What the documents look like
Cross-border platform settlement and foreign exchange work concerns the collection of funds from already-completed orders. It does not handle fraud chargebacks, which belong to a different control area. The working data comes from the platform settlement center, bank statements, payment institution back ends, and ERP orders. The recurring materials are platform settlement statements, exchange rate tables, service fee invoices, and receipt reconciliation tables. These materials are updated weekly or monthly, and that cadence matters for handover because an operations handover often happens between one settlement cycle and the next.
The settlement statement, the exchange rate table, and the reconciliation table belong to different parties and different periods. A comparison only holds when the subject, the period, and the field are the same. When any one of those three conditions is missing, the item is recorded as pending verification. Operations handover happens between finance staff and operations staff. The handover materials, the operation requests, and the authorization state are recorded separately. Log retention and compliance audit are delivered by a complete business solution, and the existence of a conversation log does not by itself complete a compliance audit.
Constraints at the conversation logs step
At the conversation log and audit step, the target conversation is checked against the business record through chatId. Conversations created through different entry points are not added together. When run details are needed, detail is set according to the official contract, and the module status and complete results inside responseData are inspected. The fields the interface actually returns are the fields the log can be checked against. Business data that is not returned cannot be assumed to have been retained in full. The identity fields used in a test mode can differ from those in a formal call, so the input, the history, and the returned content are checked separately. Retrieval and similarity do not carry permission or entity isolation, and the same-vector-model requirement for a retrieval library does not extend to external systems.
Hypothetical drill sample: a cross-border seller's finance team is handing over a platform settlement statement for March 2025. The source text of the material reads: "Settlement entity: a trading company in Shenzhen; settlement period: 1 March 2025 to 31 March 2025; settlement currency: US dollars; total service fee: USD 120.00." A draft sentence in the handover request reads: "The service fee on this settlement statement has been confirmed by operations and paid." The source text does not state a payment status or an operations confirmation record. The draft sentence is unsupported, and the evidence gap is kept open.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Check item | Documented setting or implementation check | Hypothetical trial starting point and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Conversation identifier | When chatId is a non-empty string, the session is taken from the database and the last item in messages is used as the user question | Starting point is the handover chatId pending check, compared item by item against the target conversation record |
| Run details | When intermediate values are needed, detail=true is set; in non-stream mode the result is held in responseData | Starting point is detail=false; after changing to true, compare whether module fields appear in responseData |
| Key identity | appId priority is body.appId, then apiKey-appId, then the appId associated with the apikey | Starting point is body.appId passed in the request body, compared with the result parsed from the authorization header |
| Proxy identity | authProxy must be enabled by the team owner when the key is created or edited, and the proxy identity still needs permission on the target app and session | Starting point is not enabled; after enabling, check whether the proxy identity holds permission on the target session |
| Conversation records | The conversation list request can pass loadCustomFeedbacks to read custom feedback | Starting point is not passing the parameter; after passing it, compare whether the returned list contains feedback fields |
| Conversation title | updateHistory accepts customTitle for a custom conversation name | Starting point is an empty customTitle, compared with the title field returned by the conversation list |
Three common errors
- Treating retrieval results as an authorization basis. The input is a quoteList returned by one knowledge base retrieval, and the comparison object is the permission record of the target session. Judging that the record may be handed over because a similarity score is high is an error. The check is to compare chatId against the permission record and observe whether the two agree.
- Writing a pending request as already executed. The input is the draft sentence "The service fee has been confirmed by operations and paid," and the comparison object is the source text of the settlement statement. The source text does not state a payment status, so judging it as completed is an error. The check is to record it as unsupported and observe whether the corresponding field appears in the source text.
- Mixing conversations from different entry points. The input is a chatId created through the API and a chatId from a page session, and the comparison object is the two conversation records. Combining them to count conversations is an error. The check is to list them separately and compare the source fields.
How to verify the setup
- For the draft sentence in the hypothetical sample, the input is the settlement statement source text and the draft sentence, and the comparison object is whether the source text states a payment status and an operations confirmation record. The observed result is that the source text states neither, so the judgment is unsupported and cannot be recorded as paid.
- For run details, the input is two requests under the same chatId with detail=false and detail=true, and the comparison object is whether module fields appear in responseData. The observed result is that module status and complete results appear when detail=true, which satisfies the condition.
- For empty-result handling, the input is a paper-given empty reference list [], and the comparison object is whether the downstream design handles it as an empty result. The observed result is that the downstream design does not treat the empty list as matched content, which satisfies the condition. No claim is made that a fabricated rule retrieval necessarily returns an empty list.
