What the documents look like
Douyin storefront operations centres on product cards and the store experience score. The working materials for this category are the product qualification page, the experience score breakdown, shipping violation appeals, and store announcements. These materials update daily and per order.
The category differs from live-room operations. Shelf operations do not depend on the rhythm of a single live session. The main data sources are the Douyin store workbench, the Douyin e-commerce learning centre, Selected Alliance data, and logistics interfaces. Typical practitioners are Douyin merchants, content e-commerce operators, and product card operators. Errors lead to traffic restrictions, violation points, and consumer compensation.
For operations permission and handover management, the practical question is what state a given material was in at the moment of handover, and whether a retrieval output can serve as a basis for judgement. When a handover passes on a search entry point without checking material versions and authorisation status, later work can treat a pending review as an approval.
Constraints at the citation tracing step
The knowledge base search node can associate one or more knowledge bases that share the same vector model. Its output is an array of cited content, and the length may be zero. A zero-length output still allows the downstream chain to run. Retrieval results do not by themselves constitute authorisation, and they do not confirm the state of a material. The minimum relevance value is a filtering threshold; it does not act as a permission or entity isolation function.
The following is a hypothetical paper exercise sample, used to describe a checking method. It does not refer to any real entity.
Hypothetical exercise sample: In a Douyin merchant's operations handover materials, the store announcement reads: "This store's product qualification page uses the new template from 1 March 2025; the old template stops accepting submissions on the same day." The product qualification page reads: "Qualification submission status is pending review. Review result not returned." The shipping violation appeal reads: "Appeal request submitted; platform acceptance status: in progress." The proposed determination sentence is: "This store's qualification page has passed review and the corresponding products may continue to be listed." The subject of this determination sentence is the store, the object is the qualification page, the state is pending review, and the effective scope is from 1 March 2025.
Configuration and implementation checks
The configuration below relates to the sample above and lists only the checking items relevant to this page's primary task. The numeric values are starting points for this hypothetical exercise and are not official default values.
| Configuration or check item | Hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Reason for the choice and comparison object |
|---|---|---|
| Associated knowledge bases | Include only the base containing the store announcement and the qualification page | Compare item by item against the handover material list and confirm the base identifier matches |
| Search mode | Hybrid search | Compare against full-text search results and observe whether the qualification status field is recalled |
| Citation limit | 2000 tokens as the hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Compare against the combined length of the announcement and qualification page text to avoid truncating the status field |
| Minimum relevance | 0.3 as the hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Compare against returned retrieval scores and observe whether the pending-review sentence is still recalled |
| Citation content handoff | Retrieval output feeds the answer node | Check the answer against the cited original text item by item and confirm the status word is not rewritten |
| Material version check | Use the 1 March 2025 version of the announcement | Compare against the old announcement and confirm the template effective date matches |
Three common errors
- Treating a retrieval hit as an authorisation approval. The input is the pending-review qualification page text above; the comparison object is "has passed review" in the proposed determination sentence; the observable result is that the two status fields do not match.
- Treating pending review as a lack of operating permission. The input is the qualification submission status "pending review"; the comparison object is a statement of "not authorised"; the observable result is that the original text does not state a permission conclusion.
- Treating an appeal in progress as completed. The input is the appeal acceptance status "in progress"; the comparison object is a statement of "completed"; the observable result is that the status fields differ.
How to verify the setup
- Input the store announcement and qualification page text above. Compare the proposed determination sentence against the status field in the original text. When the original reads "pending review" and the determination sentence reads "has passed review", the determination sentence is not supported.
- Input the appeal text above. Compare "in progress" against "completed". When the two do not match, the completion conclusion in the handover request remains to be verified.
- Input an empty array [] to check the downstream handoff design, and observe whether the downstream continues to run on an empty citation. Do not claim that a given rule's retrieval necessarily returns an empty array.
