What the documents look like
For product questions in MCN operations, this page examines FastGPT hybrid retrieval. Compare the material received with the sources used in the answer. The examples are hypothetical.
Constraints at the hybrid retrieval step
Candidates for an influencer product question should reach the contractual scope of permitted promotion. Where the proposed contract lists product types, test a natural question about permitted products alongside the category words used in the clause. Record whether the retrieved passage includes the scope and its restrictions. Reranking needs the complete question. A training record or adjacent business passage appearing first must not displace the clause that defines the reading scope. This test checks text coverage, without executing an approval.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Item or implementation check | Input or applicable condition | Traceable check |
|---|---|---|
| Fused candidates | Beauty scope in the contract and digital stream in scheduling | Identify the source of each category statement. |
| Complete question | Permitted promotion categories and scheduled content | Keep contractual scope in the question about the planned stream. |
| Minimum relevance | Inspect filtering under semantic or reranking conditions | Check whether filtering removes the contractual restriction. |
| Citation token limit | Retain the scope clause and its restriction | Do not reduce the beauty limitation to unrestricted promotion. |
| Missing-source retest | Commission wording lacks model-specific promotion requirements | Trace the added clause after obtaining model information. |
Documented conditions
| Documented item / implementation check | Condition |
|---|---|
Hybrid retrieval | Vector and full-text results use RRF fusion. |
| Reranking | Reranking reorders candidates using the full question. |
Minimum relevance | Filtering applies to semantic search or reranking. |
Citation limit | Citation content is limited by tokens. |
Question optimization | Compare subjects and restrictions after optimization. |
Three common errors
The proposed contract allows beauty products, while account scheduling assigns a digital-product stream. Inspect both statements together. Check whether candidates contain the relevant influencer and category descriptions, then look for a contractual restriction omitted after sorting. A schedule passage matching “digital-product stream” cannot establish that the contract permits it. If a token-based citation limit removes the restriction, retain the omitted location, adjust the limit and repeat the same question with both sources traceable. Assign an explicit source role to the contractual restriction and the planned stream. The answer should make clear what each passage supports; citing the schedule alone leaves the contractual scope unresolved, even where the stream description closely matches the query.
How to verify the setup
A contract describing commission settlement does not directly supply requirements for promoting a specific model. Register this gap instead of seeking a model restriction through a higher rank for the same clause. After receiving applicable promotion material, inspect whether its terms enter candidates and reach citations. Compare the original and optimized questions as well, ensuring that a model-specific request has not become an unsupported conclusion about permission to promote the product.
