What the documents look like
Convenience fresh food differs from large-format fresh counters in how ordering is handled. Stores place short-shelf-life orders at high frequency, and settlement does not follow a joint-operation revenue-share model. The main data sources are POS sales, the headquarters ordering system, store inventory, and cold-chain temperature records. Daily documents include fresh-food order forms, damage write-off forms, near-expiry handling sheets, and temperature logs. The typical roles involved are store managers, fresh-food buyers, and regional supervisors. Errors in this setting produce expired sales, stockout losses, and food-safety complaints.
For this page the scope is narrow: convenience fresh-food ordering, the operations-permission and handover task, and the workflow-routing feature. The question is which materials, actions, and requests sit in which authorization state during a handover, and where the boundary lies. A form submission is not an approval. A retrieval result is not an authorization. A pending review is not a completed review. These distinctions matter because the order form, the temperature log, and the handover request each carry their own date, shift, and status boundaries.
Constraints at the workflow routing step
The form input node is a user-interaction node. When it triggers, the conversation enters an interaction state, the workflow state is recorded, and the dialog box is hidden. The user completes the required fields and submits; the node collects the submitted form information and passes it to subsequent nodes. The user selection node is also a user-interaction node. It triggers the same interaction state, records the workflow state, and hides the dialog box. When the user makes a selection, the node evaluates that selection and executes the corresponding "yes" branch. Neither node performs order writes, document backfill, or external status synchronization; those require a separate business interface or a later process. Retrieval and similarity scores do not carry permission or entity-isolation duties, and retrieval results cannot be treated as authorization to execute.
Hypothetical paper exercise sample. The original text of a convenience store fresh-food order form dated 10 March 2025 reads: "Ordering store: Store A; order date: 2025-03-10; item: rice balls, 80 units; applicant: Store Manager A; approval status is pending regional supervisor review." The original text of the same day's temperature log reads: "Store A cold cabinet, 2025-03-10, night shift, 03:00, temperature 4°C." A draft handover request sentence reads: "Store A's 10 March rice ball order has been approved by the regional supervisor and can proceed directly to ordering." The question is whether that draft sentence is consistent with the materials.
Configuration and implementation checks
The table below lists implementation check items tied to this page's documents and main task. It does not prescribe database internals. The starting values are hypothetical for this exercise only and are not official defaults.
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting value for this exercise | Comparison method and reason |
|---|---|---|
| Form input required fields | Ordering store, order date, item, applicant, approval status | Compare field by field against the order form original text to confirm whether the material states each one |
| User selection branch | A "yes" branch set to receive approved items | Verify branch connections item by item and check whether the selection result enters the corresponding path |
| Interaction state check | Record that the node entered the interaction state | Check that the dialog box is hidden during interaction; no separate global state switch is set |
| Output handoff check | Pass collected information to a later judgment or interface node | Compare output against input item by item to confirm no field is lost |
| External action separation | Order writes and status synchronization connect to a separate business interface | Check whether the node only passes information and does not claim to complete a write |
| Retrieval scope check | Retrieve within the target scope the requester has access to | Record actual observations; no guarantee of a first hit or full recall |
The numeric starting values are explanatory for this hypothetical exercise and are not official defaults.
Three common errors
- Treating a pending review as an approval. In the sample, the order form approval status is "pending regional supervisor review," while the draft sentence states "approved by the regional supervisor." The inputs are the order form original text and the draft sentence; the compared field is approval status; when the two values differ, the draft is inconsistent with the material.
- Treating a form submission as an order write. After the form input node submits, it only passes information to subsequent nodes; an order write requires a separate business interface. The inputs are the node output and the interface call record; the comparison is whether an actual write action exists; with no interface record, that action remains unsupported.
- Treating a retrieval result as permission isolation. Retrieval and similarity do not distinguish entities or permissions. The inputs are the returned retrieval records and the target authorized scope; the comparison is whether the records fall within the scope the requester has access to; records outside that scope require manual verification.
How to verify the setup
- Check the approval status. The inputs are the sample order form original text and the draft sentence. Compare the approval status field. Consistency is satisfied only when both read "approved"; when the original text reads "pending review," the draft sentence remains unsupported.
- Check the node output handoff. The inputs are the store, date, and item fields collected by the form input node and the fields received by the subsequent node. Compare item by item. Full field transfer satisfies the condition; a missing field is recorded as a gap.
- Check the external action separation. The inputs are the node configuration description and the interface call record. Compare whether the node only passes information. An independent interface record is required to show that the write action has been implemented; with no record, that action remains unverified.
For empty-result handoff, a clearly labelled paper input of an empty list can be used to check the downstream design; a fabricated rule cannot be claimed to return an empty result. Libraries built on different vector models cannot be associated together. Check identifiers first and exclude those that do not match, then record actual observations. An unstated document field is unknown. A pending request is not an approval, an offered option is not an execution, and an unsigned termination is not a completed termination.
