Peak-sale fulfillment: HTTP integrations for after-sales questions

Review HTTP integrations for after-sales questions in Peak-sale fulfillment. Check sources, input boundaries, error handling and repeatable test evidence.

What the documents look like

Peak-sale warehouse and delivery scheduling centers on short-term peak capacity and the arrangement of people, vehicles and dock space. The working materials are the peak-sale forecast table, the temporary staffing roster, the courier support plan and the exception daily report. These materials update per campaign and per day. In the order fulfillment and after-sales question step, staff cross-check the forecast, the roster, the courier plan and the daily exception log against each other, then answer questions about what is scheduled, what is confirmed and what is still open.

The HTTP integration step carries a narrower responsibility. It sends a FastGPT workflow result to an external business service and brings the external return value back into the conversation. The materials describe business facts. Whether an interface call is permitted, whether a form has been approved, and whether an external system has already been written are separate facts. A retrieval hit or a submitted form does not establish any of them.

The forecast table, the roster and the courier plan are usually prepared before the campaign window opens. The exception daily report is filled during the campaign. This difference matters for after-sales answers: a plan value and an execution record are not the same kind of evidence, and the two are frequently confused when a reply is drafted quickly.

Constraints at the HTTP integrations step

The HTTP module sends a request to a given address. Params, Headers and Body each support {{}} references to global variables, system variables and upstream node outputs. The URL can also carry variables. When a string is referenced inside Body, quotation marks must be added around the placeholder; numbers, booleans, arrays and objects are expanded according to the JSON structure. Return values are extracted with JSON path syntax, and when the output type is set to string, the value at the corresponding key is converted into a JSON string.

Among the system variables, chatId and responseChatItemId do not exist in test mode. An empty value observed during debugging is a property of test mode and does not indicate a business fault. Credentials such as Authorization are injected through secure configuration; public examples do not contain real keys. The HTTP module sends the request and parses the response. Database writes, approval routing and external synchronization require the external service to implement them. A successful interface response does not establish that a business action has been completed.

Hypothetical drill sample: the handover material for one peak-sale campaign reads, "This peak-sale campaign is the June 18, 2025 event. The June 17 temporary staffing roster for Warehouse A has been signed and confirmed by the warehouse manager. The courier support plan records 12 pickup vehicles for June 18. The exception daily report as of June 16, 18:00 records one sorting line stoppage." The draft sentence to be assessed is, "The 12 pickup vehicles for June 18 have all arrived according to the support plan." The draft sentence turns a plan figure into an arrival fact. The material only shows that the plan states 12 vehicles; no arrival confirmation record is provided.

Configuration and implementation checks

Configuration itemHypothetical starting point for this drillReason and comparison method
Request addressAddress given in the external interface documentCompare character by character against the interface document; the address may contain variables
Request methodChosen according to the external interface contractCompare against the method declared in the interface document
Header authorizationInjected through secure configurationCompare against key management rules; public examples contain no real values
Body structureJSON structure defined by the external interface contractCompare field by field against the interface document
Variable referencesGlobal variables or upstream node outputsCompare item by item against the values actually passed in, confirming type match
Return value extractionTarget field extracted by JSON pathCompare path and output type against the interface response example

These values are starting points for this paper drill. They are not official defaults. The comparison objects are the external interface document and the material text used in this drill.

Three common errors

  1. Treating a plan figure as an arrival fact. The input is the support plan text "12 pickup vehicles for June 18." The comparison object is an arrival confirmation record. If the material contains no arrival confirmation record, the draft sentence is not supported.
  2. Treating an empty chatId in test mode as a business fault. The input is the empty value returned in test mode. The comparison object is the chatId value in a formal session. If the field is empty in test mode and populated in a formal call, the empty value is a test-mode property rather than a business fault.
  3. Treating a successful HTTP response as a completed external business action. The input is the interface response. The comparison object is the business status record in the external system. If the external system holds no corresponding status change record, whether the business action has been completed remains to be verified.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input the hypothetical sample text and the draft sentence "The 12 pickup vehicles for June 18 have all arrived according to the support plan." Compare whether the source text contains an arrival confirmation record. If the source text states only the vehicle count and holds no arrival confirmation, the draft sentence is not supported.
  2. Input the empty chatId and responseChatItemId values from test mode. Compare whether the same fields carry values in a formal session. If the formal session carries values while test mode is empty, the empty value is confirmed as a test-mode property.
  3. Input the HTTP response and the external system business status record. Compare whether both point to the same business action. If the response reports success while the external system holds no status change record, the completion state of the business action remains to be verified.
