What the documents look like
Trade and FX administration centres on foreign-currency funds and the authenticity of the underlying trade background. This differs from letter-of-credit document examination, which reviews a full set of credit documents. The working materials here are foreign-exchange receipts, trade contracts, invoices and foreign-exchange business registration records. These materials are updated per transaction and per month. The most time-consuming steps are reconciling the receiving entity, completing settlement, and explaining the trade background. The entity name, amount, period and registration status across these materials together determine whether a receipt-and-settlement request can move to the next stage. In this feature, the form input node and the user selection node handle information collection and branch decisions. When either node is triggered, the conversation enters an interaction state, the workflow state is recorded, and execution continues only after the user completes the interaction.
Constraints at the interactive forms step
The form input node collects the information a user fills in and passes it to later nodes. It does not carry its own business database capability. The user selection node executes a "yes" branch based on the user's choice; it is not a personnel directory or a business data selector. Field validation, business approval, write-back and bulk operations need to be implemented in an external system or in later nodes. A retrieval result or a form result does not constitute an authorization to execute.
Hypothetical drill sample: the source material reads, "Company A submitted a foreign-exchange receipt on 10 March 2025, the payer is Company B, the amount is USD 50,000, corresponding to contract number C-2025-03, and the registration record shows that this contract has completed trade directory registration." The draft request to be judged is, "Please confirm this receipt as Company A's export payment and complete settlement into the account." The request involves the entity, the amount, the contract and the registration status, but the material does not state proof of the trading relationship between Company A and Company B, and does not state the bank's acceptance result. The request is in a pending-verification state and is not treated as approved or executed.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Form input node | Documented official behaviour | Enters the interaction state when triggered, collects required information, and passes it to later nodes |
| User selection node | Documented official behaviour | Executes the "yes" branch based on the user's choice; not a business data selector |
| Required-information check | Implementation check item | Lists the entity, amount, contract and registration-status fields that this task cannot omit |
| Interaction state recording | Documented official behaviour | Records the workflow state and waits for the interaction to complete before continuing |
| Field validation and approval | Needs a separate system implementation | Not a built-in node capability; handled by an external system or later nodes |
| Hypothetical test starting point | This assumption only | Uses USD 50,000 and contract C-2025-03 in the sample as the comparison basis, because this pair covers both the entity and the amount fields |
Three common errors
- Treating the branch result of the user selection node as business authorization. In the sample, the draft request is "confirm the receipt and complete settlement into the account." The user selection only executes a branch; it does not constitute approval or an authorization to credit the account.
- Treating field values collected by the form as verified facts. In the sample, the correspondence between payer Company B and contract C-2025-03 has no stated trading proof. A filled-in value is not the same as a verified value.
- Treating a retrieval result or a form result as a permission-isolation mechanism. The sample request concerns the entity Company A. A retrieval result is not responsible for excluding unrelated entities or unauthorized records.
How to verify the setup
- Input the sample source text and the draft request, compare whether the entity, amount and contract number in the request match the source text, and observe whether proof of the trading relationship is stated. When it is missing, record the item as pending verification and do not judge it as approved.
- Input the sample sentence "the registration record shows that this contract has completed trade directory registration," compare that registration status with the conditions required for settlement into the account, and observe whether the material states the bank's acceptance result. When it is not stated, keep the evidence gap open.
- Input a request that contains only contract number C-2025-03 without the entity and amount, compare it with the complete fields in the sample, and observe whether the required form fields are satisfied. When they are not satisfied, record the item as incomplete information and do not enter the later branch.
