What the documents look like
For procurement in MCN operations, this page examines FastGPT vector indexes. A brand named on demonstration samples does not establish the supplier identity required by a procurement catalogue. The examples are hypothetical.
Constraints at the vector indexes step
An MCN procurement-source test can use a new account-schedule attachment: “Brand A samples are for this stream’s demonstration only; a supplementary product list will be submitted separately.” The text concerns sample use and a missing list, without establishing that samples can be resold. Inspect whether the index points to an original retaining the stream-only restriction, then retrieve separately for sample use and list scope to identify which part the available material supports. Brand A identifies the brand in this attachment, not ownership of the samples after demonstration or an available purchasing relationship. A procurement-catalogue entry needs original product entries applicable to the purchase. Treating the displayed brand as a supplier would expand both the stated use and the party role without supporting wording.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Item or implementation check | Original or index content | Traceable evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Associated models | List and schedule bases associated with the same retrieval node | Check the same embedding model across bases associated with that node. |
| Original mapping | Demonstration-only use and a list not yet submitted | Do not invent resale or catalogue conclusions. |
| Index content | Sample use and product-list scope | Inspect the support actually available for each. |
| Source identity | Influencer contract and brand sample record | Do not merge their roles into one party. |
| Image review | Missing list later supplied as an image | Check the actual processing chain, its content and citations. |
Documented conditions
| Documented item / implementation check | Condition |
|---|---|
Embedding model | Knowledge bases associated with one search node must use the same embedding model. |
Original data and indexes | One original data block can have multiple indexes. |
Index content | Index wording should be complete and focused. |
Image indexes | Where image retrieval is used, inspect descriptions or image vectors. |
Version and result check | After a change, reuse questions to compare originals. |
Three common errors
A search entry labelled “Brand A supply catalogue” requires checking whether an actual catalogue was supplied, rather than a reference to a future submission. Related terms cannot provide supplier qualification or a product list. Compare the index with the schedule wording for an invented catalogue claim. If an influencer agreement is also ingested, retain its independent identity instead of combining contractual roles and the brand’s sample source into one party. A list promised for later submission supplies no actual product entries. An index can locate that reference. A question asking for supplied products requires the list itself, with the added original retained separately from the earlier schedule attachment. A third error keeps the catalogue entry pointing to the old schedule after the product list is added. Inspect the new original and entry target, comparing actual same-question citations. Obtaining the list does not establish automatic retargeting of the older index or make a brand reference into a product entry.
How to verify the setup
Preserve the unresolved state until the supplementary list is obtained. Inspect its original data and indexes, then compare citations for the same product-scope question; the number of indexes does not establish complete coverage. If the list originates as an image, establish the actual processing chain. Compare extracted text on a text path, and inspect descriptions or vectors only for actual image retrieval. Rephrasing a question does not establish that the list was processed correctly. Sample provision and product procurement need their respective business support, checked within the sources actually supplied.
