What the documents look like
Fresh-food supplier claims pursue quality responsibility for goods at arrival. They do not handle ordinary in-store shrinkage, so the materials on this page sit at the receiving-inspection and quality-determination stage rather than at markdown or disposal. A quality exception note records the batch, the inspection conclusion and the responsible party. Photo evidence fixes the condition of the goods at arrival. A deduction notice and a claim reconciliation statement carry the amount and the period.
These materials are produced per batch and reconciled per month, so a handover has to distinguish the status of each batch individually. The documents that matter for routing are the quality exception note, the photo evidence, the deduction notice and the claim reconciliation statement. Retrieval and forms collect and pass information; they do not grant authority.
Constraints at the workflow routing step
The form input node and the user selection node are both user-interaction nodes. When either node is triggered, the conversation enters an interaction state, the workflow state is recorded, and execution continues downward after the user completes the interaction. The form input node collects the required information the user submits and passes it to later nodes. The user selection node evaluates the user's choice and executes the corresponding "yes" branch. Both nodes complete information collection and branch selection only.
Order writing, document backfill and external status synchronization require a separate business interface or a later process. The nodes themselves do not perform those business actions. Retrieval results do not constitute a permission judgment, and a relevance score does not carry entity isolation.
Hypothetical paper exercise. A fresh-food buyer raises a claim against a supplier over the arrival quality of a batch of leafy vegetables. The material text available for checking reads: "The quality exception note records the arrival date of this batch as 12 March 2024, the conclusion as failed, and the responsible party as the supplier." "The deduction notice records a deduction amount of RMB 4,800 and a status of pending supplier confirmation." "The claim reconciliation statement records a reconciliation period of March 2024, and the supplier signature field is blank." The draft sentence to be judged is: "The supplier has confirmed this deduction, and the claim reconciliation is complete." This exercise is on paper only; it has not been submitted or executed.
Configuration and implementation checks
Configuration here concerns how material status is passed and how branches are directed. It does not introduce undocumented switches or values.
| Configuration item | Type | What to check on this page |
|---|---|---|
| Form input node | Interaction node | Collect required information such as batch, arrival date and deduction amount; pass it to later nodes after submission |
| User selection node | Interaction node | Pose the choice of whether to enter claim confirmation; execute the "yes" branch after the user chooses |
| Interaction state recording | Node behaviour | Triggering an interaction node records the workflow state; no separate global state switch is set |
| Output handover | Node connection | Pass collected information explicitly to later retrieval, judgment or interface nodes; compare input and output item by item |
| External action split | Later process | Order writing, document backfill and external status synchronization connect to a business interface; the nodes do not perform them |
| Hypothetical exercise starting point | Manual check item | Use the deduction notice status "pending supplier confirmation" as the starting point for this check, compared against the blank signature field on the reconciliation statement |
Reason for the hypothetical starting point: the material text already records the deduction notice status as pending supplier confirmation, so choosing it as the starting point allows direct comparison with the signature field on the reconciliation statement. This is the starting point of this paper exercise, not an official default value.
Three common errors
- Treating pending confirmation as confirmed. The deduction notice status is "pending supplier confirmation" and the supplier signature field is blank. If the draft sentence says "the supplier has confirmed this deduction," the input and the source status do not match. The comparison is between the notice status and the signature field; the observable result is that the draft sentence contradicts the source text.
- Treating a recorded reconciliation period as a completed claim. The reconciliation statement records a period of March 2024 and a blank signature. If the claim reconciliation is treated as complete on this basis, the input is the period field and the signature field. The comparison is between "the period is recorded" and "signing is complete," which are two different facts; the observable result is that the draft sentence goes beyond what the source text supports.
- Treating retrieval or a form as authority. The form collected the deduction amount and the user selection executed the "yes" branch. These show only that information was collected and a branch was chosen. If the deduction is treated as executed on this basis, the input is the node output. The comparison is between node behaviour and a business action; the observable result is that the node did not perform order writing or external synchronization.
How to verify the setup
- Check the draft sentence "The supplier has confirmed this deduction, and the claim reconciliation is complete" clause by clause. The input is the material text above and the draft sentence. Compare the deduction notice status, the reconciliation signature field and the wording of the draft sentence. The observable result is that "has confirmed" does not match the source status "pending supplier confirmation," and "reconciliation is complete" does not match the blank signature field. The expectation is to identify that the sentence is unsupported and to keep the evidence gap open.
- Check the handover request "Please proceed with the subsequent deduction on the basis of confirmed status." The input is this request and the source text of the deduction notice status. Compare the status the request relies on with the status recorded in the source. The observable result is that the request assumes confirmation while the source status is pending confirmation, so the premise of the request is unsupported. The expectation is to record it as pending verification and not to proceed.
- Check the branch connection. The input is the form input node output and the user selection node branch configuration. Compare whether the collected fields are passed completely to later nodes and whether the selection result is connected to the corresponding branch. The observable result is that when a field is missing or a branch is not connected, the output and the input do not agree. The expectation is to compare item by item and record unconnected points as configuration gaps.
All of the above are paper checks. Nothing has been run, submitted or approved.
