What the documents look like
Warehouse picking, checking and packing handles outbound orders. It does not handle supplier arrivals, which distinguishes it from inbound put-away. The working materials are wave picking lists, checking records, shipping labels and packaging consumable sheets. Data sources named in the brief are the WMS, the order system, the electronic waybill platform and weighing equipment. Updates occur per order or per hour. These materials define the business objects that a conversation log can be compared against: one picking-and-checking handover concerns a specific wave, order, parcel and operator.
For the conversation logs and audit step, the identity of a log entry is defined jointly by appId, chatId and dataId. When chatId is a non-empty string, the system retrieves that session from the database, uses the last element of the messages array as the user question, and ignores the remaining messages. When chatId is not supplied, no context is used and the context is built entirely from the supplied messages. A responseChatItemId must be unique within the current chatId. With detail=true, intermediate values are returned; in non-stream mode the result is stored in responseData, and in stream mode it is distinguished through event. Proxying a team member identity through authProxy requires the team owner to enable it when creating or editing the key, and the proxied identity still needs permission for the target application and session. Retrieval is retrieval. A similarity score is not a permission or entity filter. The existence of a log does not amount to a completed compliance audit; reconciliation, retention and compliance requirements are carried out separately by a complete business solution.
A hypothetical drill sample: a warehouse wave picking list reads "Wave W-0715, order O-2231, picker A, 2025-07-15, quantity 12 pieces, status: picked, awaiting check." A handover request draft reads "Please enable checker B's checking permission for wave W-0715 and release it directly." The request attaches no authorization record for checker B and no supervisor release approval for W-0715. It is pending verification and does not constitute an authorization.
Constraints at the conversation logs step
The identity fields determine which business record a log can be compared against. A handover request that names wave W-0715 must be checked against the session that actually holds that wave's records, not against a session created through another entry point. The source field distinguishes API-created sessions from page sessions when listing histories: source=api returns sessions created through the API and does not return page sessions. Clearing application histories only clears sessions created through the API key and does not clear sessions from online use, share links or other sources.
When detail=true is set, responseData carries node-level values. The documented example shows a chatNode element with moduleName, moduleType, query, maxToken, historyPreview and contextTotalLen. A response that lacks a given business field cannot be treated as proof that the underlying business data was retained in full. Retrieval hits and their scores describe similarity between a query and indexed content. They do not establish that the requesting operator holds permission over the named wave, order or parcel, and they do not exclude unrelated records.
The interactive node behavior also matters for handover. When a workflow reaches an interactive node it returns directly. In stream mode the interactive configuration is available from data.interactive under event=interactive; in non-stream mode it appears as an element containing the interactive field within choices[].message.content. The interactive value returned to an external caller is a display configuration containing type and params. Internal runtime fields such as entryNodeIds, memoryEdges, nodeOutputs and nodeResponseId are not returned. If an internal children, loop or tool wrapper interaction is hit, the interface returns the deepest user-facing interactive node. Receiving an interactive configuration is not the same as the user having completed the selection or form, and it is not an approval.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Documented setting or check point | Relation to this page's sample |
|---|---|---|
| appId | Application ID; body.appId takes priority over the apiKey suffix | Check which application the handover request points to |
| chatId | Non-empty string retrieves the database session; length under 250 | Check the session holding the W-0715 handover |
| dataId | Conversation ID under a session | Check the conversation entry matching the checking record |
| detail | true returns intermediate values in responseData | Set when run detail is needed and inspect the return |
| authProxy | Requires team owner to enable; proxied identity still needs application and session permission | Check whether B holds permission for the target session |
| source | source=api returns API-created sessions | Separate API sessions from page sessions |
A hypothetical trial starting point: set pageSize to 20. The reason is that this value matches the official request example, which makes comparison against the returned total field straightforward. This is a trial starting point for this page, not an official default value.
Three common errors
- Treating the no-context behavior when chatId is not supplied as evidence that a session already exists and is authorized. Check: inspect whether the request supplies chatId; when it is absent, compare whether the messages array is used in full.
- Treating a similarity score as a permission or entity filter, so that a retrieval hit is read as authority to operate on wave W-0715. Check: inspect the returned datasetId and collectionId against the target library identifier, exclude non-matching entries, and record what was actually observed.
- Treating the awaiting-check status as already released. Check: compare the status field in the wave picking list text against the status stated in the handover request; when the status is picked and awaiting check, the release condition is not met.
How to verify the setup
- Input the hypothetical sample text and the draft sentence. Compare whether the draft states checker B's authorization record and the supervisor approval. When neither is stated, record the item as pending verification and do not determine it as authorized.
- Input a request with detail=true. Compare whether responseData contains an element with moduleType=chatNode and its query field. When it is present, the condition for viewing run detail is met. Business data that is not returned cannot be presumed to have been retained in full.
- Input a request with a non-empty chatId. Compare the chatId of the returned session against the target session. When they match, the condition for same-session checking is met. When they differ or nothing is returned, record the gap and do not perform a cross-session merge.
