What the documents look like
Community group-buy leader operations centre on community pickup nodes and commission management. The work does not directly involve cold-chain quality inspection. The documents handled day to day are leader agreements, commission tables, pickup lists and community announcements. Data comes from the community group-buy back office, leader chat groups, order details and after-sales records, and it updates daily or per group. Errors in this area lead to leader attrition, wrong or missing deliveries, and neighbourhood complaints.
This page addresses only one task: citation tracing during order fulfilment and after-sales question answering. The question here is whether retrieved material actually supports a drafted sentence or a handover request, and what authorization state that material is in. Retrieval brings material back. It does not authorize an action. A form collects values; business verification, approval, database writes and external synchronization each require their own downstream implementation.
Constraints at the citation tracing step
The knowledge base search node can associate one or more knowledge bases that share the same vector model. Its citation output is an array, and the length may be zero, meaning the output path still completes even when nothing is found. The citation limit controls, in tokens, the maximum amount of content cited per search. The minimum relevance value applies only during semantic retrieval or result reranking; it is a filtering threshold and does not perform permission or entity isolation. Hybrid retrieval merges multiple result paths through RRF. Reranking requires a model and must be enabled in settings. Image retrieval requires image input and matching model capability. These optional paths in the overall flow are not executed on every request.
A hypothetical paper exercise sample is set out here. The leader agreement original text states: "This agreement takes effect on the date both parties sign, valid until 31 December 2025." The pickup list original text states: "3 November 2025, Community A self-pickup point, eggs 30 boxes, status is awaiting pickup." The community announcement original text states: "Eggs have arrived at the Community A self-pickup point on 3 November; please collect before 18:00 today." The drafted sentence to be judged is: "The eggs at the Community A self-pickup point were picked up on 3 November, so no after-sales follow-up is needed." Judging whether this sentence is supported requires comparing the same subject, the same period and the same field.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Check item | Hypothetical starting point for this exercise | Reason and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Associated knowledge bases | Associate only the four knowledge bases: leader agreement, commission table, pickup list, community announcement | First check whether the identifiers share the same vector model; exclude those that do not; do not run cross-model retrieval |
| Search mode | Hybrid retrieval | Number and date queries rely on full-text hits; natural-language questions rely on semantic recall; merged through RRF |
| Citation limit | Hypothetical starting point 3000 tokens | This value is a starting point for this exercise, not an official default; adjust after comparing with the original text length the drafted sentence needs |
| Minimum relevance | Hypothetical starting point 0.5 | This value is a starting point for this exercise, not an official default; compare with retrieval result scores; applies only during semantic retrieval or reranking |
| Citation handover | Pass the citation array item by item to the after-sales drafting step | Check the answer against the cited original text; do not substitute answer fluency for source evidence |
| Document currency check | Retrieve with the current and historical versions of the leader agreement separately | Whether to adopt a citation still requires review against the valid version; a retrieval hit does not equal a valid version |
Three common errors
- Reading "awaiting pickup" on the pickup list as "picked up". The input is the pickup list original text above and the drafted sentence. Compare the same field "status"; only mutually exclusive values in that field constitute a contradiction. The drafted sentence is not supported, and the evidence gap must be recorded.
- Treating a retrieval hit as authorized execution. The input is the retrieval output array. Compare it with the boundary between manual verification actions and downstream business implementation. A hit means only that material was retrieved; approval, writing and synchronization still await their respective implementations.
- Treating an empty citation array as an error. The input is the paper input []. Compare the downstream handover design. Array length may be zero and the path still completes; whether an error is raised depends on downstream design, and the documents do not state an automatic judgment.
How to verify the setup
- Input the leader agreement and pickup list original text above together with the drafted sentence. Compare the subject, date and status fields of the drafted sentence against the corresponding fields in the original text. Judge a contradiction only when the same field shows clearly mutually exclusive values; otherwise record it as unsupported or pending verification.
- Input the community announcement original text above and the phrase "no after-sales follow-up is needed". Compare whether the announcement states an after-sales handling conclusion. When the announcement does not state one, record the gap and do not fabricate authorization or effective clauses.
- Input the paper citation array []. Compare whether the downstream after-sales step is designed to accept an empty array. Observe whether the output path completes. Do not claim that a fictional rule retrieval necessarily returns [].
