What the documents look like
Douyin storefront operations center on product cards and store experience scores rather than the rhythm of a single live session. The daily materials in this category include product qualification pages, experience score details, shipping violation appeals and store announcements. These materials update daily and per order. In cross-border work, the same product may exist in several language versions, so retrieval has to distinguish an original version of a material from a translated version. Qualification pages and appeal materials commonly carry a subject, an object, a validity period and a processing status, and those fields determine whether a later node can continue. The routing task in this category is to place cross-border material collection and multilingual retrieval into a checkable order, and to make clear which steps only collect information and which steps require a separate business interface.
Constraints at the workflow routing step
When the Form Input node is triggered, the conversation enters an interactive state, the workflow state is recorded, and after the user completes the required fields and submits, the node passes the collected information to later nodes. When the User Selection node is triggered, the conversation likewise enters an interactive state, and when the user makes a choice the node evaluates that choice and executes the corresponding branch. These two nodes carry information collection and branch selection, while the retrieval step carries multilingual material lookup, and the output-to-input relationship between them has to be explicit. A retrieval result does not constitute authorization, and a similarity score does not act as a permission or subject filter. Order writing, document backfill and external status synchronization require a separate business interface or a later process; the interactive nodes themselves do not perform those actions.
Hypothetical paper exercise: a Douyin storefront entity, Store A, submits an original product qualification page whose text reads: "This qualification page applies to a certain insulated cup sold by Store A from 1 March 2025 to 31 December 2025; the qualification status is pending review." A draft sentence is submitted for judgment: "The qualification for this insulated cup at Store A has passed review and can be listed and sold normally." A handoff request is also submitted: "Retrieve Store A's multilingual qualification materials for the insulated cup and backfill them into the product card." The subject required for judgment is Store A, the object is the insulated cup qualification, the status is pending review, and the validity scope is 1 March 2025 to 31 December 2025.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Category | Relationship to this page's sample |
|---|---|---|
| Form Input node | Documented node behavior | Collects the required fields of Store A's qualification page and passes them to the later retrieval node after submission |
| User Selection node | Documented node behavior | Presents the choice of whether to retrieve multilingual materials and executes the corresponding branch |
| Interactive state recording | Documented node behavior | Both interactive nodes record the workflow state after being triggered and wait for the user to complete the interaction |
| Output-to-input alignment | Implementation check | Compare the form output fields with the retrieval node input fields item by item |
| Retrieval scope identifier | Implementation check | Check the vector model identifier of the retrieval library and exclude libraries that do not match the query model |
| External operation division | Requires a separate system implementation | Product card backfill and status synchronization are performed by a business interface; the interactive nodes do not carry them |
Hypothetical starting value for this exercise: set the retrieval return count limit to 5, because the sample concerns the multilingual materials of one insulated cup only, and the value is to be compared with the actual observed return count before adjustment. This value is a hypothetical starting point for this exercise, not an official default.
Three common errors
- Treating a pending-review status as a passed review. The sample original text states the qualification status is pending review, while the draft sentence writes that review has passed; the subject, object and period agree, and the status field takes mutually exclusive values, which forms a contradiction. The error is substituting the draft sentence for the original status.
- Treating retrieval as authorized execution. The handoff request asks for retrieval and product card backfill; the retrieval node returns materials only, and backfill is an external business action requiring a separate interface. The error is treating the retrieval result as grounds for executing the backfill.
- Treating a similarity score as a permission filter. A retrieval score reflects semantic relatedness only and does not carry subject or permission judgment. The error is using the score to exclude records outside Store A or to infer the scope of authorization.
How to verify the setup
- Input the sample qualification page original text and the draft sentence, and compare the four fields of subject, object, period and status. The original status is pending review and the draft sentence status is passed review; the same field takes mutually exclusive values, so the draft sentence is judged contradictory and is not supported.
- Input the handoff request and compare the action in the request with the actual node behavior. The retrieval node returns a material list, the backfill action does not appear in the node behavior, so the action is judged to require a separate system implementation and is recorded as pending implementation.
- Input the query vector model identifier and the retrieval library vector model identifier, and compare whether the two are consistent. When the identifiers differ, exclude that library and do not perform cross-model retrieval; when the identifiers are consistent, record the actual returned result, and for an empty result check the downstream alignment design against the paper input of an empty list, without asserting that a fictional rule necessarily returns an empty list.
This page addresses only Douyin storefront operations, cross-border materials and multilingual retrieval, and workflow routing. During operations handoff, which materials, actions and requests sit at which authorization status must remain explicit; retrieval and form submission cannot be treated as authorized execution.
