What the documents look like
Overseas warehouse replenishment draws on the overseas warehouse WMS, ERP sales forecasts, freight forwarder systems, and carrier bills. The brief rates this data as roughly weekly or daily. Compared with Amazon FBA replenishment, a third-party overseas warehouse can serve several channels, and the seller allocates stock across those channels. This affects product information and selection questions at the workflow routing step: one replenishment plan, one inbound appointment, one inventory age report, or one last-mile delivery note may map to stock belonging to different channels. When the workflow collects material, it has to ask for channel, warehouse, and stock owner together, because otherwise downstream nodes receive values that cannot be tied to a specific stock record. The four document types named for this category are the replenishment plan, the inbound appointment, the inventory age report, and the last-mile delivery note.
Constraints at the workflow routing step
The Form Input node is a user interaction node. When it triggers, the conversation enters an interaction state, the workflow state is recorded, and execution continues after the user completes the interaction. After submission, the node collects the form values the user entered and passes them to later nodes. The User Selection node is also a user interaction node. When it triggers, the conversation enters the interaction state and the workflow state is recorded. When the user makes a choice, the node evaluates that choice and executes the corresponding branch. The interaction state is recorded by the interaction nodes; there is no separate global state switch described in the documentation.
Values collected through these nodes must be passed explicitly to later retrieval, judgment, or interface nodes, and the output must be compared item by item against the input. Order writing, document backfill, and external status synchronization require a separate business interface or a later process. Retrieval and forms do not constitute authorization to execute. A pending appointment request is not an approved appointment, an offered option is not an executed action, and an unsigned termination is not a completed termination.
Hypothetical paper exercise sample: a replenishment plan reads, "Principal: an overseas warehouse operator; Object: replenishment of SKU-A at the US West warehouse; Status: plan submitted, inbound appointment not yet made; Effective scope: week 10 to week 12 of 2025." A draft sentence awaiting judgment reads, "SKU-A has received inbound appointment approval." Under the source text, a submitted plan does not equal an approved inbound appointment, so the draft sentence is unsupported.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Reason and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Required form fields | Channel, warehouse, SKU, plan period | Aligned with the four elements in the replenishment plan text; a missing element leaves later nodes unable to locate the stock record |
| User selection branches | Two branches by warehouse | Compared with the single-warehouse scope "US West warehouse" in the source text; with multiple warehouses, check each branch connection |
| Output receiving node | Retrieval node receives form output | Compare the retrieval input fields against the submitted form fields for item-by-item correspondence |
| Interaction state check | Enters interaction state on trigger | Compared with the documented behavior of interaction nodes; no additional switch is set |
| External action split | Inbound appointment writing connects to a separate interface | Compared with the source status "inbound appointment not yet made"; the form does not produce an appointment result |
| Empty result handling | Paper input [] | Check whether the downstream design handles an empty list; do not claim a fictional rule must return [] |
Three common errors
- Treating form submission as inbound appointment approval. Input: the sample source text "plan submitted, inbound appointment not yet made." Comparison: the draft sentence "has received inbound appointment approval." Observable result: the status fields do not match, and the draft sentence is unsupported.
- Treating retrieval relevance as a permission filter. Input: a retrieval request. Comparison: the documented meaning of relevance. Observable result: relevance does not carry entity or permission isolation, and unauthorized records still require business-side checking.
- Treating a user selection branch as an automatic judgment. Input: the User Selection node. Comparison: the documented behavior that the "yes" branch executes after the user makes a choice. Observable result: the branch is driven by the user's choice and does not execute when no choice is made.
How to verify the setup
- Input the sample source text and the draft sentence. Compare the status field "plan submitted" against "has received approval." The observable result is that the draft sentence is unsupported, and the evidence gap must be recorded.
- Input the form output fields and the retrieval node input fields. Compare whether the two correspond item by item. The observable result is that receiving holds when the fields match, and an unsupported gap is recorded when a field is missing.
- Input the paper empty result []. Compare whether the downstream node is designed to handle an empty list. The observable result is that receiving holds when the downstream has a defined empty-value branch, and a gap is recorded when no such design exists.
