mappings, source evidence and failure handling before use.

What the documents look like

Commission settlement in this category happens after a sale closes. The reconciliation focus sits on valid promotion and post-sale commission deduction, and the working materials come from the selected alliance back office, order after-sales data, the finance system, and creator contracts. Updates arrive weekly and monthly. For operating reports and exception review, the documents in play are commission setting records, settlement statements, refund deduction details, and invoices. These materials sit in separate systems.

Conversation logs and auditing connect a given session to a business record. The chatId and dataId of one conversation have to be matched against the settlement materials before anyone can say which conversation, at which point in time, discussed a particular commission or deduction position. Log retention on its own does not amount to a compliance audit. Reconciliation and retention requirements are handled by a complete business solution elsewhere.

Constraints at the conversation logs step

Conversation identity follows chatId. Sessions from different entry points cannot be counted together. When run details are needed, the conversation interface contract requires detail to be set; in non-stream mode the result is held in responseData, and in stream mode the distinction is carried through event. Which fields the log and the interface actually return is the limit of what can be treated as retained. Business data that is not returned cannot be assumed to be fully retained.

Test mode and production calls can carry different identity fields, so input, history, and returned content are checked separately. Retrieval and similarity affect recall ordering only; they do not carry permission or entity isolation.

The following is a hypothetical drill sample used to explain the checking steps. It does not represent a real record or an executed test.

Hypothetical drill sample. Three source sentences. First, a settlement statement records: "For the March 2025 billing period, creator A's refund deduction details total 12 entries, with a combined deduction amount of 860 yuan, status is pending finance review." Second, a commission setting record states: "Creator A's category commission rate is 20%, effective date 1 March 2025, expiry date not filled in." Third, a conversation log records: "chatId is C-2231, dataId is D-8890, the user asked 'Has the March refund deduction batch been settled?', and the answer was 'Details are generated, awaiting review.'" The handover request to be judged is: "Operations should confirm creator A's March refund deduction details as correct and then pay directly." The request involves subject creator A, object refund deduction details, status pending review, period March 2025, and an authorization boundary in which finance review is not yet complete.

Configuration and implementation checks

The table below covers this page's sample and lists official documented settings or implementation checks tied to this feature and primary task. The values are starting points for this hypothetical trial, with the reason for choosing them and the comparison object.

Configuration itemHypothetical trial valueReason and comparison method
chatIdC-2231Taken from the sample log to locate the target session; compare with the conversation identifier in the business record to confirm the same session
dataIdD-8890Taken from the sample log to locate the single conversation; compare with the dataId returned by the run detail
detailtrueNeeded to obtain node run information in responseData; compare with the behavior of not returning intermediate values by default
streamfalseAllows direct reading of responseData; compare with stream mode, where the distinction is carried through event
Status field comparisonPending finance reviewTaken from the sample statement; compare with the handover request wording "confirm as correct and then pay" to judge the authorization boundary
Deduction detail periodMarch 2025Taken from the sample statement; compare with the commission setting record effective date 1 March 2025 to confirm coverage

Three common errors

  1. Treating pending review as approved. The sample statement status is pending finance review, and the handover request asks for direct payment after confirmation. The input is the statement status field and the request wording; the comparison is whether the two agree; the observable result is that when the status remains pending review, the payment condition is not met.
  2. Treating the existence of a log as complete retention of business data. The sample log records only a question and an answer, and returns no deduction amount, entry count, or other business field. The input is the fields the log actually returns; the comparison is against the field list the statement requires; the observable result is that when the log lacks amount and entry count, the details cannot be treated as reconciled on that basis.
  3. Using similarity or retrieval results in place of a permission judgment. In the sample, retrieving a conversation does not mean the business record behind that conversation has been authorized for access. The input is the conversation identifier returned by retrieval; the comparison is against the ownership and access permission of the business record; the observable result is that when the identifier does not match or permission is not stated, payment or deduction confirmation cannot be executed.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input chatId C-2231 and dataId D-8890 from the sample log, and issue the request with detail=true and stream=false under the conversation interface contract. Compare whether the corresponding node information appears in the returned responseData and whether the returned dataId matches D-8890. The expected result is a matching identifier with node information visible; when the identifier does not match, record it as unsupported.
  2. Input the sample statement's "status is pending finance review" and the handover request's "confirm as correct and then pay directly", and compare whether both hold at the same time. The expected result is that when the status field shows pending review, the payment request is in an unauthorized state; when the status field is missing or only related-stage evidence exists, record it as pending verification.
  3. Input the sample commission setting record's "effective date 1 March 2025, expiry date not filled in" and the statement period "March 2025", and compare whether they share the same subject, the same period, and the same field. The expected result is that period coverage can be confirmed; when the expiry date is not filled in, the full range of that field remains unknown, and no judgment can be made on whether later billing periods apply.
