What the documents look like
For product questions in Omnichannel stock transfers, this page examines FastGPT vector indexes. A channel alias and a direct-store specification need an explicit subject relationship. The examples are hypothetical.
Constraints at the vector indexes step
A proposed omnichannel product exercise names a lightweight version in a channel table, a folding stand in a direct-store specification and a transfer note allowing searches by channel alias. A folding question about lightweight lacks a relationship between those subjects. The alias provides a lookup description and the technical page describes one stand. An entry converting lightweight into folding would make marketing language a technical property. Preserve channel, specification and transfer-purpose identities rather than treating familiar meanings or successful alias lookup as completed product correspondence.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Original-data/index check | Specific subject relationship | Acceptance action |
|---|---|---|
| Channel alias | Lightweight version | Do not infer folding. |
| Technical subject | Direct-store folding stand | Check item identity. |
| Lookup purpose | Search by alias | Do not treat as verified correspondence. |
| Cross-channel target | Same name may identify another channel item | Check channel and subject. |
| Added mapping | Cross-reference and older entry | Compare actual adoption in citations. |
Documented conditions
| Documented item / implementation check | Condition |
|---|---|
Embedding model | Knowledge bases associated with one search node must use the same embedding model. |
Original data and indexes | One original data block can have multiple indexes. |
Index content | Index wording should be complete and focused. |
Image indexes | Where image retrieval is used, inspect descriptions or image vectors. |
Version and result check | After a change, reuse questions to compare originals. |
Three common errors
First, a lightweight entry may add folding; inspect specification evidence for the actual channel item. Second, a channel entry may target a similarly named item from another channel; inspect target channel and item identity. Third, after a cross-reference is supplied, the older entry may retain its guessed target; inspect the new relationship, index mapping and actual citation. These require attribute provenance, channel subject and update adoption separately. An alias, common brand or successful query cannot establish that the two originals describe one physical product.
How to verify the setup
Acceptance should ask what the channel calls its item, what the direct-store page describes and whether explicit correspondence exists. Keep sources visible. Their separate wording can be explained while the lightweight item structure remains unresolved. Later mappings need period and item scope checked before processing and index review, followed by same-question adoption testing. Multiple entries for one original do not permit automatic merging of different channel sources into a single product. Every lookup route must still return to the specific subject whose relationship is actually supported by the supplied correspondence.
