What the documents look like
Group-buy leader operations centre on community nodes and commission settlement. The working documents are leader agreements, commission tables, pickup lists and community announcements. In cross-border material and multilingual retrieval, these documents frequently exist in several language versions, and each version needs to be checked by language and by document type after model connections are in place. Leader agreements and commission tables carry parties, settlement cycles and authorization scope. Pickup lists and community announcements carry dates, quantities and handover status. Material updates run daily or per group, and retrieval requests tend to arise during handover and after-sales reconciliation.
Two features of this category shape the model connection step. First, the platform, the leader development staff and the fulfilment site each hold part of the record, so a retrieved passage may describe a party, a settlement period or a handover state without covering the others. Second, the same agreement or commission table may be circulated in more than one language, so a connection that works for one language version says nothing about the others. Neither feature can be resolved by the model connection itself; both require the operator to compare the retrieved text against the source material.
Constraints at the model connections step
Model connection depends on AI Proxy. From V4.17.0, AI Proxy is a required dependency. Both the App service and an Admin service that reuses App/Service configuration must set AIPROXY_API_ENDPOINT and a non-empty AIPROXY_API_TOKEN; missing either one causes startup validation to fail. Older OpenAI environment variables and single-model custom request addresses cannot substitute for these two settings.
AIPROXY_API_ENDPOINT holds the AI Proxy service root address. It does not carry /v1 or /chat/completions. AIPROXY_API_TOKEN is the administrator token, must match the server-side configuration and must not be empty. An application API key does not serve as this token.
Model capability is checked against the inputs the application actually needs. Multimodal input, tool calling and thinking configuration are verified separately. Application parameters are set in the application or node configuration; a same-named field on a compatible chat interface cannot be assumed to override orchestration. The same-vector-model requirement for a retrieval library constrains vector retrieval association only. It does not extend to business registration sites or other external systems.
Hypothetical drill sample: a community group-buy platform, on 10 March 2026, prepares a leader agreement and commission table for cross-border multilingual retrieval checking. The source material reads: "Party A is a community group-buy platform; Party B is leader Zhang. The agreement is valid from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026. Commission settles at 0.5 yuan per order, reconciled on the 5th of each month." The draft sentence to be judged reads: "This leader agreement terminated on 1 March 2026 and commission settlement has stopped." The draft sentence conflicts with the validity range in the source material and cannot be treated as a completed termination.
Configuration and implementation checks
The table below covers this page's sample and lists documented settings or implementation checks relevant to this feature and the primary task. Values are starting points for this hypothetical exercise, with the reason for the choice and the comparison object.
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Reason and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| AIPROXYAPIENDPOINT | AI Proxy service root address, no /v1 suffix | Compare against the documented root address format and confirm no path suffix |
| AIPROXYAPITOKEN | A non-empty administrator token | Compare against the AI Proxy server configuration and confirm it matches and is non-empty |
| Model types | One language model and one index model | Compare against the requirement that the system needs at least one language model and one index model |
| Model capability | Checked against the inputs the application needs | Verify multimodal input, tool calling and thinking configuration separately |
| Application parameters | Set in the application or node configuration | Compare against same-named fields on a compatible chat interface and confirm orchestration is not overridden |
| Retrieval library vector model | Check the same vector model identifier | Compare against the retrieval library identifier, exclude non-matching entries and record the observation |
Three common errors
- Filling
AIPROXY_API_TOKENwith an application API key. The input is the application API key; the comparison object is the administrator token; the observable result is a token mismatch or a failed startup validation. - Appending
/v1toAIPROXY_API_ENDPOINT. The input is the address with/v1; the comparison object is the documented root address format; the observable result is a format mismatch. - Treating the draft sentence "terminated on 1 March 2026" as a completed termination. The input is that draft sentence; the comparison object is the source agreement's validity to 31 December 2026; the observable result is a validity-range mismatch, and the item remains pending verification.
How to verify the setup
- Input the agreement source text and the draft sentence from the hypothetical sample. Compare the draft sentence's termination date against the source validity range. The observable result should be a date mismatch, judged as pending verification.
- Input the value entered for
AIPROXY_API_ENDPOINT. Compare whether it carries/v1or/chat/completions. The observable result should be a root address format. - Input the value entered for
AIPROXY_API_TOKEN. Compare whether it is empty and whether it matches the server configuration. The observable result should be non-empty and matching.
Retrieval checks observe failure branches and do not guarantee a first hit or full recall. An empty-result handover can use the explicit paper input [] to check downstream design; a fictional-rule retrieval cannot be claimed to return []. Libraries on different vector models cannot be associated together; check the identifier first, exclude non-matching entries and record the actual observation. A pending review does not demonstrate a lack of operating permission. Signing, reaching cooperation and contract effectiveness are three distinct facts. A quotation validity period does not indicate a supply period. A statement not recorded in the source, or supported only by an intermediate stage, is unsupported or pending verification, and is not a negation or a conflict.
