What the documents look like
On-demand retail store fulfillment processes online orders by the minute rather than through periodic stock counts. The operational data comes from Douyin on-demand retail, Meituan or JD Daojia backends, store inventory, and rider tracking. The daily documents are instant orders, picking lists, out-of-stock reports, and delivery exception forms. The conversation logs and audit step handles the session identifiers, dialogue records, and run details these business conversations leave at the interface layer. Orders are generated per order, and logs accumulate order by order. Audit comparison needs to place dialogue records and the corresponding order materials inside the same session scope.
A practical consequence is that dialogue identity depends on chatId as the session identifier and dataId as the identifier of one dialogue under a session, while appId points to the application. Comparing a target dialogue with a business record requires locating both through these identifiers, and sessions from different entry points cannot be counted together. When run details from the conversation interface are needed, detail is set according to the official contract and responseData is checked. When detail is false, intermediate values are not returned. The fields actually returned by the interface form the basis for comparison, and business data that is not returned cannot be treated as fully retained.
Constraints at the conversation logs step
The constraints follow from the identifiers and return behavior described in the official documents. chatId is a non-empty string under 250 characters when it is used to pull a session from the database; the final message in the messages array is used as the user question and other messages are ignored. responseChatItemId must be unique under the current chatId. The detail field controls whether intermediate values and complete results are returned, and in non-stream mode the results are stored in responseData. The source field with source=api retrieves sessions created through the API, which does not include sessions on the page. loadCustomFeedbacks controls whether custom feedback is read.
Hypothetical paper exercise sample: a supermarket home-delivery store processes one instant order on 12 March 2025 at 14:05. The picking list text reads "Order A requires picking 3 items, of which 1 is out of stock, and a substitution inquiry has been sent to the customer." The dialogue record exported from the customer service system reads "Session chatId is c-0312-1405, customer reply: accepts substitution with another brand of the same specification." A handover request awaiting judgment reads "Mark this session as out-of-stock compensation completed and close after-sales." This request lacks an authorization record for the compensation execution and the closing operation, and it is an item pending verification.
Configuration and implementation checks
The configuration below stays with the sample and lists only documented settings or implementation checks tied to this feature and the primary task. The "hypothetical trial starting value" column is a paper comparison starting point chosen for the sample, not an official default.
| Configuration item | Documented content | Hypothetical trial starting value and reason |
|---|---|---|
| appId | Application ID, obtainable from the application detail path | Sample application identifier, used to bound session ownership |
| chatId | Non-empty string pulls the session from the database, length under 250 | Sample session c-0312-1405, used to locate this order dialogue |
| dataId | ID of one dialogue under a session | Take the customer reply record inside this session |
| detail | Whether intermediate values and complete results are returned | Set to true to obtain responseData for comparison |
| source | Dialogue source; source=api retrieves API-created sessions | Set to api to bound the comparison scope |
| loadCustomFeedbacks | Whether custom feedback is read | Set to true to inspect the feedback field on this dialogue |
Three common errors
- Treating a session identifier as business authorization. In the sample, chatId only locates the dialogue and cannot be used to conclude that compensation is complete or that after-sales can be closed. Compensation execution and the closing operation require a separate authorization record.
- Treating retrieval or a form as authorized execution. Finding the substitution inquiry in the dialogue record does not mean customer consent has taken effect, and it does not mean the out-of-stock report has been submitted. A form collects values, and business confirmation and database writes need downstream implementation.
- Treating a relevance score as a permission or entity filter. similarity and score indicate retrieval relevance only. They do not exclude unrelated business or unauthorized records, and retrieval is not authorization.
How to verify the setup
- Input the sample picking list text and the dialogue record text, then compare whether the session chatId matches and whether the customer reply falls inside the same session. If chatId matches and the reply content can be located, the dialogue identity check meets the condition. If chatId is missing or points to another session, record it as unsupported.
- Input a request with detail=true and the returned responseData, then compare whether the returned fields include the run details of this dialogue. If responseData contains the corresponding node record, the run-detail check meets the condition. If detail is false or the field is missing, record it as not returned and do not assume retention.
- Input the handover request "mark out-of-stock compensation completed and close after-sales," then compare whether a compensation execution record and a closing authorization exist in the materials. If both are missing, record it as pending verification. Only when the same subject, same period, and same field carry mutually exclusive values does it count as a contradiction.
A pending request is not approval, an offered option is not execution, and an unsigned termination is not a completed termination. Retrieval is not authorization, and the existence of a log does not by itself complete a compliance audit. Reconciliation, retention, and compliance requirements belong to a full business plan implemented separately.
