Near-expiry markdowns: conversation logs for operations handover

Review conversation logs for operations handover in Near-expiry markdowns. Check sources, input boundaries, error handling and repeatable test evidence.

What the documents look like

Near-expiry markdown handling manages the shelf-stock lifecycle. This differs from weighed sorting, where each order is weighed item by item. Store inspections, ERP inventory, and quality-check records normally update by day or by shift. The working papers for a handover are the near-expiry list, the markdown approval, the damage report, and the promotional price tag. Identifying near-expiry batches, approving markdowns, and segregating unsellable goods consume much of the labor. When these materials enter a conversation system, the logs record conversation and node run data. The business authorization state still needs separate verification.

Conversation logs separate sessions by chatId and separate single conversations by dataId. Run detail is obtained through the detail parameter; non-streaming results are stored in responseData, and streaming results are distinguished by event. Retrieval results, form fields, and node status appearing in logs are run records. They do not constitute authorization for a markdown approval, a damage report, or product segregation. The session-clearing interface clears only sessions created through an API Key. It does not clear sessions from online use, share links, or other sources.

Constraints at the conversation logs step

A hypothetical drill sample: a fresh-produce store manager submits a near-expiry list during the shift of 10 March 2025. The source text reads: "Object: chilled yogurt batch A, expiry date 2025-03-12, quantity 24 boxes, proposed markdown at seventy percent, damage report not yet issued, promotional price tag not printed." The draft handover sentence reads: "This batch has completed markdown approval and unsellable goods have been segregated."

Verification compares the draft sentence with the list source text. The source text states only a proposed markdown. It does not state that approval was completed, and it does not state that segregation occurred. The completed status in the draft sentence is not supported by the materials.

Configuration and implementation checks

The table below lists verification items related to this feature and this primary task, built around the sample above. The values are hypothetical starting points for this drill, used for comparison with the sample source text.

Configuration or check itemHypothetical starting pointVerification method and reason
Session identifier chatIdSample session ID assumed as store0310Corresponds to the shift date of the near-expiry list, avoiding mixed counting across entry points
Conversation identifier dataIdSample conversation ID assumed as rec001Locates the single handover record for item-by-item comparison with the list source text
Run detail detailSet to trueIn non-streaming mode, inspect module fields inside responseData
Response message identifier responseChatItemIdAssumed as resp0310aMust be unique under the same chatId, for later retrieval
Identity proxy authProxyNot enabledEnabling requires the team owner to set it, and the proxy identity still needs target application and session permissions
Knowledge-reference scopeChecked by the documented unitReference limits use the documented unit, not a presumed item count

Three common errors

  1. Treating a retrieval result in the log as the basis for a markdown approval. Similarity is a ranking value. It does not carry permission or entity-isolation functions. The presence of a log does not equal a completed approval.
  2. Treating a form field returned by an interactive node as a business execution result. Forms collect values. Approval, damage reporting, and segregation need downstream implementation. Submitting a form does not indicate execution.
  3. Reading the session-clearing interface as clearing records from all sources. That interface clears only sessions created by an API Key. Sessions from other sources are outside its scope.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input the sample source text and the draft sentence. Compare whether "proposed markdown" and "completed markdown approval" share the same subject, the same period, and the same field. The source text does not state that approval was completed. That status in the draft sentence is unsupported, and the evidence gap must be recorded.
  2. Input the sample source text and the damage-report field. Compare the source text's "damage report not yet issued" with the segregation action asserted in the draft sentence. When neither has corresponding material, the finding is pending verification. It must not be judged as a negation or a conflict.
  3. Input the sample chatId and dataId. Obtain run detail with detail=true. Observe whether module records corresponding to the sample appear in responseData. Business fields that are not returned remain missing. Do not presume they were fully retained.

This page addresses only fresh near-expiry markdown handling, operations permission and handover management, and conversation logs and audit. During an operations handover, which materials, actions, and requests sit in which authorization state cannot be inferred from retrieval or forms. Retrieval is not authorization.
