TikTok Shop US operations: workflow routing for staff training

Review workflow routing for staff training in TikTok Shop US operations. Check document scope, failure paths and source evidence through controlled tests.

What the documents look like

TikTok Shop US store operations differ from Douyin Shop shelf operations because of local return windows, return grading, and overseas logistics constraints. The working materials named in the brief are product listings, return and refund records, Return Grading evidence, and settlement statements. These come from TikTok Shop Seller Center, the order center, carrier tracking, and advertising reports. The brief gives the update frequency as daily and per order; that frequency does not change how the workflow routing nodes behave, so it is noted here only as stated.

For store service and internal training, workflow routing handles the handover of these materials. Operations staff submit return records and image evidence. After-sales specialists check settlement deductions. The training side needs the same judgment criteria written into a process that can be reviewed again. The brief names the consequences of error as platform automatic refunds, higher return fees, and failed appeals. The routing work therefore centers on making material status and authorization boundaries explicit, so both sides of a handover read the same field the same way.

Constraints at the workflow routing step

In FastGPT v4.17.2, the Form Input node is a user interaction node. When it triggers, the conversation enters an interaction state and the workflow state is recorded. After the user fills in the required information and submits, the node collects the form information and passes it to later nodes. The User Selection node also enters the interaction state. When the user makes a choice, the node evaluates that choice and executes the "yes" branch. Both nodes can be added repeatedly and both trigger execution.

These two nodes only collect information and evaluate branches. Order writes, document backfill, and external status synchronization require a separate business interface or a later process. Retrieval or a form submission does not constitute authorized execution. A pending review is not an approval. A quote validity period does not indicate a supply period.

Hypothetical paper exercise sample. The source text of a store service handover record reads: "Subject: TikTok Shop US store operations group; Object: the return and refund record and Return Grading evidence for Order A; Status: evidence uploaded, refund review pending; Scope: 1 March 2024 to 31 March 2024; Authorization boundary: review by this group's after-sales specialists only, external appeal requires separate approval." The proposed judgment sentence to be checked is: "The refund for this order has been approved, so the settlement deduction reversal can be executed." This sentence does not match the source text. The source text records only that the review is pending; it does not record an approval.

Configuration and implementation checks

Configuration itemSetting for this pageHow to check
Form Input nodeCollect required information such as return record, evidence number, and date rangeAfter submission, compare the fields passed to later nodes against the entered values
User Selection nodeSet a branch on "is the evidence complete"Verify the connection and execution condition of the "yes" branch one by one
Interaction stateRecord the workflow state after an interaction node triggersCheck the conversation state during interaction and the resumption of execution
Output handoverPass collected information to later retrieval, evaluation, or interface nodesCompare output against input item by item
External operation splitOrder writes, document backfill, external status synchronizationConfirm a separate business interface or later process is attached
Hypothetical trial starting valueThis exercise sets the date range to 1 March 2024 to 31 March 2024Reason: it matches the handover record scope; compare against the order's actual occurrence date

The hypothetical trial starting value in the table applies only to this paper exercise and is not an official default. The Form Input node and the User Selection node are both user interaction nodes that can be added repeatedly and that trigger execution. The interaction state record is node behavior; no separate global state recording switch is set here.

Three common errors

  1. Treating a retrieval hit as authorized execution. Input: the handover record source text above and the proposed judgment sentence. Comparison point: the source text status "refund review pending" against the proposed sentence "refund approved." Observable result: the two do not agree, and the proposed sentence is not supported by the source text.
  2. Treating pending review as a lack of operating permission. Input: the authorization boundary field of the same handover record. Comparison point: "review by this group's after-sales specialists only" and "pending" are two different fields. Observable result: pending describes a process stage only and cannot be used to conclude that permission is absent.
  3. Treating form submission as completed external synchronization. Input: the return record collected by the Form Input node. Comparison point: the node output against the actual status in the order center. Observable result: the node only passes information; order writes and external synchronization require a separate interface.

How to verify the setup

  1. Form Input check. Input the subject, object, status, date range, and authorization boundary from the handover record source text. Compare whether the required form fields cover these items. Observable result: after submission, later nodes receive complete field values.
  2. User Selection branch check. Input the choice result for "is the evidence complete." Compare the node evaluation against the "yes" branch connection. Observable result: the matching branch is executed and the other branch is not triggered.
  3. Empty result handover check. Use a clearly written paper input of an empty list to check the downstream design. Compare the downstream node's handling path for empty input. Observable result: the downstream side handles it as designed; no claim is made that a fictional rule retrieval necessarily returns an empty result. Libraries across different vector models cannot be associated together; verify the identifier first and exclude those that do not match, then record the actual observation.
