What the documents look like
For product questions in B2B marketplaces, this page examines FastGPT citation tracing. A threaded-joint note supports connection type; a grey display observation leaves normal supply colour unresolved. The examples are hypothetical.
Constraints at the citation tracing step
In this proposed selection exercise, a connection note says that the main unit uses a threaded joint and that accessories are listed separately. A sample observation records only a grey display unit. A question about both the joint and standard supply colour therefore contains separate evidence needs. The joint can be traced to the connection note, while standard colour still needs a supply specification. Combining the observation with the joint passage would incorrectly make one technical source appear to establish both properties. The observation also leaves the range of purchasable colours open. It says nothing about how displayed accessories relate to supply. Objects appearing together in a display therefore cannot expand the delivery list. A source that identifies the supplied configuration is needed before those relationships can be established.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Task check | Material condition | Evidence action |
|---|---|---|
| Joint type | Structural sentence in connection note | Trace the threaded connection wording. |
| Colour status | Display observation separated from supply standard | Obtain a source for normal supply colour. |
| Passage content | Citation array contains the joint sentence | Inspect text actually supplied to the answer. |
| Accessory condition | Accessories listed separately | Keep the scope qualification and source. |
| Empty-reference investigation | No joint passage supplied in this run | Inspect search scope and passage transfer. |
Documented conditions
| Documented item / implementation check | Condition |
|---|---|
Associated knowledge bases | Knowledge bases associated with one search node must use the same embedding model. |
Citation output | The output is an array; an empty array can continue. |
Citation input handoff | Inspect citations actually received by the answer step. |
Citation display check | Trace displayed sources to their originals. |
Document-validity check | Inspect source identity and applicable version separately. |
Three common errors
Inspect each answer attribute against the wording actually supplied as a citation. One common error is treating a sample sheet headed specification as proof of normal supply conditions without checking its scope. Another failure occurs when the citation array is populated, but the text passed to the answer includes only the accessory sentence and omits the joint description. The first case requires source identity and applicability checks; the second requires inspection of the actual cited passage rather than a count of references. A third error treats an empty reference array for colour as proof that no supply-colour material exists. Inspect the current source scope and passage-transfer record to distinguish missing transfer from a document not obtained, without turning that run result into a source-existence conclusion.
How to verify the setup
Proposed acceptance questions should separately cover the connection, standard colour and included accessories. Retain the answer, the cited wording and the material still needed for each question. The connection claim should trace to the structural description; grey should remain a sample observation, and accessories should retain their separately listed condition. An empty citation array warrants investigation of search scope and passage transfer. It does not establish that a supply sheet never existed, and it cannot supply a specification absent from the available wording.
