JD POP seller operations: conversation logs for operations handover

Review conversation logs for operations handover in JD POP seller operations. Check sources, input boundaries, error handling and repeatable test evidence.

What the documents look like

JD POP third-party store operations work around open-platform dispute rules and warranty-period service documents. The daily materials are product information sheets, dispatch-time commitments, dispute handling forms, and warranty-period service records. These materials update daily and per order, and the recurring work includes aligning dispatch times, checking buyer addresses, and submitting dispute evidence. In this task, conversation logs and audit records serve as handover evidence: when operations staff change, someone must decide which session records, run details, and feedback states can support the handover. The presence of a record does not mean authority has transferred, and it does not mean a business action has completed.

The materials listed above set the scope for what a handover reviewer can compare against. A dispute handling form states a dispute stage. A dispatch-time commitment states a promised dispatch date. A product information sheet states listing attributes. A warranty-period service record states service handling within a warranty window. Conversation records sit alongside these documents and describe what was said and which modules ran. The two families of evidence answer different questions, and a reviewer keeps them separate.

Constraints at the conversation logs step

Assume a paper exercise. A POP store after-sales supervisor plans to hand one dispute-handling conversation to an incoming operator. The material text available for comparison reads: "The session chatId is POP-2024-0912-A, its creation source is API, and its most recent update time is 12 September 2024. The dispute handling form states that the order corresponding to this session is in the 'awaiting evidence' stage. The dispatch-time commitment states a promised dispatch date of 10 September 2024." The draft sentence to be judged reads: "This session has completed evidence submission, and the incoming operator can continue handling it directly."

Under the official documents, the session list can be obtained through the get-histories interface filtered by source=api, returning fields such as chatId, updateTime, and title. The conversation list can be obtained through the pagination-records interface, returning obj, value, dataId, totalQuoteList, and totalRunningTime. A single conversation's run detail can be obtained through the get-res-data interface, returning moduleName, moduleType, runningTime, totalPoints, model, tokens, query, maxToken, historyPreview, and contextTotalLen. When detail=true, responseData holds intermediate values, and in stream mode these are separated by event. These fields describe sessions and conversation records. They do not show that the dispute handling form's evidence stage has changed, and they do not show that the handover has been authorized. Retrieval and forms collect values; business verification, approval, database writes, and external synchronization require separate implementation.

Two further constraints follow from the same documents. A chatId is a non-empty string with length under 250, and the caller must ensure it is unique. When responseChatItemId is supplied, it must be unique under the current chatId. The detail=true setting is a starting point for this paper exercise because it returns responseData; the comparison is against the detail=false response structure. Defaults, limits, and switches not stated in the documents are left out here.

Configuration and implementation checks

The table below lists official documented settings or implementation check items relevant to this feature and this task, tied to the sample above.

Configuration itemSetting or check contentRelation to the sample
appIdPass body.appId in the request body, or attach appId through the Authorization headerCheck the target application that owns the sample session
chatIdNon-empty string, length under 250, uniqueness ensured by the callerCheck whether POP-2024-0912-A is the unique session under that application
sourcePass source=api when getting the session listCheck whether the sample session belongs to the API-created source
detailSet to true to return responseData intermediate valuesCheck moduleName, runningTime, and related fields in the run detail
responseChatItemIdUnique under the current chatId when suppliedCheck whether response message IDs in the handover record repeat
loadCustomFeedbacksOptionally passed when getting the conversation listCheck whether the sample conversation carries custom feedback records

In the sample, the chatId length is under 250 and the source is API, which matches the source=api filter condition. The detail=true setting is the starting point of this paper exercise, chosen to obtain responseData and to compare against the detail=false return structure. Default values, limits, and switches not described in the documents are not listed here.

Three common errors

  1. Reading the dispute handling form's "awaiting evidence" stage as completed evidence submission. The sample text states only that the stage is awaiting evidence, while the draft sentence writes "has completed evidence submission." The two values are mutually exclusive on the same field, so the draft sentence is unsupported.
  2. Treating a retrieval result or session list as handover authorization. The get-histories interface returns fields such as chatId, updateTime, and title. It does not show that the incoming operator has obtained authority to continue handling. The authorization boundary must be confirmed separately by the business plan.
  3. Treating the responseData returned by detail=true as proof that business data has been fully retained. responseData holds module states and response results. Business fields that were not returned cannot be assumed to have been retained, and audit completion cannot be concluded from it.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input the sample chatId "POP-2024-0912-A" and the appId, call the get-histories interface with source=api, and compare whether the returned list contains that chatId with an updateTime matching the material. If the list is empty or the updateTime differs, record it as unmatched and do not infer that the session was deleted.
  2. Input the sample chatId and dataId, call the get-res-data interface, and compare whether the returned moduleType, runningTime, and historyPreview match the handover record description. If an expected module is absent from responseData, record the field as not returned and do not infer that the run failed.
  3. Compare the draft sentence "This session has completed evidence submission, and the incoming operator can continue handling it directly" word by word against the dispute handling form text "awaiting evidence." If the two take mutually exclusive values on the same field, judge the draft sentence unsupported. If the material does not state the evidence stage, record it as pending verification and keep the evidence gap open.
