What the documents look like
Outbound parcel handoff occurs at the point where a package leaves the warehouse. Responsibility at that moment turns on carrier scan events, so the operational records for this category differ from in-warehouse packing records. The primary data sources are the courier system, WMS shipment data, GB/T courier service standards, and carrier billing. Daily documents include electronic waybills, handoff lists, pickup scan records, and exception item registers. Update frequency is per batch and daily.
Two of these documents carry the state that matters for this page. The handoff list records shipment numbers, the handoff counterpart, the handoff date, and the handoff status. The exception item register records individual packages whose condition or scan state diverges from the batch. A package that has been handed over but not yet scanned by the carrier remains in a pending state. The authorization state of each handoff has to be checked line by line, because the batch list and the exception register can carry different statuses for the same shipment number.
Constraints at the interactive forms step
The form input node is a user interaction node. When it triggers, the conversation enters an interaction state, the workflow state is recorded, and execution waits until the user completes the interaction. After the user fills the required information and submits, the node collects the submitted form values and passes them to subsequent nodes. The user selection node is also a user interaction node. When it triggers, the conversation enters the interaction state, workflow state is recorded, and execution waits. When the user makes a selection, the node evaluates that selection and executes the corresponding branch.
Neither node carries a business database function. Field validation, business approval, write-back, and batch operations require implementation in an external system or in subsequent nodes. A form submission transfers the values that were filled in; it does not itself confirm a carrier pickup. A user selection executes a branch; the node is not a personnel directory or a business data selector. Retrieval and similarity settings do not act as permission filters, and retrieval does not perform authorization.
Hypothetical paper exercise sample. Source text one: this batch handoff list records shipment numbers SF-KD-0001 through SF-KD-0020, 20 pieces total, handoff counterpart is the carrier pickup agent, handoff date is 10 March 2026, handoff status is waybills printed and awaiting pickup scan. Source text two: the exception item register records that SF-KD-0007 has damaged outer packaging, and the register status is awaiting carrier confirmation. Proposed determination sentence: based on the above materials, record SF-KD-0007 as pickup completed and close the exception.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Type | What this page checks |
|---|---|---|
| Form input node | User interaction | Enters interaction state on trigger, records workflow state, passes submitted values to subsequent nodes |
| User selection node | User interaction | Enters interaction state on trigger, executes a branch based on the selection |
| Required information check | Manual review | Checks whether shipment number, handoff counterpart, handoff date, and handoff status are all present |
| Field validation | Subsequent node implementation | Validates whether submitted values fall within the scope of this handoff |
| Business approval and write-back | External system implementation | Authorization actions for pickup confirmation and exception closure |
| Interaction state record | Existing node behavior | Waits for the interaction to complete before continuing execution |
The required information check is a manual step in this exercise. No numeric threshold, menu option, or default value is documented for it, so the check compares the presence or absence of the four listed fields and records the result. Field validation and business approval are not provided by the interaction nodes; they are named here as implementation checks that must be supplied downstream.
Three common errors
- Treating a form submission as pickup confirmation. Submission passes the filled values to subsequent nodes. The authorization action that confirms pickup requires external system implementation, so a submitted form does not by itself change the handoff status.
- Treating a user selection as a personnel directory or a business data selector. The node evaluates the selection and executes a branch. It does not look up people or business records on its own.
- Treating retrieval or a similarity score as a permission filter. Retrieval does not perform authorization. An unauthorized record is not excluded because of a similarity setting, and a relevance score is not a category, entity, or permission filter.
How to verify the setup
- Input hypothetical source text one and the proposed determination sentence. Compare the phrase "pickup completed" in the request against "awaiting pickup scan" in the source. The two point to different states, so the request is not supported by the material. The expected observation is that the status field in the source remains awaiting pickup scan and no confirmation evidence is present.
- Input hypothetical source text two and the proposed determination sentence. Compare "awaiting carrier confirmation" in the register against "close the exception" in the request. The register status has not received confirmation, so the closure action lacks a basis. The expected observation is that the exception register still shows awaiting carrier confirmation.
- Input the status of SF-KD-0007 and the other 19 pieces from source text one. Compare the same field across the records. The status value for SF-KD-0007 matches the other pieces, all awaiting pickup scan. The difference appears only in the exception register, so exception closure remains pending verification. The expected observation is that the handoff status field is uniform across the batch and the exception register is the only divergent record.
Each check states what is entered, what is compared, and what observation satisfies the condition. These are paper comparisons against the hypothetical sample. No test, deployment, approval, or business action has been performed. Where the material does not state a value or a rule, the result remains unknown rather than resolved.
