What the documents look like
Brand outlet discount operations exist to clear out-of-season inventory. The category does not maintain a new-arrival full-price image, so the working documents lean toward disposal decisions rather than presentation standards. The main data sources are ERP inventory age, POS sales, outlet mall campaign information, and historical discount records. Updates arrive weekly or monthly. The day-to-day paperwork includes discount approvals, slow-moving inventory lists, price tags, and gross-margin calculation sheets.
For operations permissions and handover management, these documents carry different handover objects. A discount approval concerns a decision status. A slow-moving list concerns a stock scope. A price tag concerns a downstream artifact that follows approval. A margin sheet concerns a financial estimate. Handover work requires confirming, across these documents, who submitted, who checked, who approved, and which materials remain pending at the moment of transfer.
The form input node collects the information a user fills in and passes it to later nodes. The user selection node evaluates the user's choice and executes the corresponding branch. Both are user-interaction nodes: when triggered, the conversation enters an interaction state, the workflow state is recorded, and execution continues after the user completes the interaction. Neither node provides a business database, approval function, or authorization function.
Constraints at the interactive forms step
The four document types map to different handover objects, and a form collects field values. Whether fields are complete, whether they match existing materials, and whether business confirmation exists require manual checking or downstream implementation in an external system. The user selection node executes a branch; it is not a personnel directory or a business data selector, and a selection result does not grant permission. The interaction state records workflow state. It does not automatically judge whether submitted content is compliant, and it does not guarantee submission counts or snapshots. Retrieval and semantic recall do not perform permission isolation or entity filtering.
Hypothetical paper exercise sample: a brand outlet clearance group prepares a slow-moving list handover request dated 10 March 2025. The material text reads: "Object: 2024 autumn/winter Class A out-of-season inventory; quantity scope: 1,200 units; current status is pending operations supervisor confirmation of clearance discount; authorization boundary: internal circulation within this group only, no external channel quotation involved." A draft sentence reads: "This batch of inventory has completed discount approval and can be handed over for price tag production." Checking compares the material text with the draft sentence: the material text states only "pending operations supervisor confirmation," while the draft sentence states "has completed discount approval." These are mutually exclusive values on the same object and the same status field, so the draft sentence is not supported. If the material text does not record an approval completion date or approver, that field remains unknown.
Configuration and implementation checks
The configuration below concerns the sample above. It lists only documented settings or implementation checks. The values are hypothetical starting points for this exercise, not defaults.
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting point | Reason and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Form input node fields | Object, quantity scope, current status, authorization boundary | Set according to the four information types in the sample material text; compare field by field with the draft sentence |
| Required information check | Current status and authorization boundary set as required | Observe whether the node blocks submission when a field is missing; after completion, compare downstream output |
| User selection node branches | Two options: pending confirmation, confirmed | Set according to the sample status values; compare the selection result with the material text |
| Interaction state handling | Wait for submission after trigger | Observe whether the conversation enters the interaction state and records workflow state; do not infer submission counts |
| Downstream division of labor | Field validation and approval implemented in an external system | The node does not perform business approval; compare node output with external system records |
Three common errors
- Treating form submission as completed discount approval. In the sample, the material text states "pending operations supervisor confirmation." A submitted form still does not establish that approval is complete. Input: the sample material text and the draft sentence. Compare the same status field on the same object. Observable result: the two values are mutually exclusive, so the draft sentence is not supported.
- Treating a user selection branch as a permission grant. In the sample, selecting "confirmed" only executes the corresponding branch; it does not establish that operating permission exists. Input: the selection result and the authorization boundary in the material text. Compare whether they share the same subject and the same period. Observable result: if no authorization record exists, permission remains unestablished.
- Treating a retrieval result as an authorization basis. In the sample, retrieving the slow-moving list does not mean the list may circulate externally. Input: the retrieval return content and the authorization boundary. Compare object and scope. Observable result: if the scope exceeds "internal circulation within this group only," record the gap.
How to verify the setup
- Input the sample material text and the draft sentence. Compare "pending operations supervisor confirmation" with "has completed discount approval" on the same object and the same status field. If the two values are mutually exclusive, record the draft sentence as unsupported and pending verification. Do not treat the comparison as a completed test.
- Input the sample material text and the user selection result. Compare whether the selection branch and the authorization boundary share the same subject and the same period. If the material text does not record an approver, that field remains unknown, and permission is not established.
- Input the sample material text and the retrieval return content. Compare object and scope against "internal circulation within this group only." If the scope is exceeded, record the gap. Do not run cross-model retrieval to compare missed recalls. An empty result may be checked against downstream design using the paper input [], without claiming that a fictional rule search necessarily returns [].
This page addresses only brand outlet discount operations, operations permissions and handover management, and interactive forms. At handover, which materials, operations, and requests sit in which authorization state cannot be resolved by treating retrieval or a form as authorization execution.
